“Stone and Rail has become a second home to me and my friends. From date nights to Sunday Football watch parties, it's the ultimate experience no matter the event. Me and my friends from the Northern New Jersey Buffalo Bills Backers are extremely grateful we landed here to watch our weekly games. They have gone out of their way to make every weekend more enjoyable than the last with accommodating the volume of guest we have visiting in, allowing us to play our music and SHOUT song, curating a Special Bills menu and joining us in on the celebration. Their cocktails are creative and their food is delicious, my favorite being the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich, fried pickles and espresso martinis. Their outdoor seating with a beautiful fire pit and TV's to watch outside is the best addition. The owner, manager and staff are so kind and I love how much they enjoy the games as much as we do. I highly recommend this spot not just for the sports aspect, but for a night out with your friends or loved ones. Extremely family/kid friendly and spacious. “Stop the presses!! I found a great new restaurant where artistry trumps slinging hash. It’s Pop Empanada, re-christened Pop Pasta Supper Club on Thursdays and Saturday nights. On those days, Chef Nicolas Pescatore prepares a 6 course meal, and even if you don’t like every course, you will appreciate the artistry and the ambition. Tonight, the courses were 1. celery avocado salad (replacing salmon, which this landlubber doesn’t like), 2. shrimp empanada in a butter curry sauce, 3. pork belly confit, 4. raviolo-soft boiled egg center in a brown butter sage sauce, 5. brisket ragu paccheri pasta, and 6. dessert of frangelica panna cotta key lime shortbread crumble. The cost with tip is around $100 per person plus the cost of your BYOB. We wouldn’t pay that cost often, but it’s a welcome break from the restaurants where kitchen staff show up at 4 PM and are ready to serve at 5pm.“

“We had a surprise 30th Bday for my son at Bolero on Sunday, November 30th. Montana helped us with our scheduling and planning. She was awesome! The upstairs room is a perfect place to have a party. The vibe is so cool and the room is just perfect for a big party. Our bartender was Amanda, who was terrific! She was there to help carry all the heavy stuff up the stairs and made my guests feel welcome. We love her! Thanks to everyone at Bolero, who made this day so special! Can't wait to go back!“

“Was looking for Mediterranean food for my wife and I on a casual evening out and we were not disappointed. Super friendly/helpful staff, wonderful atmosphere, and a wonderful selection of food. My wife and I got a bowl and we both loved it. If you are looking for a counter style Mediterranean place to eat this is a fantastic choice! All the food is made fresh. My wife ordered pita chips and falafel on the side and both were made fresh when we ordered. The pita chips were thick and super crispy. The falafel was incredibly moist too. Highly recommend!“

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

The location is where the old 21 used to be, on the top floor of the Son Jjajang building. Great happy hour everyday 4-8!! It's a steal considering how good the food is. Happy hour all types of soju are $8.99 and beers are cheap too. All the big dishes on the happy hour menu are between $14-$18 and I think the portion sizes are the same! I have yet to try something that I don't love on the menu. Their: Cheese buldak (fire chicken w/ mozzarella cheese.. ask for medium spicy if you can't do heat!) Jogae sujebi (Korean version of.. gnocchi? in clam broth..I always order another side of sujebi) Donkatsu (breaded & fried pork cutlet) Tofu & kimchi Ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes... I usually ask for cheese on this also lol) Tong dak (whole fried chicken) Gaeran mari (Korean cheese omlette w/ fried garlic on top) Budae jjigae (Korean army soup, goes great with soju!) and weirdly enough their giant plate of FRIES (idk what they do to those fries they're just fries but they're so good lol) are among some of my favorites. However, the food tends to be on the spicier side which isn't an issue for me, but if you can't handle too much spice be sure to tell your waiter. I can't say enough about how good the food is. The chef apparently refuses to use anything but the best ingredients and it shows in the taste of the food. Portions are big too! Obviously I eat here a lot... lol Oh and the servers and manager are all so nice!! One time we had a big party of 10 but they didn't have space so they put us in their only karaoke room in the back. We wanted to watch the US Open but we couldn't figure out the TV in the room so the manager found an HDMI cable and hooked his own cellphone up to it so we could watch. How sweet?!! At the moment they only serve soju and beer but I have been told that they will start offering liquor soon :) Like I said, I don't want this place to get crowded but they deserve the business with food and service like this. I hope they stick around and become a new staple in Pal Park! PS. The menu is entirely in Korean so bring a friend who is fluent or ask the waiters for suggestions! I will definitely have to mention to them that they should make an English version of their menu. Will be back with pictures later!“

“Great food with great service from happy people. Our waitress was so nice and attentive to our group. My niece casually mentioned she liked the ice (to chew on) and the waitress somehow overheard this and brought her a glass of ice. When she said she wished she could take it with her the nice lady reappeared with a plastic cup of ice to go. The whole evening was like that, almost like being in a family kitchen.“

“First time I had Indian food was a few years ago in NC, and I was NOT impressed. We were up visiting my sister in Ridgewood and we went out for fathers day dinner at Tabla. We ordered a bunch of different appetizers and entrees and we shared them all. I was absolutely impressed. I totally enjoyed EVERY item. I especially liked the curry fish with coconut milk. They started as a single food cart in Queens back in 2005, and now they’ve grown into a 100% Halal-certified international brand with 120+ locations and it’s easy to see why. Their food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with humanely sourced meats and crisp veggies.

The menu has something for everyone: platters, gyros, burgers, salads, and even vegan options. And of course, the legendary white sauce… it’s a must. I always ask for extra because it truly makes every bite better.

I wanted my husband who’s from Baltimore to try zeppole, he’s never heard of it and for me, growing up in Bk and Staten Island it was one of my childhood favs. They didn’t have any made when I asked about it which was fine but while I was in conversation with their delivery driver the owner came out with some. He actually went out of his way to make me some zeppole, and it was delicious and extremely nostalgic for me. He has no idea how that made my day and brought back so many memories to me. We have ordered from them twice so far and their food is second to none. You can taste their passion for food. My husband ordered the Chicken Napolitano both times and said it was out of this world delicious. My son ordered Rigatoni with Vodka sauce and practically licked his plate clean!! I ordered Chicken Marsala and Chicken Sorrentino and it was one of the best I have ever had. Yes this is coming from a Jersey Italian whose family once owned a restaurant in Newark so my standards are very high. “Adorable little cafe tucked into the side of a gym so it’s a little difficult to find. Their menu is fun and the staff is SO friendly and sweet, however the coffee was a little off for me. I got a blueberry latte when I visited and the espresso didn’t taste exactly right or strong enough and you couldn’t really taste the blueberry at all. Maybe adjusting the recipe might help? Their chocolate croissants are probably the best I’ve ever had though and are from a local baker I was told! All in all it’s a cozy little spot to go to!“
