“Fantastic Birthday Dinner! Took my husband out for his birthday dinner and we had an amazing experience. He ordered the Red Drum special and I had the Tuna Steak, hands down the best tuna I’ve had on the beach! It was a super thick cut, perfectly cooked, and seasoned just right. We started with the hush puppies, which came out piping hot and were served with delicious honey butter, such a treat! For dessert, my husband had the lemon pie and I had the banana pudding. Both were the perfect sweet finish to a great meal. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy. We’ll definitely be back!“

“While staying in Nags Head my family and I went to the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge. On the way we passed by Outland seafood and on the way back I decided to stop and check them out. I’m glad I did because it was the best seafood of our trip and possibly the best snow crab legs we’ve ever had! We got five pounds of snow crab legs lightly seasoned with some J.O. and steamed to perfection. I was a little nervous about the J.O. on snow crab legs but they were seasoned perfectly not overpowering the natural flavor of the crab meat. The legs were steamed so well that when we got back to Maryland and I ate the leftovers(2clusters, kept refrigerated of course)2 days later, the meat was still coming out in huge delicious pieces! I can’t wait to go back! Great food! Great service!“

“This restaurant has the classic outer banks feel. Formerly Owens Restaurant for several decades, The Captain's Table maintains the same charm and allure. The fried seafood platter was enjoyable. The Shrimp and Scallops were especially delicious. The collards were fantastic.“

“Soft Shell Crab special was amazing! The Sugar Creek Seafood Pasta w/ fire roasted pepper marinara was excellent as well. Dinner came w/ the best cornbread I've ever had, not something I would go out of my way to order but so glad it was included with the meals! Seasonal vegetable was a fresh cucumber, tomato and onion salad, very, very good!
Ordered food to go so waited at the bar and had excellent service from Cameron (I think I remembered his name correctly🤞🏻) He was so sweet and accommodating.

“Today I ordered a beer, was handed the beer for which I paid $5 which I had in my pocket. however while I was getting my wallet out of my bag, to get more money for a tip, apparently not fast enough, cause he quickly and loudly commented, "thanks I'll try not to spend the tip all at once. i was dumbfounded!! i wasnt even given the chance to tip. which I did... a $1. told him not to spend it all in one place. “We made reservations for 4:30 , had 14 in our group. Food has always been good but tonight's service was horrible. We had 6:00 tickets for Christmas lites & had to leave before ever getting our food. Other tables seated 15 to 20 minutes AFTER us got served. Will never recommend or go back again 😕“
