“No words for how good the food, service and atmosphere is here! Highly recommend to everyone. We are visiting from North Carolina and are glad we made a stop here.We will be visiting Tierra mia on the next trip here for sure! Everyone is so friendly here and the food was delicious. They also have beautiful mural artworks inside and artwork of Costa Rica. Again everything was amazing but if i had to choose a favorite dish it would definitely be the empanadas 😋“

“I usually go early morning so its not too crowded, love the pastelitos, I think these are my favorites from the whole array of restaurants on my way to the train station lol also love the pupusas revueltas (the salsita roja needs a lil work tho), also they had taquitos -similar to Mexican flautas, which were reaaally good!
The girls are super nice and attentive -you can see them working hard making pupusas right in front of you- and this place is always clean (including the restroom)“

Between the oxtail and the jerk chicken, it’s really good.
The oxtail was a bit on the warmer side. I like my food hot/fresh.
Also, prices online are different than actual prices.
I ordered a large online and got a small. I was told $ 17 gets you a small, and a large is $ 21 +. Well, that to me doesn’t make sense because it only all ordering platforms as such. They explanation was “I have to speak to them,” and to “pick up a beef patty to make up the difference.” And then I was told $ 17 gets you a small, and a large is $ 21 +.
They put wine in the sorrel, and I appreciated the brother for letting me know because I don’t consume alcohol.
And when I got the beet juice instead, the bill went from $ 25 pre-tax to $ 34 after tax.
I get it, it’s a home-made kitchen quality but need to be better with how they present the prices.“

“I was born around the corner....in my most lonely moments, this place became home. my favorite meals. it is also available on uber eats. I love you Lucia, it is Patrick. this is a wholesome environment where you DO get your moneys worth and even more. no chisma no gossip, all love and respect in this building and everybody is welcome. I am a spaniard, to be so accepted and seen in a latino environment is something I don't take for granted. I recommend the beef empanadas, if youre veggie get there early to catch the cheese ones! and the chicken is a classic...
I recommend you get there early if you want yellow rice because I'll beat you there! haha.
