“Great little speakeasy hidden away in the entry to the subway. Great decor and a super friendly bartender made for fun drinks. The gold coated coffee bean martini made with 1942 was really good. The martini flight was a good sampler and came in cool little glasses.“

“I really love parlour room. The bar is so cool. When you walk in it has a cool vibe like old New York. I like the bottle display and they have a shaker machine that super shakes the cocktails. So fun: the bartender said it’s the only one in nyc. I love the cocktails and i definitely come here when we see a show or after dinner drinks, but the food here is good too! Then we pop over to bo peep the speak easy next door“

“An unforgettable experience at Rosevale Kitchen + Cocktails!
From the moment my friend and I arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile by the maître d’, setting the tone for a truly special evening. The ambience is vibrant yet calm, with a stylish outdoor patio that adds a refreshing touch of open air and relaxation.
Sofia, our server, was absolutely phenomenal—polite, well-mannered, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful. She helped me choose the perfect drink, even bringing a wine sample that turned out to be a hit. Her descriptions were spot-on and made the decision effortless.
The food was outstanding. My friend’s Pre-Fix dinner was beautifully presented—her shrimp dish looked like a work of art, and the lime pie was perfectly balanced with just the right touch of sweetness and acidity. Sofia’s explanation of the chicken’s subtle sweetness was accurate and made the dish even more enjoyable.
Now, about the burger—I've had burgers all over, but this one was next-level. Cooked well-done (just how I like it), yet still moist and packed with flavor. The layers of pickled onions, Gruyère cheese, and sauce were absolute perfection.
Sofia’s attentiveness and charisma added a magical touch to our evening before heading to a Broadway show. Her professionalism and enthusiasm made our experience truly memorable. I can't wait to return with friends and family—and I hope Sofia is there to share her incredible hospitality with them too!“

“Food was good but menu was little confusing. Tried to order a breakfast and got a sandwich. The food was good just as with most places in NYC shrinkflation hit here just as it did most others. That doesn't diminish the service or the quality though. I sat at the bar which is set up as classic American diner, which gives it a homey atmosphere.
Will visit again given a chance but not in the immediate future.“

“This is one gorgeous bar: the lighting, the art, the wood paneling, the seating. They are all exquisite ! From the moment you walk through the revolving door you are immediately met with grace and hospitality.
Even without a reservation we were accommodated and treated with charm & perfect service. Our server was knowledgeable and full of good humour. The suits of the servers are pristine and add a considerable touch of class. The food menu is fully plant based & looks very intriguing (we did not sample however). The cocktail list is clever & the wine selection is top shelf.
Clemente Bar does everything right. It is a special night out !“

“Tucked above the fantastic Osamil restaurant, you have a standout sophisticated speakeasy bar. Intimate and upscale, you have a perfect setting to impress a date or out of town guests. Cocktails are creative and delicious mixing unique Korean ingredients. Each drink is a work of art, beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. However, be prepared for a high end experience to come with a high end price tag. Cocktails are above $20. Service could be improved for the type of establishment and price. I felt a bit rushed while we were there and was never checked on. As much of a fan of the Osamil restaurant, I expected better service. Regardless, worth the visit if you’re in the area and looking for a unique cocktail experience.“

“This was such a cute spot! I loved the theme and how thoughtfully they carried it throughout the space. It really made for a fun atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that feels cool, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the moment.
The food itself was decent, and the prices seemed fair for the area. While it might not be somewhere I’d go just for the food, it’s definitely a spot I’d return to for the overall experience. I could easily see myself coming back with a group of friends to hang out, share some laughs, and enjoy a few drinks. It’s one of those places that just works well for catching up and making memories. I'm looking forward to visiting again at some point.“

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

“Went here on a Friday night with friends (reservation for 4, highly recommend booking ahead). We got there around 9pm and they had live music playing almost the whole night — such a fun vibe. The interior design and overall atmosphere really give you that speakeasy feel, stylish and unique.
We ordered the appetizer “tower” to share (mini burgers and snacks, solid but nothing mind-blowing) and a couple of oyster plates (just okay). Drinks were great, though most leaned on the stronger/earthy side — not many sweet cocktail options if that’s your thing. Still, the menu is creative and well-curated.
Price-wise, it adds up quickly — with the apps, oysters, and a couple drinks each, the bill was over $300 for four people. Definitely on the expensive side, but it felt worth it for the experience.
Service was attentive without being pushy. They checked in often at first, but later gave us space to relax and enjoy, which I really appreciated — no rushing to finish or leave.
Overall, a great place for a chill but classy evening with friends. Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a fun speakeasy experience in Manhattan.“

“Visited on Wednesday night to celebrate mine and my husbands wedding that day and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by lovely friendly staff. We were seated quickly and were introduced to our server. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was fantastic. We opted for the Korean bacon to start and we both had the butchers feast. Outstanding. The steak was beautiful and the dishes that came with it were amazing too. The short rib and egg soufflé were my favourite. Thank you for letting us celebrate our wedding day in your restaurant.“

“My friend and I made a reservation for Gurumé at 7pm on a Saturday. I would recommend making a reservation if you are dining around this time, as it was packed! However, the crowd had dissipated by 8:30pm, so if you're looking for a later evening bite, it's definitely slower. I would also recommend not dining at peak hours because it was so loud. Decor is your average, upscale vibes, but the tables are really close together to maximize the amount of people in the space.
We ordered crispy corn and cheese ($14), oyster mushroom taco ($17), berkshire kimchi fried rice ($19), scallop crudo ($19), and pork & radish "bossam" ($19). We also ordered the black sesame bread pudding for dessert ($11). Overall, the food was flavored well and tasty. You're paying entree prices for appetizer portions, but it makes sense for the location. If I came back, I would skip the kimchi fried rice and scallop crudo. The fried rice was nothing special, and I have had better experiences with simpler ingredients; the scallop crudo was overpowered by the other flavors, losing the taste of the scallop. The bossam was so moist and juicy, with fantastic natural flavoring, though the other components did enhance the flavor. I would only recommend the corn if you are a corn lover and none of the other appetizers appeal to you. The mushroom taco had a great combination of flavors and the spice kick was mild. If you're a dessert person, the bread pudding was delectable, great black sesame flavor and the bread was also moist.
Service was outstanding. We were originally seated next to a large party, and they later moved us to a table further away where it was quieter. There were many checkbacks throughout the evening, and they definitely make you feel like you are valued as a customer. I would recommend Gurumé for a fancy night out and people in your party can talk loudly.“

“We were in the city for 3 nights. I made reservations for the second and third nights. Left night one open. I found Saar online, it was less than a block from our hotel so we figured we'd give them a try. So glad we did. Nice place. Great, friendly service (Karim is the man!), and excellent food. I ended up cancelling the reservations I made for night 3 and we went back to Saar. Give them a try if you like Indian food. It was amazing!“
“A random search led me possibly to one of my new favorite cocktail lounges! I had less than two hours before my train and needed a spot near the station to meet a friend, somewhere intimate enough for good conversation. This was perfect.
We only had cocktails, but I asked the server for a gin recommendation similar to Hendrick’s from their “Made in NY” list — and he nailed it. Excellent drinks, great service, and a cozy vibe.
The food looked and smelled amazing too, even though we weren’t hungry this time.
Plus, any place that has a picture of a personalized matchbook on their socials will always move to the top of my list — it’s a scavenger hunt for the true New York foodie elites. iykyk.“

“As soon as my sister and i walked in, we sat down, and i took a look around and saw how beautiful the interior was. The waiter came and took our order and maybe 20-30 after the food arrived. I ordered the truffle polenta while my sister ordered a burger. The food was really good. After we got dessert. We both got the tiramisu. It was great. The total was about $100 dollars, including the tip. The restaurant is full during dinner, so i would recommend reserving a table.“

“Slightly under the radar, as they haven't made the top lists yet, is the local Experimental Cocktail Club in NYC's Flatiron district. Ever since I discovered the brilliant bartender Nathalie Derrieu in 2020 when she was working at Katana Kitten, I knew she was just getting started. And now that she's the head bartender at ECC and in charge of the entire menu, I can say I was right. She, the bar and the menu all have a charming French touch. From the hilariously named 80's martini with a delicious grilled olive and smoked olive oil, to Tarte Tatin which is an apple pie in a glass, to Milk Money which makes your brain explode. It looks like a failed chemistry experiment but still manages to taste like an Espresso Martini. Is she a witch? If we're around, we'll always stop by, and you should too. If you can find it…🍸😍“

“If you want an amazing taco, hit up The Hive for Taco Tuesday or any night!!! Simple and very tasty tacos at a very reasonable price. My favorite is the chicken and they are $3 a piece on Tuesday. They also have a beat the clock special for margaritas starting at 4:00. Jessica and Hamsel were super attentive and very friendly. Bar is clean and organized. It’s our favorite place to go for tacos, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!!!“
