Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“5 stars are not enough to tell you how good this place is. We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. My only regret of the night was not having enough stomachs to enjoy more of what Madre could serve up. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Madre!“

I instantly fell in love with their Georgian food. Seriously, I’ve been thinking about it ever since! So when they opened a new spot on the Upper East Side, I knew I had to go back right away. Good news: it was just as incredible. Everything we ordered tasted so authentic and comforting. It felt like a warm hug on a plate. “Fabulous experience last night here for a quick fun trip to the city. Perfect pre-show spot if seeing anything at Lincoln Center, as we were. Team from hostess, to manager Shay, who was checking on all guests periodically, in addition to our fabulous server Tijana were wonderful and so friendly. The food did not disappoint either! Great menu, and reasonable prices for the amazing quantity you get- not to mention the quality. We went for the filet with the cacio e Pepe ravioli and there really aren’t enough adjectives to describe how delicious it was - perfection!! In addition the garlic babel, pepperoni cups, meatballs, antipasto wedge and MOST mind-blowing lemon cheesecake were all sublime!! Great job and can’t wait to get back to try the other amazing dishes we saw delivered all around us.“

The place is cozy, with covered outdoor seating.
We ordered the mushroom and leek gratin, the chicories hazelnut salad and scallops and every thing was incredibly delicious! The gratin was creamy and rich, the salad very flavorful with a perfectly balanced dressing and the scallops so buttery.

“This Manhattan diner was neat and clean, and the food was definitely good. The staff was friendly, but one downside was that they charged for refills on small cups, which felt a bit pricey. Overall, a solid spot for a tasty meal if you’re in the area, just be aware of the extra charges, they will try to be sneaky.“

“We went for Thanksgiving, not expecting much. Understanding they would be busy at 7pm, we decided to take our chances and walk in. Super friendly service. We got a welcome eggnog, brilliantly cooked 3 course price fix menu, great service. There were some hiccups (soup came out crazy fast, while the drinks took the normal time. A little odd) loved that they had a kobe steak as arn option, very moist turkey too. Pumpkin creme bruleee was tasty-not too "pumpkiny". They even have us a free champagne with dessert. “I was first introduced to Carla's two years ago and I have been dreaming of both their Hibiscus Margaritas and Grilled Corn Romaine Salad ever since. YES A SALAD!

Happy to say I finally had the opportunity to return for an intimate birthday celebration and everything was just how I remembered it.

Without a doubt I absolutely ordered the roasted corn salad. It has tomatoes, avocado, roasted corn, Romain lettuce, and an amazing dressing. I added the pan seared chicken. The chicken was super flavorful and juicy, and extremely tender, not overdone. The salad was magical just as I remembered it. In addition the guac was fresh and the Hibiscus Margs was a tasty way to wash it all down.

It's amazing how I dream about this salad. It's a good thing I don't live close because I would have no problem factoring in this salad which is a little pricey into an almost daily budget. Lol.

Needless to say I will not be reminiscing about this salad for two years again. I will be back sooner than you think.

Friendly staff, delicious Beyond Burger wrap w sweet potato tots, and a deeeeelish freshly made strawberry lemonade. Highly recommend! I’m keeping this place in my fav saves. If I’m ever back in Newark NJ I’m def stopping back. That drink was so perfect for the hot day!“
