“My wife & I ate breakfast there 5/10/24….I didn’t get the waitress’s name. Service was good. The food was delicious, my wife got blueberry French toast & I got a bacon,egg & provolone cheese croissant along with a side bowl of milk gravy both meals were delicious !! “I have been so blessed to have been able to dine in this restaurant for the last 20 plus years. During that time I have been able to meet and become friends with the owner. It is always so rewarding to go to a restaurant that is privately owned and the owner cares about his food and his clients. As long as I own a home in this area, this will be one of my favorite places to dine.”

“Had an awesome experience there today visiting for the first time.. The waitress Christy was amazing, patient, always stopping by checking on us.. The environment was very nice, rustic feel, booths made us feel like royalty.. The food was very good, didn’t take long to come out.. the fish, oysters, and shrimp were all cooked and seasoned perfectly and tasted like they were caught this morning.. I highly recommend to anyone in the shallote or ocean isle are, as it was recommended to us and we were not let down at all..”

“If I could give a 10 rating 10 times I would! I ordered a 20-person package of bbq & chicken with slaw & potato salad. It was delicious & included iced tea, cups, paper plates, napkins, utensils, bbq sauce, hush puppies, & even salt & pepper…….plus ice. I couldn’t have asked for better food & service…….it was ready at pick-up time & rolled out on a cart with help to load into my car. I would definitely recommend this for a crowd & will definitely do this again!! Thank you, Smithfield’s in Shallotte!!!!”

“Stopped by here tonight on the way back to SC. We tried the corn ribs as an appetizer and they were AMAZING! We ordered the brisket, the Brisket Burger and the “Not Shrimp and Grits” which I HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!! The restaurant is very clean and the waitress was great! Service was fast also! If you’re in this area I definitely recommend you trying this restaurant. Not sure why it has the low ⭐️’s because I rate it as ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

I ate there for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it was fabulous. The size of the cheeseburger was quite large so go there hungry.
Oh yeah and the fries?...... They are really really good but don't order a large, lol!!!! ?
You get a lot of them.

If you have a peanut allergy, I do not recommend you even enter the building! They have free roasted peanuts for customers to enjoy while they wait for their food.
Also the prices are a bit high, but I think it's worth it!”

“ordered a 32 piece and were not disappointed! got Nashville hot and santa fe. Nashville wasn't very hot but still tasty. wings were great size and cooked perfectly. so juicy. fries also good. just needed a tad more seasoning. 8 out of 10 will order again!”
