I recently hosted a business dinner here and after having hosted a number of them over the years... this, by far, was the most seamless process from beginning to end! I arrived about an hour and a half early because I wanted to ensure that the A/V was on point, since the speaker would be virtual. I received help right when I needed it, as I'm a bit technologically UNsavvy... The private room is perfect for this kind of need. The TV was very centered, no issues with volume, and every table allowed for a unobstructed view. Service was friendly and timely. Very well oiled machine... Food was good as usual. I tried the stuffed chicken, which was juicy and flavorful... mashed potatoes and creamed spinach went perfectly together. And the salad was fresh and delicious. If I ever need another venue for my business dinners, I will try to return to this exact location.“

The platter comes with 2 sides--I got the salad and the rice--both fantastic. I'm sure the fries (the other option) would have been just as good. The garlic dipping sauce is out of this world with such great flavor. The restaurant was not crowded, so the waiter only had 2 tables, so the service was pretty good. The mint iced tea was also light and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy authentic, fresh, deliciously prepared Lebanese food. A+. Reasonably priced and really hits the spot! I'll be coming back for more!!“

“Have been there twice, once as 2-person party and the other time as a 10-pac. Really good service and very authentic food both times. Quality of food is consistently good. Their sauerkraut fish soup is unique as not only the fish itself, but also the soup is really good too. Also their Yunnan-style copper pot rice noodle is so authentic with large portions, very impressive even to Yunnan natives.“

“Tiki Mojito- Excellent service and delicious food. Daniel was very attentive and courteous. Our fried pork and yucca appetizer was tender and delicious! The ox tail plate was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Drinks were as ordered and well mixed. I recommend you all give it a try.“

My server even brought me the wrong food one time, and it was soooo good that I hadn't even noticed until halfway through my meal! My friends and I are always happy to see her and hope that she’s our server. We always sit in the bar area because we know our experience will be a good one. “We were for a long time looking again for a good French restaurant, after the change of ownership at the chefs table in Franklin Lakes. Chez Catherine was excellent in every aspect. Food, ambiance and absolut outstanding service. We recommend it to everybody who appreciates French cuisine. The restaurant is small, may be 10 tables, but that's what we like. The menu is great, but only a number of options, which is a guarantee that the dishes are really prepared fresh. The waiter was way more than what you are used too, he knows all about the food, what wine goes with what, at the end I had a half ounce cognac (not cheap) but really a amazingly smooth and tasty. We are already thinking about when to go there next time, even though it's more than an hour drive for us, but absolutely worth it.“

They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! We had spectacular service in this beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It was quite a special evening!“
