“The BEST sushi place in town! The sushi is always fresh, delicious, and incredibly consistent in both quality and flavor. The service is wonderful, the gentleman at the register always remembers our usual order and greets us with a smile. He even surprises us with a snack every now and then, which is such a thoughtful touch. It’s also super affordable. No complaints here! I’m always happy to support them as a regular customer. :)“

“I thought I liked sushi before, I had no idea how much I loved authentic sushi until DomoDomo. The salmon tataki is delicious, the Spicy Tuna Cones are an absolute must (you’ll thank me) and the desserts are a fusion of tastes I haven’t before had but now must have again. Leo is the best server, these dishes were his idea. Thank you for an amazing night DomoDomo!“

I also got the green salad with ginger dressing, which tasted so fresh and flavorful. The shrimp shumai were honestly addictive. They also included veggie gyoza and miso soup on the house, and both were delicious as well. Everything tasted fresh and well made, and I will definitely be returning to Kame Sushi.“

“We highly recommend ICCA Sushi, always fresh, delicious and worth every cent. This is a BYOB restaurant if you’re interested in eating in. I usually pick up. In the past during COVID they use to deliver. I am not sure if they do now. Absolutely, incredible! You can go for lunch and dinner if you want!“

But wait was worth it food was fresh, homemade and delicious, attention it’s def a 1000/10 you feel that you’re in your home, my 5yo daughter mentioned that she was being treated like her grandma treat her (so you can have an idea of how good they were) well, not many words to add.

“Ordered via GrubHub for a late Friday night dinner when the sushi craving hit. I ordered a tuna bowl, and hubby had a salmon bowl. All of the sushi bar bowls come with edamame, miso soup, seaweed salad, kani salad, regular salad (in this case, it was arugula), and avocado. The fish came in huge chunks, lightly marinaded, and tasted fresh. No complaints. I’d order again and try some actual rolls next time. I saw on their menu a pretty good deal for lunch - $12.50 for three regular rolls, so I’ll have to check that out.“

“I love going here for my sushi! Probably the best spot in Bayonne I know so far. The tempura rolls always taste fresh and crunchy. The only thing I wish they had was more seating but I see it as a pick up spot. They also have a lot of Japanese snacks and deserts to try out.“

“Sushi and food is pretty good overall but the service at this place is really hit or miss. There are two (I believe) revolving servers/people who answer the phone. The younger server is very polite and friendly. However the other is incredibly rude, on the phone, and in person. I ordered from this place very often in the past but I will no longer be ordering from here. His attitude makes it not worth it for me. Overall if you’re just looking for good sushi this place is fine, but don’t expect good service.“

“Went here for the first time with my son and I am so glad we found this gem! When you step inside, you’re walking into a peaceful oasis filled with natural light, plants, and beautiful decor. You can dine in or take out. The sushi was so fresh and delicious! We also ordered fried dumplings and shrimp shumai. They have an awesome grocery section to the side where you can buy many Japanese snacks and ramen, as well as mochi. The service was fantastic and the owner is so kind. An absolute must go-to!!“

“Wow wow wow! Our server was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was DELICIOUS. We were trying this place for the first time after our usual spot was closed for the holiday and we loved it. The dessert was also very delicious :) One thing we loved was the pleasant spiciness from the spicy mayo, it had a kick that made you want to eat more. We will definitely be returning customers! “Hands down the best sushi in the entire Kearny area — nothing else even comes close.
We always ordered their sushi and sashimi deluxe and always blown away by how fresh, clean, and beautifully prepared everything was. The quality is always incredibly consistent — every single time we order from them, the fish is top-notch and the flavors and freshness are perfect. Even the miso soup that came with the sushi is great too.
Their service is also fast, friendly, and reliable.
We always finish our meal feeling satisfied, grateful, and impressed. They only offer take outs which is always readily available by the time we got there.
If I could give them 100 stars, I truly would.

“Efficiency could be better. Please can you consider having two separate lines for poke and sushi/maki? Why am I standing in a 20 minute line for people to make bowls when I just want a roll. There’s no way it doesn’t impact the sales (from folks walking out of crowded lines).“
