“We came here especially after hearing great reviews, and we were definitely not disappointed. The place is lovely, with a unique atmosphere and warm, welcoming service from the owner. The food is outstanding, both in quality and taste. The portions are generous and filling, and everything was simply exceptionally delicious.

The owner was kind, friendly, and hospitable, and even happily adjusted one of the dishes for someone in our group. Thank you for a wonderful experience and absolutely perfect food!“

“Really great food- we had the shrimp fried rice, noodle bowl and wings (salt + pepper). All meals were so tasty even the spring rolls! Wings were crispy, well seasoned and tasty. Restaurant staff are very nice and welcoming. We sat in, only 4 tables. It was a good dining experience not like a sit down restaurant for example you order at the desk, and there’s no waiter. So casual and lovely vibes! Definitely recommend and will be ordering again!!“

Corey's pho is fire[1], full of trimmings, with a soothing beef broth.

Chef/owner Corey is a cool dude - he offered his homemade chili oil to me, which pizazz'd my noodles. I've never had chili oil with pho until I went to Corey's; it's now a sometimes habit for me!

This restaurant is the size of a breadbox[2], so call ahead before bringing your party of 8 there. If you want to host a private party, just work with the restaurant directly.

“This place felt like I just ate at a family friend’s house, it was comforting, and made with care. The food had that homemade feeling that you don’t always get when eating out.

The spice level was perfect. It had the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavor, and every bite felt balanced. Simple, authentic, and really satisfying.

“The tofu was so well seasoned - dare I say braised? Sometimes banh mis are too dry but this was full of saucy flavor in every single bite. This is well worth traveling for. “We absolutely love Banh Mi Factory and Pho! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and the drinks are just as good. Everything we’ve tried has been so enjoyable, and you can tell there is a lot of care put into the food and presentation.

What makes our visits even better is the wonderful service. There is a young lady name Tam who takes care of us whenever we come in, and she is honestly the sweetest! She is so friendly, welcoming, down-to-earth, and always makes us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Great customer service like that really makes a difference and keeps you wanting to come back.

Vietnamese restaurants can sometimes be a miss when it comes to professionalism and friendly service, but these ppl made sure our table had everything we needed.

Just as we were sitting down to eat our food the worker decided to open the doors to carry all the outdoor furniture in then kept them open while he changed trash outside too. Not a care in the world for how freezing it was for his customers. It was extremely disappointing. We drive like 25 minutes to eat here. May be a while before we do that again.“

“Just had the best banh mi sandwich of my life! Bread was warm and flaky, filling was spicy but not overwhelming, everything was fresh, and it came out in the time it took me to go wash my hands—all for under $6! I stumbled on this place with no expectations, but cannot WAIT to eat here again.“

“While it's a typical menu you'd expect from a Vietnamese restaurant, the quality of food is higher than most. Bahn Mi sandwich was amazing, Pho broth was excellent, and my rice combo platter with pork chop was expertly grilled and juicy. Definitely worth a visit.“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“I absolutely love the lychee green tea from this place! I literally get three cups every week 😋 It’s so fresh and seriously delicious, and not too sweet at all. “Stopped in for lunch, it was fantastic! I wish I was from this area so I could go back. The Pho was quite possibly the best I have ever had. I had brisket and meatballs, the brisket was very tender and the meatballs had great flavor. It is a mom and pop shop, so a little bit of wait but so worth it for the delicious food! The Crispy Squash Blossoms and Imperial Pork & Tasso-Crab Spring Rolls were fantastic starters, and the Lemongrass Smoked Beef Short Rib was rich, tender, and beautifully prepared.
The cocktail menu is just as impressive. The Mama Mai Tai and Lavender Love were unique, balanced, and paired really well with the food. Everything felt thoughtfully designed, from the presentation to the ingredients and flavors.

“I’ve been getting banh mi from Cafe Cuong for over 15 years, they have the best banh mi in town. However, last time I went in 2025, the young guy at the counter overcharged $5…this is not about the 5 bucks that he try to steal, it’s about even with loyal customers, he’s still trying to to screw over. Really smart running the business..I stop going!“

“Mama Ha’s is regular part of my Saturday to load up on food. Always a variety of summer rolls and vermicelli dishes available to go. Funny is I’ve loved just about everything I’ve had but the one I’m most obsessed with is the Xoi Ga which is just sticky rice, scallions and grilled chicken….and if my wife would allow me to just fill our fridge with this I would. Great Vietnamese coffee also!“
