“They make real jerk chicken! ON THE GRILL! Tasted it with one meal and I bought more to take home so my family know it’s the real deal… definitely coming back and often 😇 additionally! They have 2 very friendly cashiers/servers which is usually hard to find. Met the owner and he also seems to be a nice guy… I don’t write reviews often unless I received bad service but today it is the opposite! People nice and food nicer! 🥰“

“The food here is sooo good. Me and my friend were recommended to come here and get something for our Halloween movie watch party. So we said why not? We were not disappointed in the slightest bit. You can smell the food down the street and the atmosphere when you walk in is 10/10. The staff inside are so nice. The portion are hefty and plentiful. The food was so delicious. I got their shrimp, fish and wings plate with fried okra, potato salad and sweet potato fries. My friend got the catfish, wings and fries plate with collard greens, candied yams and fried sweet plantains. We also decided to get their peach cobbler wings. Worth every penny.“

“While waiting to attend my uncle's repast I figured the food may not be Guyanese vegan/plant based friendly. I googled several Caribbean restaurants between the funeral parlor and the repast location. I was detailed, you'll find 3 Caribbean restaurants on the same street. However the ladies at the front at GG were welcoming and so helpful in finding something I could eat.
I had Bora and Chow Ming with plantains. The homemade ginger beer was good too. My entire family was able to get some Guyanese food (non vegan).

“This is more of a takeout spot. There are a few chairs where you can sit but it’s a pretty small venue. The wait time was long and they were busy but the food was AMAZING! So flavorful and truly authentic Haitian cuisine. They have variety in the menu and tons of items to choose from with photos so you can see what it looks like before you order.“
