“I have food allergies and need to eat fresh clean ingredients. I feel so lucky to have a local cafe that offers Just about anything I'd want. The cook is a thoughtful soul and helped me out for Thanksgiving for just my son and I. The cashier was equally nice and totally accommodating. It's a chill atmosphere not a place to run in and out of, we like it that way! It's a local community that care about each other. Thanks for everything you do to keep us healthy. God bless“

“I’m from the Boston area and was meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner. We picked Durbar Square and we’re definitely not disappointed. We had an absolutely fabulous meal there. The chicken chili was a delicious, and a different approach than any chili I’ve had before. The chicken was perfect cooked. The sauce was full of flavor. They also ask you to pick yours spice range from 1-10 so you can choose what suits you best. The owner, John, is totally engaged with his customers and if you want, can even demonstrate a yoga pose or 2 (which he is very good at). Just overall a great place to eat.“

We both chose the seafood fettuccine, which was heavenly - incredible pasta and sauce topped with succulent seafood. Desserts were lavender creme brulee and white chocolate cake...Holy cow! “We had a great Independence day having lunch at the Ikko! My boys didn't stop raving about the amazing food and funny entertainment by our cook at the hibachi! My youngest even said if he had $100 he would give it to him that's how good he was LOL The service was on point, my youngest has celiac disease and allergic to gluten but had no problem as the menu was adjusted to his needs. As a picky eater, my youngest ate everything and even asked for seconds. My boys talked about booking their birthday dinners here even though its not until months away. “I got my Christmas tree at Emery Farm this year, and it was a great experience! All the trees were really nice and in really good shape, they sell cider donuts you can munch on, they had a cozy campfire going near the tree lot where you can keep warm while you're waiting, everyone is very friendly, and they are giving away a cute wooden ornament with a tree purchase! I wrestled it in my door and onto a stand, with minimal needle loss despite the manhandling. It may not be the cheapest option, but the quality is there and they make the experience worth it. If you are able to support local places instead of big box stores and corporations, it's really a good thing to do and it really does make a difference. It keeps our money in our community instead of the wallet of some big faceless far-off corporation. 🌲💚“

“Third year update - this place continues to delight and amaze! Tried the butter toffee cake, equally great. All the pizzas are spectacular.
This is the second year in a row we had an early dinner here, and once again it was amazing.
All the dishes have a special touch to them, something unique and delectable.
The pizzas are spectacular, with wood fired char on the crust. The sandwiches are equally wonderful, each with perfectly balanced spices.
My special of the day spicy martini was one of the best I ever tasted, potent yet eminently drinkable.
The desserts are out of this world, especially the brownie sundae.
The service was terrific as well. Can't recommend this place highly enough!
Looking forward to next year!
