Esther the cashier greeted me with such a calm and welcoming smile reminded me what great Customer Service is supposed to look like. I also have visited the Bridgewater location and unfortunately, it has a lot of room for improvement. “The most amazing and delicious Turkish Breakfast I ever had. Not only in New Jersey area. I’ve tried lots of places in the Tri-State area and it’s definitely 5 Stars. Everything is homemade. There’s a lot of food when you order Turkish Breakfast. The cheese on the platter is very rich. Definitely try the Turkish eggy toast. It’s absolutely so yummy. It’s only on Sundays 10:00am-2:00pm. The atmosphere is fantastic. Especially for any kind of showers or parties. I’ve found out they have 2 more locations in Cliffside Park,NJ & Livingston,NJ as well. The owner is super nice and he welcomes and is so polite to customers. The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge parking lot. Handicapped customers are welcome to restrooms and parking lot.“

“We saw this stall on Pershing square and library way. Great food! Friendly gentleman working his magic on the blacktop. We got a chicken gyro and a combo gyro. Really good portions and the sauces were not overpowering, the red sauce is about half the heat of halal guys. Made to order. And there were benches to sit on a few yards away.“

“Ok so I kept seeing social media posts about fufu and egusi soup. I was told there was a good place on Forest Ave but it unfortunately closed. Lo and behold, this place is right next to my work. I saw some iffy reviews on this place and I was a little hesitant to try it.

I was wrong! This place is delicious! I am adventurous with food in general but never had African food. I have to say, I crave this now. I crave it often. The egusi soup with spicy chicken is so flavorful and unctuous. I’m all about food being balanced as I eat it, such as white rice with salty/saucy/flavorful foods. So this was a real treat because the pounded yam is the perfect clean slate carb to dip into the flavorful/spicy egusi soup.

Now if you don’t want spicy, you can tell the owner. She asks if you want it spicy or not. And when I say spicy it is, makes my mouth water and your jaw tighten when you smell it. Just the right amount of heat for me.

Also the owner is so hard working and sweet! Please support local businesses, they need our business! Whenever I eat out for lunch, this is at the top of my list!“

“I got the kabab platter, a drink and baklava. The platter was good, my favorite was the kofta. The baklava wasn’t too sweet but had a faint taste of coconut that im not used to, overall I would recommend this place! The customer service was nice and the restaurant is clean and filled with beautiful art!“
