“I wanted to give a huge recommendation for Sean O’ Casey’s Pub. We had our department Christmas party there yesterday and cannot express how amazing everything was. Great service, affordable party room and the food was fantastic! Ben was our server and he did an excellent job!“
“Amazing beer selection! They do have food we looked at the menu but didn't eat there. The food we saw going to other tables looked like really good bar food!Parking: Park at the door, normal parking lot around the building that the bar is in.Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalks around buildings with ramp cutouts in the curbs.“
“Fries and Patty melt came out steaming hot. Bartenders were friendly and professional. A great selection of middle and top shelf bourbon and whiskey. The only thing that was missing was the whiskey cubes. But hey, it’s a neighborhood pub. Roll with it.“
“Great place to catch a Chiefs game and have a drink if you're in Omaha. The wings were good, not great, but the atmosphere is top notch. The wait staff was a little slow in refilling my drinks, but I was nursing a soda, not a beer or a shot, which were flying out from the bar. Definitely deserved the "Official Chiefs Bar of Omaha" designation.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed, as it's a restaurant and not just a bar, and there's plenty of visual stimuli for them.“
“Went to try the reuben egg rolls which exceeded my expectations. The sauce accompanying the egg rolls was to die for. I had a pork tenderloin sandwich which was fine. I am very picky about my tenderloins and would have preferred a thinner pork, but it was tasty all the same. My companion had the Friday night special of chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy, which he said was outstanding. As far as ambience we went without thinking we went on a Friday during that March madness so it was loud and quite difficult to talk to my companion. I don't blame the bar for that though it's my mistake to go at that time, other than that I think it would be fine and all things being equal, the service was more than adequate. Would definitely return. Especially for the egg rolls.“
“Burke's is a definite Benson neighborhood staple, and it's for good reason :-) The bartenders are always super friendly, and they have some fun events like pub trivia and free pool days. The main entrance area has a pinball machine, the bar, and a few high top tables. There is a side room with the pool table, a fun claw machine, and some additional seating with tables. My favorite part is the amazing outdoor patio in the back, all made of wood! They have a great beer selection especially if you're a fan of "Dad beers" which I very much am. They also have the famous "Apple Pie Shots" which are delicious (and therefore dangerous). Burke's has a very "uncle's basement" vibe, but in the best way. The cool uncle with a pool table and claw machine!“
“The food menu is small and a step above what you would expect from a pub. Everything is good. Love the smoked wings and beet burger (still great since the last time I went in 2018). For the drinkers, the cocktail and beer selection is great. There are also specials each day. Glad I came back with the family.“
“Hectic, terrible entry area, rude door guy usually, and not enough room. Despite all of that, the bar staff is great, the drink choices are very extensive, and I like most of the atmosphere. It's a coin flip for me whether I enjoy being there each time, but a lot has to do with how busy it is, which is not the bar's fault.Edit to respond to comment:I'm not asking for an apology. The point of reviews is so that people can know what to expect when looking for a bar. Even if it's things out of your control, it still is what happens in the bar. Sure the entrance isn't changeable, I get that. But I've personally been stuck on that stairway in freezing weather while the place was letting people in slowly over time multiple times. That's something I'd like to know ahead of time while reading through reviews of where to go. I think the rating is fair, and I'll still be there when you have fun events.“
“we LOVE maloneys! Such a fun place to hangout- you can play pool, darts, shuffle board and even volleyball! The Rueben egg rolls are the BEST- another great choice is the patty melt. Make sure to check this place out, BEST in town! Another benefit is the late night food!!!!“
“If you are just looking for a simple bar with good service and company, this is the place. This isn't the $10+ drinks and fancy atmosphere type of place. Set expectations accordingly. They do have darts, pool, keno and gambling machines.“
“Bavarian pretzels - awesome. Garlic fries were very good. Custom built smash burger and patty was overcooked beyond recognition. It was dry and tasteless which was a shame since my dining experience was quite nice otherwise.Parking: Small lot behind venue, not much room to maneuver. Tonight parking lot was blocked off and a special event tent took up much of the space.“
“Really great lunch here today. Our server (also the bar tender) was excellent, super friendly, and very attentive even with a busy room.Everything we had was really excellent. The fish & chips were just about perfect. Light, flavorful, and crispy batter with perfectly cooked flaky fish witbout being soggy -- really well done. The chips/fries were great as well, pretty sure they were made in house too.My partner had the Wagyu smash burger and loved it. The Mac and cheese (with bacon obviously) was also really very good. And the curry was a great and amazing surpise...so good.Loved it all. It's so great (and rare) to be able to write a review and have nothing but praise to give.We drove in from west O, and will be back for sure! Great job!“
“We hosted my husband’s 40th birthday here in January, and it was fantastic. There is a separate party room that doesn’t cost anything to rent; we just had to meet a $200 minimum. We hosted around 40 people- including some kids- and everyone fit comfortably. We brought in decor and dessert, and we ordered wings, pizza, spinach artichoke dip, fried raviolis, and a salad. The food came out about 30 minutes in, and it was hot and delicious. Clancy’s pizza and wings are both outstanding, and our crowd devoured them.We ended up ordering a second round of wings, which just took about 30 minutes from ordering. The part I was most impressed by was the service. We had our own server, Paige, and she was ON it the whole night. I don’t think anyone waited more than five minutes to drink. We set a budget for food and drinks, and she let us know when we met it. It was an easy transition to our guests paying for their own drinks too. I would highly recommend the use of Clancy’s party room to anyone looking for a spot to host a party! Additionally, the restaurant itself is a great spot to enjoy a meal or a drink.Kid-friendliness: The party room and restaurant are both very kid friendly! Plenty of food options for kids, available high chairs, and the staff and patrons are very friendly to kids“
“We were hungry and food this place by virtue of it being closest to where we were. Food was great. Hot, juicy hamburgers with super fresh topping. Hot & crispy fries and creamy coleslaw. The place is very clean, too. Nice spot for lunch!“
“You know the song...where everybody knows your name!!! Pub 134 is that kind of place!!Great atmosphere for spending time with friends. No food is served.Lance, the owner, is a great guy. Very personable and friendly. He makes sure everyone is taken care of. The bartenders are friendly. We love Joyce. She is one of the bartenders. Friendly, funny, and so sweet.Great neighborhood watering hole!“
“Classic neighborhood hangout to watch the game. Food is basic but good. About six beers on tap, but a surprisingly broad can/bottle selection in the glass cooler, including Duvel and Delerium Tremens! Bartender Josie was very nice, and explained the sand volleyball craze. Interior is small, décor is random Americana. Bike rack outside is a plus. My new favorite dive bar“
“Extensive selection of craft beer and whiskey. Bartender Noah was friendly and helpful navigating all the options. Service was quick, prices were reasonable, and the beer and whiskey we had were excellent. The atmosphere was laid back and inviting. We intend to visit again in the future!“
“My memories of Mr Toads are all magical, '74 to '78. Seeing the Stones and others stopping in on layover. The only pub in town with Guinness on tap- and they served a beautiful pint. My various girlfriends loved it, the pub grub was above average. The atmosphere a welcome break from Creighton's glass, steel, concrete, and dust. One memory is a little bittersweet, breaking up with a girl I truly loved because she wanted to be with a doctor eight years our senior. It didn't work out as she expected, my personal preview of the yuppie era. The MC told me the sea is wide and deep, full of pretty fishes ready to school around me. Was that Giovanni? It was '76. He was right, thanks.“
“We stopped in for some drinks before a Sunday dinner and it was delightful. There was some BINGO going on that we chose not to participate in. Their drinks were finely crafed and everything was delicious. I would definitely go back here!“
“Can't say enough good things about this place. Good food, drink and always a cool atmosphere. One of the best things about the place is despite the place being packed more often than not, the service is still always stellar. If you want some excellent irishish food and a vast variety of drinks, and service that you won't find a where else, this is the place for you.“
