There’s a lot of food when you order Turkish Breakfast. The cheese on the platter is very rich. Definitely try the Turkish eggy toast. It’s absolutely so yummy. It’s only on Sundays 10:00am-2:00pm. The atmosphere is fantastic. Especially for any kind of showers or parties. I’ve found out they have 2 more locations in Cliffside Park,NJ & Livingston,NJ as well. The owner is super nice and he welcomes and is so polite to customers. The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge parking lot. Handicapped customers are welcome to restrooms and parking lot.“

“Ok so I kept seeing social media posts about fufu and egusi soup. I was told there was a good place on Forest Ave but it unfortunately closed. Lo and behold, this place is right next to my work. I saw some iffy reviews on this place and I was a little hesitant to try it.

I was wrong! This place is delicious! I am adventurous with food in general but never had African food. I have to say, I crave this now. I crave it often. The egusi soup with spicy chicken is so flavorful and unctuous. I’m all about food being balanced as I eat it, such as white rice with salty/saucy/flavorful foods. So this was a real treat because the pounded yam is the perfect clean slate carb to dip into the flavorful/spicy egusi soup.

Now if you don’t want spicy, you can tell the owner. She asks if you want it spicy or not. And when I say spicy it is, makes my mouth water and your jaw tighten when you smell it. Just the right amount of heat for me.

Also the owner is so hard working and sweet! Please support local businesses, they need our business! Whenever I eat out for lunch, this is at the top of my list!“

“Thanks to a friend of ours, we found a nice spot for Mediterranean cuisine! The Sahara bread was amazing… Falafel was the best I ever had and the hummus was DELISH! “I was going to take a trip to Brooklyn to eat me some food in a restaurant out there but then I decided to stay here so I wanted to see where can I find some good lamb chops and I punched it on my phone and I went to the place and I'm not sure who's giving the bad comments but whoever it is don't know good food I ordered lamb chops which came with rice and salad and it was amazing I have eaten lamb chops at a more pricey place much much higher in price and you only get two lamb chops and I spent the arm and the leg for it and it wasn't that great but this place the lamb chops was excellent the way the service the weight of the waitress everybody was great I didn't have to wait long to order and it was a lot of people in there but if you expect them to get something in 5 minutes then obviously you need to stay home because no restaurant that cooks food. Should take 5 minutes to cook it it has to be longer so I really really enjoy myself that he only downside to it was that I wish I could have eaten more but I had no room for it because I would have ordered another plate of lamb chops but I'll definitely go back again and the waiter or the service person his name was Val v a l excellent excellent guy they're all friendly the staff is really really good there and you get more than enough food so I highly recommend it and I give it five stars“

“Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“

“Visited a restaurant for the birthday party in May 2022. Clean, welcomed staff, good service, a lot of parking on the street. We placed an order. It was not too long, which is good because the reservation was for 6:30 pm and everybody was hungry. Appetizers were delicious especially both types of calmers. 3 people ordered NYS trip stakes. OMG! All 3 stakes were stingy. Nobody finished the stake. Medium and well done came up the same. Black color even tongue was black after eating the steak. It's because when cooked the steak did not clean the grail. Also, I recommend checking your receipt. We found 3 items that we did not get on the table for a total of almost $80. One of them we never ordered, and two newer ones were delivered to the table.“
