“Just Sandwiches is the perfect spot to grab a sandwich for lunch. I'll be completely honest, I always get the exact same sandwich and it's a modification of one of their wraps, but it's ALWAYS good. Their food is consistent and the staff are friendly. The fried eggplant is always fresh and crispy - not a soggy mess.They also have some chips, snacks, and drinks inside.During COVID, they follow all of the safety procedures, keep and clean shop, and we have felt absolutely safe getting take out and continuing to support them.“

“I was casually walking down rainbow road when Mario, Donkey Kong and Shy guy grabbed me and brought me to this Subway. A guy whose name I think was maneater told me I had to eat 100 cookies or else Donkey Kong would turn me into a banana. I said ok and began this grueling challenge. I started chowing down on the cookies and when I reached the halfway point Machoman told me that the rest of the cookies would be footlong cookies, I said "radical" and continued. I was enjoying the last two cookies when all of a sudden Rick Grimes and superman walked in and blew up Donkey Kong, Mario and Shy guy and told me the walkers were coming and I had to leave. I said goodbye to Magic Mixing Machine and he said that wherever I go I could just reach into my pocket and pull out a free footlong cookie.10/10 would recommend, if you survive the walkers roaming around.“

“Hey I live in McGinley Square, in Jersey City and the local Subway sandwich shop is just a block away, but Super Hero Sub Shop blows Subway out of the water! The bread is always soft, fresh, tasty and their meats are NOT processed, but cooked/roasted whole and you taste the seasonings in the meat beautifully! I just got a Medium size hot roast beef, with Muenster cheese, onions and mayo and it is DELICIOUS. I wish they stayed open past 4pm but they truly are a lunchtime treat! Highly recommend!“

The inside of the store looks exactly the same as it did 30 years ago when my dad used to bring me here and the quality and cleanliness has remained the same. I've spoken with the owner a few times and he said he still uses the "Blimpie" bread and the same condiments. Also, the sandwiches are made as quickly as you finish saying what you ordered! “If you want old school Italian, this is the place for you. My family heard about the Belmont Tavern and decided to drive 40 minutes to check this place out. We arrived early on a Friday night, around 5:45PM. It is in a little bit of a rough area and finding parking on the street can be a challenge. The interior does not look like it's changed since it opened. Red and white checkered table cloths, wood paneled walls, and even a phone booth that lights up when you shut the door! All of the customers are all locals. The Tavern is known for their Shrimp Beeps and Chicken Savoy. My recommendation is the Shrimp Beeps over spaghetti. If you order more than one serving, it is served family style. Some of my family members ordered the Chicken Murphy and Chicken Savoy which are more like chicken parts rather than chicken breast. They both thought it was on the dry side. The service is good although we did feel a bit rushed since it was getting busy.“
