“I walked into this small cafe without even thinking they had such a great variety of food… I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!!!!!! The pizza is fantastic, thin airy crispy crust … so delicious!!!

I ordered the drunken parm sandwich and it was made fresh, the breaded chicken was made right then not cold and frozen like other places.. they put the perfect amount of cheese and sauce .. it was crispy and not messy. The hero bread was delicious too! I cannot rave enough about this place!

“Very chill family owned and operated North Jersey tavern and steakhouse. It's cash-only, but there is an ATM up front near the bar. The burgers and steaks are the main attraction, but there are plenty of seafood and poultry options that are delicious. They have a full bar with beer, wine, and cocktail specials (and a good variety of each). Service is friendly and your meal will likely be cooked and/or served by the the owning family.“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“Girls' dinner! This spot was definitely a hit, from the ambiance to the service and, of course, the delicious food. We started off with a glass of rosé and a spicy margarita, followed by the shrimp scampi and beef empanadas our waiter recommended, both were incredible and a must. For our main dish, we decided to share the roasted chicken with squash, and let me just say, it was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and absolutely mouthwatering with every bite. To finish things off, we had warm chocolate chip cookies served with soft serve, the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Truly one of my favorite dinners in New York, I'll definitely be coming back soon!“

“A chic and unique wine bar featuring chocolate pairing.
Don't let the name fool you - there's also quite a bit to eat here...

We actually came for a night cap - had the must-have chocolate martinis, hazelnut and raspberry, both were delicious.
We also had a cheese platter and a fondue eith fruit, marshmallows and rice crispies.

While the cocktails were stellar - the rest was rather forgettable.
But it does feel like the unique combination of chocolate and wine should be enjoyed here.

All in all, a very recommended place for the lovers of both wine and chocolate.“

“Great food, great atmosphere, and fast service! We had a large party of 10 people and every one of us thought our meals were absolutely delicious! We had a variety of meals, from salads and vegetarian/gluten free tacos, to surf and turf and chicken sandwiches. Everything was delicious! The wait staff were attentive, friendly, and continued to check on us frequently throughout our meal. We highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Florentin, a Mediterranean gem on Amsterdam Avenue, understands something essential: that hunger is both physical and aesthetic. Florentin offers the kind of Mediterranean cooking that makes you remember why we gather around tables in the first place.

The Florentin salad arrives like a small rebellion against November chill. The light green shishito peppers—prepared in some novel way the kitchen won’t quite reveal—manage to be both familiar and different. The sea bass is respectfully handled. The steak frites is what steak frites aspires to be in its dreams.

Service here operates with a quiet competence that’s increasingly rare. The staff listens.

I suggested they consider live music—a jazz singer, perhaps someone with Juliet Ewing’s smoky presence. The waitress seemed receptive. Every restaurant is a work in progress, after all. We build our pleasures incrementally, adjusting as we go.

“One of the best meals I’ve had in Bergen County. A really elevated dining experience with nice options at every course. The focaccia was great to start with, every single salad was fantastic, I loved the pork Milanese, but the homemade gnocchi was incredible.

Lemon tart to finish was balanced and elegant.

“What a great first trip to Martha's for dinner. Loved the location near Pier 13 and nice modern vibe inside. Good friendly service all around. Had a first class expresso Martini from thr bar. I got the sausage fusilli entree which was amazing. Flavorful and the pasta was perfect. Highly recommend!“

“Had dinner there for the second time on Saturday night! It was very memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the eggplant with the Barata for an appetizer. It was so delicious and so tasty and my main course was the homemade linguine with lump crab and corn. We also got the meatball which was spectacular and then I got the cheesecake dessert which was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely love love love this place. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again.“

“Delicious! We had an amazing experience here as a party of 7 (4 kids, 3 adults) to celebrate my dad's birthday. The meats (I had the pork chop, my dad the vineyard chicken) were cooked to perfection....juicy and tender. My favorite part was that the kids meals came with green beans! Finally, something other than a beige kids menu. And no chicken fingers. My kids were forced to diversify, and they loved every bite. They had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and burger. “Came here for the first time last weekend, and was blown away. Definitely one of the best spots to eat in bergen county. The space is so well decorated down to every detail, and it is the best mix of cozy and elegant. The service was also top notch. The food was the highlight as it should be. Oysters, polenta fries, and the unique arancini were all excellent. For entree I had the free bird chicken which was excellent. Couldn't reccomend enough.“

The food menu was equally impressive in its diversity and variety.

The tuna salad was refreshing, a strong sesame oil flavour, with the tuna goes perfectly.

The Jambalaya was great, very filling, a bit on the heavy side. Loved the strength of those blackened shrimp.

The orange chicken was a tad on the sweet side for me, but a nice addition. Super crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside.

The firecracker shrimp also great, only not as crunchy as I would have liked, and not spicy at all for me.

I’m sure paired with the recommended beers, the meal would have been elevated.“

“Lunch 2 course special is a great deal at $25. They give you a lot of food. Charred eggplant dip was tasty. Wild mushroom risotto also tasty although I had to pick out the mushrooms for being too earthy and chewy. The other people in my party had mixed reviews of their food. While kind, our server left half way through service. They restaurants wasn't busy but we waited at least 45 minutes for food to come out. Servers weren't very attentive. The atmosphere is nice.“
