“I can’t say enough how excellent this place always is. I took my girlfriend from out of state to Howlin’ Hounds because I knew the owner would make it a special experience. She loved her cortado and my mocha was fantastic as well. The atmosphere is great, with a beautiful bar and unique artwork on display. Thank you for the hospitality and conversation!“
“This was a relaxing coffee shop/market place that had a passage way in the back to access other stores in the Old market area. We ordered the cappuccino, Chai iced tea, and vegan brekky sandwiches. After my trip to Italy, I've been on the hunt for a cappuccino that tasted just as good and this cappuccino hit the mark. The chai iced tea was also top tier and the vegan brekky sandwich tasted great (tasted almost identical to eating a normal breakfast sandwich).“
“I first visited this place when it opened and I was quite surprised of the progress it has made. We arrived around 2:40 on a Sunday. There were out of some ingredients whoch makes total sense. I got a Vanilla latte and it was delish! I also got hot chocolate for the kiddos and they lived it. The chocolate was rich and tasty. The service does need a little refinement.A brief thank you for stopping buy or explanation of the menu. The ambiance was quite nice also. Relaxed and kid friendly, board games are available. I was so glad they added food items to their menu!! Overall good experience“
“A hidden gem of a coffee shop in the old market area. A little entrance and a nice spacious seating area with great ambience. The baristas are wonderful, ran into the owner who was working that day, great at what she does. Very varied coffee and food menu and you can't go wrong.“
“First went to this place with my girlfriend and I fell in love. We had breakfast and coffee and the food was delicious. What's better is the service. Cooked on the spot and served with love and care. We can't stay away from this place! Traditional Ethiopian!!“
“Reis’ Bakery offers a taste of fine European baked goods right here in Omaha. Their offerings are of the highest quality and will delight any foodie. The crew at Reis’ goes above and beyond when it comes to service with a smile and lots of heart. Thank you for your wonderful act of kindness.“
“Just visited for the first time with my family. The crepes and Boba teas were delicious. We will definitely be back. My toddler was entertained with the games they had for her to play (connect 4, jenga, tic tac toe, etc). The owner was so sweet and took great care of us.“
“I got a hot latte with honey and it was perfect. Good quality espresso. Fun interior with games, cute seating, and interesting products from different vendors.Wish I could give the service more stars, very patient and attentive. Sociable and kind too :)I’ll definitely be stopping back the next time in the area— competes with some of my favorites (bad seed, and the mill).Dietary restrictions: They have plenty of milk options and mark gluten free and vegan. No decaf espresso but there are other drinks to try than just coffee :)“
“As someone who works at a bakery I always enjoy finding small business bakeries when I travel. I stumbled upon Square Donut after digging deep into online searches and my lord this place is an absolute gem! I love the idea of changing the traditional shape of donuts because it makes them stand out from the get go. They have pretty darn unique flavors that were all delicious and the actual donuts were so light & fluffy rather than greasy & heavy. Service was fast & friendly with absolutely reasonable prices. We'll definitely come back in the future!“
“We love going to coffee society every Sunday if we can. They have a variety of bakery items, food and the most sugar free flavor options for drinks of any cafe we’ve ever been to. This is great for people who are diabetic or trying to avoid the extra sugar but still want the flavor!Customer service is great excellent. The girls who work there remembered my drink preferences even after not attending for a few weeks. I was amazed and impressed. This cafe truly feels like what “Local” should feel like! Coffee Society is truly hitting the mark in every area. They also carry Artemis Teas, which is great for when I’m trying to avoid the caffeine. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant and always clean! Can’t recommend them enough!Vegetarian options: I wish they had more vegetarian food items, and that they weren’t so pricey, but I understand why they are.“
“The worst part of living really far out west now is that Amateur is no longer down the street from me. I’m definitely missing that iced pistachio latte I used to get all the time. As a barista, I’m usually so particular about my coffee orders, but at Amateur I know I can order anything off of the menu, no modifications needed, and the drinks will be amazing every time!“
“Hardy's has vegan options. This is why I am a customer. Their vegan items are quite yummy. I'm giving 5 stars because I like what's vegan, the shop is a nice place to be, and the staff always behaves pleasantly. However, this review will include an important complaint that will hopefully help owners understand the seriousness of VEGANISM to their vegan customers. Whenever I order the vegan burrito in person, I'm always asked by staff if I want sour cream with it, to which I always reply, "no, sour cream isn't vegan." There is, of course, vegan sour cream, and Hardy's doesn't carry any. I ordered doordash, and the sour cream came in the bag. On the app, I didn't have an option to reject the non-vegan topping. To be vegan is to boycott all products that come from animal use.Having a non-vegan item included with a vegan order as default is a display of ignorance. Can I trust that the other things they SAY are vegan actually are? Do not call something 'vegan' on your menu if the whole order is not. Dairy items should never be volunteered to those not asking for it. Cow products are not positive for many reasons: antibiotic resistance, animal exploitation, environmental damage, etc. Consider those who are lactose intolerant. That's an allergy! In addition, it's important to connect with loss of business for limiting the vegan options. You know this to be true already based on the success of the brownie—which is always vegan. Vegans only choose animal-free foods—with no exceptions. If someone says they're vegan but they partake in non-vegan action periodically, they don't understand what the Philosophy of Veganism is. It is not merely a diet, it's an ethical way of living that boycotts all animal use, all the time, as far as possible. Now, pre-vegans DO eat vegan food. For example, I love poppyseed muffins. There are delicious vegan poppyseed muffins I buy at Whole Foods. I wouldn't cheat on my ethical standards just because I want a poppyseed muffin, I'm at Hardy's, and I don't want to make the drive to Whole Foods. I choose the vegan option instead, whatever flavor it may be. Boycotting the use of animals is more important than my taste preference for a POPPYSEED PASTRY, and the vegan option is delicious anyway. In reverse, pre-vegans aren't boycotting items ABSENT of cow's milk, chicken's eggs, honey, and anything else from an animal. Pre-vegans are who mostly buy that vegan brownie, and I doubt the majority of them even notice the LACK OF dairy, honey, and egg in it. I can't even tell a vegan pastry is vegan based on taste alone, because cow's milk and chicken's egg isn't what makes baked goods taste how they do. The plant ingredients bring them to life. If I was lied to, and told something was vegan when it wasn't, how would I know? The flavor profile isn't much different. You can't actually detect those ingredients in baked goods without a superhuman palate. What's the point of making any pastry non-vegan anymore? Animal ingredients are outdated. I also love cinnamon rolls. They are non-vegan most of the week, but on Friday and/or Saturday I can sometimes get a vegan cinnamon roll from Hardy's! Why are they not vegan all week? When desired vegan option is unavailable, vegans will leave and go elsewhere, or make it themselves. Lost business. I've gone in before for coffee and pastry when all vegan options were sold out, so I bought coffee only. If all non-vegan pastries were sold out and a pre-vegan came in for the same purpose, with their coffee they'd get a vegan pastry. No loss. By not making all pastries vegan and having default condiments for everyone be vegan, the result is lost business and waste. Aside from the ethical reasons to be vegan, I also understand that animal foods are detrimental to human health (Book: How Not To Die by Micheal Greger, MD). That cow sour cream went right down my garbage disposal. If y'all made your poppyseed m“
“Reminds me of the cafés in the northeast. It had a wonderful atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and patient as we figured out what we wanted since this was our first time. We just stopped in for coffee, so didn't try any food, but I would definitely recommend.“
“I've been to Spielbound many times for their pub quiz and for days of game play. It's a super fun concept, and a nice way to spend an afternoon with friends! The day passes for a full day of game play can run from $5-$7, depending on the day, which is pretty low when you see how many games and activities they have. They have HUNDREDS of games to play, and are adding more all the time. There is even a box out to suggests new games they may not have. Aside from all the fun games to play, you may get a bit peckish after a full day there, so they do have food and drink options too! Drink-wise, their coffee is out of this world delicious, and always comes with super cute foam art on top. I get the Sweet Victory latte, which is butterscotch and caramel and SO tasty. They also have some alcoholic options, like beer, wine, cocktails, and ciders. Day drinking and board games could be a lot of fun! In terms of food, they have pizza that is sourced from Tasty Pizza. I know it's heat and eat, but it was actually pretty dang good! However they're heating it up to serve is an excellent method because it does not taste unfresh at all. We had the hamburger pizza and it was super flavorful and filling. (We will definitely be stopping at Tasty Pizza to try some other flavors of their pizza, based on this!) Their fries were also pretty yummy, and came with bbq sauce and ranch to dip them in. I know fries are fries, but these were full of flavor and had a nice crunch. Aside from the games and food/drinks being delicious, the staff is also wonderful, helping you choose a drink, answering questions, and constantly restocking the games. These people have the patience of a saint! I definitely recommend Spielbound for an affordable and fun activity with the added bonus of enjoyable food and drinks, too.“
“We offer these hand pies for breakfast at our short- term vacation rental and our guests literally mention them in the reviews about their stay. Our nine year old also absolutely loves them and would eat them every day if he could.Nostalgic and comfort food feels for all ages! ?✨“
“incredible vibes! I missed being near a college campus and spending time at a place where the location itself was loved for its ambience, space, and availability. The hot chocolate that I had there was delicious… I obviously can’t speak for the coffee, but I highly recommend as a date spot, a study space by yourself or with friends, or just a place to be!“
“Really great, went in today for the first time and was helped by a very nice person who explained their setup to me. I tried the funnel cake, lemon, cinnamon sugar, chocolate peanut butter, and original glazed. All were amazing! Very soft donuts and very quick service, can’t wait to try their drinks soon :)“
“This place really surprised me as I was not expecting quality boba in a mall... I've tried many different boba spots from Asian markets to boba shops and this is by far, hands down BEST BOBA IN NEBRASKA! Not only is the boba amazing, the staff is fast and very friendly! Boba so good I went back for seconds. 10/10 recommend! You won't be disappointed by the variety and quality of the drinks!“
“I'm not giving a full five stars because of the fact that I feel like the Monday through Friday crew has really got it together and my chiller comes out perfect where has the weekend crew it's always a little less thick then the one I get Monday through Friday and I don't feel like they put as much effort into it it's not as pretty on the weekends and I didn't even get my whipped cream last time“
“Easy to pop in and get some work done at Roast! They have friendly people serving coffee who will give you great recommendations. Super close to UNO, it is a great place to study or meet up with friends. They have outdoor seating as well, and are a short walk from the park.“
“We went in a Sunday afternoon and there was only one person working and about fifteen people. She did excellent and got all four of our drinks out in a timely manner. The vibes were excellent and it is very Strong Towns. Definitely recommend checking it out.“
“I just stopped in here for a latte on a whim. Fascinating hang out with table games, couches, etc. Also the barista made an amazing cup of coffee. Very good quality.100% would recommend. Also, the entrance is downstairs if you are confused.“
“I had the pleasure of meeting Christian (the owner) and Nick (head chef) during a relaxed gathering at a mutual friend's sauna in Austin. Their genuine warmth and approachability left a lasting impression on me. Christian shared his inspiring story of navigating the challenges of launching Good Lookin' amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. What struck me most was their purpose for visiting Austin: seeking culinary inspiration and learning from different restaurants. This dedication to creativity and continuous improvement speaks volumes about their passion for their craft.A quick glance at their Instagram confirms the top-notch quality of their cuisine. I'm eagerly anticipating the chance to savor their Enchiladas Guapas.Good Lookin' undoubtedly promises a culinary journey worth embarking on that I can't wait to experience it firsthand!“
“Go here at least once a week. Great food. Great service. Great people. I've never had a bad experience here. This is definitely me and my wife's go to place to eat. It's easy to call in your order and pick up from the drive through too.“
“I love coming here for breakfast! Not too often do we make the trip, but when we do, it is always special! My regular is the house special with over easy and bacon. Chorizo is also good if you like! If you like crispy bacon, it’s always crispy! Very old school if you’re into that. Place is packed with older folk and just feels at home.“
“Had Hardy Coffee one other time prior to this when sister was in town visiting. Figured I would try again since been a while.Ordered Basic Breakfast Burrito & large Benchmark. Coffee good but a tad bitter, so my have to experiment with brew on next visit. Breakfast Burrito had no bacon &/or cheese as listed online menu description. Still good though with the side sour cream & salsa.Def will be trying again & hopefully with a much better result, other than that I am pleased.“
“I have purchased 8 books here and EVERY SINGLE ONE has been a hit. I trust their shelves! Plus its a great place to get some work done, to have hard convos with friends, to write or to read. Coffee is good; hot cocoa is great too. Def check out the books!“
“I recently visited Karma Coffee with my husband and had a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. As someone with celiac disease, I was thrilled to find a variety of delicious gluten-free options on the menu. And most everything is made in-house! The food was not only safe for me to eat but also incredibly tasty. In addition, they also sell gluten free mixes that you can buy and take with you. I highly recommend Karma Coffee to anyone looking for a cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and great food! We will definitely be returning.“
“Exceptional multi-roaster cafe, great atmosphere, and a fantastic organization. So many pour over offerings from some of the world’s top roasters, almost impossible to choose what to drink (in the best possible way). Can’t afford to miss this spot if you’re in “
“Green Bean is delicious! I always get the strawberry banana smoothie, it tastes natural compared to a lot of other places. Here its like the smoothies I make at home and I love how big their large size is, because I usually can finish a smoothie in the car on my way home ? And to top it off they have a rewards program! Def my favorite place in the neighborhood for breakfast.“
“This is one of my staff’s favorite spots for meetings and interviews! Usually pretty quiet in the mornings, really tasty options for food, and the staff are always friendly and upbeat. Personally, I really dig their regular choice of music since I’m a 90’s kid. On the unfortunate side, I usually end up going the day before they bake more food ? which is no fault of theirs. Recommend for a nice relaxing spot to chill and get some work done or talk with a friend.“
“I had ordered the chicken and waffles, waffles by themselves, chicken and spaghetti, and the chicken omelet everything was delicious. Whoever that young nan was that cooked my food he needs to have a raise. This was my first time ordering from you guys and it reminded me of home.“
“1st time going. Coffee was delicious. Had the coffee fight for their Valentines special. ?It was pretty busy for a Friday morning. But the staff was great. Very patient with everyone. Helped me decide on my flight choices. Will be going back .“
“Didn’t eat here. I actually went to the live plant side and was waited on immediately. The lady was very helpful. They didn’t have what I was looking for but she gave me a competitor that could possibly help me out. She was truly awesome. Thank you very much.“
“We made a point to stay at a hotel nearby last night so we could come to this shop. We found this place on a previous trip, and since we were coming through town again, we knew we wanted to come back! Great food, friendly people, and a relaxing vibe.“
“Stories is my favorite local coffee shop in Omaha! Cozy and lively atmosphere with the best coffee. Their cinnamon roll lattes and dirty chais are delish. Both the Davenport and Grenta locations are my go-to places to meet up with friends!Parking: Ample parking at the Davenport, Gretna and Lifegate locations!“
“Really loved the space as it makes for great meeting area or working. The menu is pretty simple. I had a matcha which was much sweeter and heavier than I would normally for it tasted more like drinking ice cream than a matcha. The staff was incredibly friendly and we talked with them multiple times during our visit. I'd be interested in trying coffee or latte next time as the sweetness was much more than I anticipated.“
“I moved to Nebraska for my job and loved living here! Everyone is super friendly and pretty young so it was easy to make friends here! Anytime I needed maintenance, they would come quick and fix any issue. Super clean! I recommend these apartments!“
“Good spot to grab a drink when out running errands (happens to be located right by a Target/Ulta/Ross/World Market). I like sweet drinks and my girlfriend likes tart drinks and we both have something we enjoy on the menu. I do like that you can buy the drink packs to take home because I don't always have time to stop by on my way to work or when I want one. Definitely a great spot to check out.“
“Location - great area that was close to many other restaurants.Drinks - quality espresso drinks that are really well made. If you are searching for a coffee place on google and you are looking to see if they have a quality espresso machine. Look no further.Vibe - very cool atmosphere. Lots of plants and open feel.Parking: When we arrived the shop was about 80% full and he got the last parking spot in there lot. There was still street parking available.“
“Best little spot for a treat, I had the same barista coming back 3 years later. Amazing. He makes the most delicious espresso, also shared that he's narrator on the side. Being a barista for 8 years, I often stumble upon disappointment. This however, an amazing coffee house. I look forward to visiting when I get back to Omaha. There's also stunning snacks. Reasonable prices too!“
“Hill of Beans is probably my favorite coffee roasters period. This place has a great vibe for getting delicious coffee while also having some more seating than their roaster location on center. I had the pumpkin spice blended drink and it’s >>>> Starbucks.“
“What sets Black Sheep Coffee House apart is its commitment to the community. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they often host local events and showcase the work of nearby artists. This adds a vibrant and local touch to the coffee house, making it not just a place to enjoy a great cup of coffee but also a hub for cultural and community interaction. Black Sheep Coffee House is a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts and anyone seeking a welcoming, artsy, and community-oriented coffee experience. It's a place where you can savor exceptional coffee while feeling like you're a part of a friendly, local community.“
“Best spot for bubble tea and onigiri! I make sure to stop where whenever I am in town or even passing thru Omaha. This is probably my favorite place in Omaha given how often I come here. There is so much variety to their menu and they prolly have the best prices for bubble tea!“
“Haley is the best employee Hay Jay could have anyone with a smile as bright as hers early in the morning with the most positive energy she deserves a raise for sure. I told her to make me what she thinks would be delicious and it was beyond that?? I would recommend Hay Jay to anyone because of Haley.“
“This place helped support an organization that our daughter benefits from so I have their coffee a try. It was so good I've ordered several more bags. Today we stopped by to pick up more coffee, and grabbed a soft pretzel. Absolutely love their coffee and that pretzel was great!“
“I already loved Archetype Coffee, but the one in Millwork Commons is special. The open space and sleek industrial style is perfectly complimented by the pops of color from digital and traditional forms of art. The matcha was creamy and smooth, the strata was herbaceous and comforting. 10 out of 10, would absolutely recommendKid-friendliness: The open and colorful space would definitely inspire any young artists or aspiring architects“
“We used Pettit's for a wedding in August and could not be more pleased! Ordered 4 flavors of sheet cake and fed over 400 guest! Prices were amongst the lowest we found and they had flavors we couldn't get from other locations such as peanut butter and a raspberry that was the guest favorite! Easy to work with and let us pick it up the day of with no delays.“
“This is a very clean and well maintained, spacious coffee shop. Know right off the bat that it is in a church. However, it is a legit coffee shop, equipped with an espresso machine and friendly barista. There is a lot of parking and plenty of space inside to have a conversation with a friend. Perhaps the best part is the play area for kids. Many moms and dads a like let kids play while chatting with a friend.“
“A great coffee shop with a wonderful staff. It's Family owned and they always have some special brews and great pastries. It's a very warm welcoming place for a drink and read your book or spend time on your IPads, laptop or other electronic devices. Stop by and check it out, you won't be disappointed.“
