“I recently visited food street at Secaucus and had an amazing experience. Despite the menu being on smaller side, everything that we tried was delicious.I went with their signature Hangry beef Burger and it did not disappoint. The patty was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and tender.
The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better.

“Don't underestimate this place. I've been to 5 star restaurants and in my opinion this eatery shares some of the same qualities that I admire in upscale restaurants: consistency and deliciousness.

The people behind the register are friendly but quiet. I go here during week when I want something that is fresh and high in protein. They provide you with generous portions so if you workout and need a solid amount of protein and carbs this is my favorite in the area. I enjoy eating here more than Chipotle, higher quality meat with bolder flavors and they serve uniform portions of chicken. They don't cut corners here.

The chicken platter is my favorite and I highly recommend it to people wanting to try something new. With the chicken platter I enjoy the fresh zesty flavors of onions, tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and tzatziki sauce on the side. I recommend ordering an extra sauce with your order. WIth the colder months I'd also recommend the their lentil soup. It was really tasty!

Side note: I don't recommend the cheese burger. It's not their specialty. Stick with the chicken platter.“

“I grew up in NYC so I’m no stranger to halal carts. Since I’ve moved to JC (which I know is only across the river, but the food scene really is different), I have yet to find my go-to halal spot… until now! I paid $10 for a chicken over rice. “I was craving some classic New York-style Halal Guys cart food for dinner on a weekday night, and a quick Google search led me to this gem in Hoboken. The reviews were glowing—and after trying it myself, I can say they were absolutely spot on.

There was already a small line (3–4 people) when I got there, which was a good sign. I went for the classic: meat over rice. The beef steak was thinly sliced, perfectly grilled, and packed with smoky, bold flavors. The yellow rice was aromatic and tasty, pairing beautifully with the meat. Another highlight was the freshness of the salad on the side—crisp lettuce, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes—all super fresh and refreshing. Overall, the portion size was huge. I couldn’t even finish it in one sitting.

Overall, this place checks all the boxes: affordable, fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area. Highly recommend!“

“THIS PLACE IS AWESOME !!!! I came from Canada and wanted to try something other than Halal Guys. This place blows them out of the water. Ordered:

1) Chicken Platter - AWESOME !!!! Portion was good and flavor was sooooooo good

2) Philly Cheese Steak - OMG !!!! The hero/sub was sooo good that it is a "must have"

3) Mixed Gyro - ALHUMDULLIAH !!!! The Sandwich / Pita was so packed that it took time to eat and I enjoyed every bite.

4) The Big Ash Chicken - MASHALLAH !!! The taste was sooo good that I wish I had more.

Anyone that follows me, this place has to be on your list of MUST TRY.

I got the original chicken with rice platters and one chicken mix gyro wrap. Excellent and momma is really hard to please. We’re transplants from NYC and with NYC being at the top of the dining out / take home capital it is tough for many States and counties to compete with the flavor and cooking styles easily found in NYC just around every corner.

OMGRYRO easily hits all the marks with the exception of the Jerk Chicken. Jerk Chicken flavor profile is no bueno in my humble opinion and that is because it doesn’t come close to tasting like jerk seasoning and can’t compare to true jerk style flavor.

Everything else is we ordered and devoured tasted great, high on flavor with decent portion sizes.

Hope they put the Jerk Season flavor to the chicken NYC style.“

“Me and my family decide to have a late lunch here after seeing the advertisement and reviews on instagram. We loved the food! The atmosphere and service was amazing. Finally, we have a Mediterranean place close to home. You have to come try this place and by the way they have an outdoor in the back where you can have hookah for those who are interested.“

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“I ordered takeout from Kulchay recently and had a positive experience. The woman working there was incredibly friendly and helpful while I waited. I tried their signature naanizza which is a fusion of naan and pizza. Both the chicken tikka and super supreme naanizzas were delicious. Even though I got stuck in traffic and had to reheat them at home, they still tasted great although I imagine they would be even better fresh out of the oven. I also tried the halwa naan for dessert which was decent but not something I would order again. “Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“

I’ve been living in the U.S. for 16 years, and the thing I’ve missed and loved the most is lahmacun. After trying it at PIDDE, I’ve never had lahmacun anywhere else again. At other places I’ve tried over the years, I always experienced heartburn afterward — but never at PIDDE.
