“We’ve passed by so many times and always see a bunch of cars. We finally stopped in last night and we are so glad we did. Drinks were great, our server was fantastic. I think her name was Gretta. She gave us food suggestions and was very attentive. Food was great. Hubby had the Sea Bass special and I had the pork belly and scallops. Both delicious. The baklava pie was out of this world. I think we will be stopping by again while we are visiting. Highly recommended. Lots of people waiting for a table and take out. We loved the vibe and decor.“

“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.“

“We were visiting family in the area and they took us to Soba. On the way back home to VA we couldnt stop talking about how great the sushi was. Our waitress Bee was also amazing. We can’t wait for our next visit to go back!“

Pecan honey bar: ask to have it warmed. Very rich. Good taste but mostly just tastes like honey.
Breakfast chorizo burrito: very good! Sausage has a strong taste, highly recommend.
Chocolate croissant: has chocolate on the inside, light and fluffy croissant. Very tasty.
Breakfast croissant: fresh and light. The tomato gave it a good fresh taste. If you want a light breakfast but filling, this is recommend.
Strawberry flavor in the latte was a huge hit with my party.
I wish they had some of the patties cut in half to see what the inside looked like, such as the eclair. ITS HUGE!
Fast pace environment like most coffee shops right downtown. Plenty of seating inside and a few seats outside if you want to tan in the direct sunlight.“

“We stopped here for breakfast at apx 11 am this morning, 07/07/23. We sat at the counter due to all seats being taken, busy place. Service was great, food was excellent, staff were all friendly and helpful and the camaraderie among them was easy and comfortable . The two 'grillmasters 'Bob' and ? sorry I forgot to ask her name ..were amazing to watch. 8 plates up and no tickets, mind boggling. “One of the guys showing folk to their tables was very rude, yeah, you know who you are! Everyone else was great and food was good. If you show up before your party don't ask to get a table and for sure when the rude table guy says you have to wait don't ask him to explain. I've eaten there many times but I think I'll go somewhere else from now on. Maybe the guy just had a bad day, who knows. I know losing my limited business won't hurt them but I'd rather be somewhere appreciated.“

“This is one of our favorite spots in Asheville! We highly recommend and they also have an awesome market where you can purchase a yummy Curate Salsa de Aperitivo, spices that you can use to cook with at home, ham sandwiches to go, and so much other delicious flavors from Spain. “my friends and I visited Monday after the herb festival and had the best food of our whole trip at Chestnut! they had the Eggs Benedict and I chose the burger gluten free. all our meals were amazing and the care our waitress put into asking about my gluten issues was so appreciated! I do believe it was the best gluten free burger fries and cheese tots I have eaten ever! Thank you so much for taking the time and going the extra mile for those of us with Celiac. If you love beer or cocktails and you need an early dinner, this is a great happy hour. You can get a huge chicken sandwich that tastes high quality for $9 or a delicious burger for $12. Drinks range from $3 - $10. They have plenty of cocktail and beer options during the happy hour as well. The only thing I wish they did was a red and white house wine with the happy hour menu as well. Other than that this is perfect for people who want a fancy delicious experience without the high price tag.

“Visited on my most recent trip to Asheville and was probably one of the best meals on the trip. We got a variety of different arepas(including a vegetarian), yucca fries and corn fritters. The yucca fries were by far my favorite of the sides, the vegetarian arepa was delicious but would have been a little elevated by a crunchy element. My sister got the Ropa Vieja and thought it was delish but would have liked a fresh element to top the dish like cabbage. The Pernil arepa was also a favorite but a little more sauce on the top would have put the dish over the top!
Overall, definitely worth a trip but don’t be surprised if you have to wait a couple minutes for a seat as there is limited seating inside. Service was great and they were very attentive.“

“I am new to Asheville and brought my mom, two aunts and cousin to visit. We chose to eat here on a whim. It was a busy Saturday with a long wait and several things happening in the area. My aunt us genuinely severely allergic to gluten. The options for her weren't super extensive, but they offer a gluten free bun and several other options. Our server seemed new and I noticed had been double sat. She was awesome, despite both. We had lots of questions and she didn't know all the answers but she had a great attitude and was accommodating. The manager came to help her out since it was so busy. My aunt had mentioned she was allergic to gluten, chose a gluten free salad, and just asked our server to make note not to add croutons. The Manger came over and assured us he was clearing a space in rhe back to prepare her food so it would be fully uncontaminated. We didn't ask for this, but he was proactive about it. One salad came with rhe wrong protein, no biggie, we said we'd keep it. He offered to have a side of salmon made or the entire salad replaced despite us assuring him it was OK. he then comped the entire salad, not just the protein we missed. We were running out of time on our parking meter so we canceled some drinks we had ordered earlier. The bartender has already made them and the manager not only brought them to us anyway but then comped them from our bill. Literally couldn't have asked for a better experience or nicer staff.“

“Was so happy we stopped in this time cause we couldn't get in 2020. Service top in class and Jordan was amazing behind the bar. We decided to do the trick tower seafood tower and well worth the money despite other reviews on it. Never thought I would go the the mans and order seafood but it was like we were on the coast. “Mad Co specializes in beer and pizza. Both are fresh and excellent. Te kitchen is open so you can watch them prepare the food. The bartendress was very helpful and knowledgeable about their products, the history of Mad Co, and their efforts to recover from hurricane Hellene. It was quiet for an early Saturday evening because Marshall, NC is still recovering from Hellene. If you are in the area, stop by for a beer or two, some pizza, and help everyone there continue to recover from the devastation. Everyone we met were pleasant and appreciative for us to be there. “This is my favorite brewery in Asheville. We fell in love with this brewery their first time we visited. Beers are creative and dark beers so delicious. And the food is to die for. Last evening Steak Po-Boy is simply the best we have ever had! Absolutely gourmet food in this brewery. We consider this as our dinner place and not just a brewery. This is THE must visit brewery for all our visitors. The venue is casual with quirky spots and many different hangout areas. We have huddled with friends in the winter months under shelter, enjoy music in the lower zone, hang out in the rooftop areas or just in the many tables around. We like the sister Forestry Camp too.“
