“Family owned. The owner (I believe that’s who served me) is such a nice guy. I got the immunity juice and chicken Cesar wrap and both were fresh and delicious. I ate all of it up! Juice was a big quantity! I saved some for the next day and it was still great. Highly recommend this place. I called for pick up and it was ready in time. Fast service. Sweet man. “Hasbrouck Heights pizza is an excellent place. Their pasta dishes are amazing as are their chicken and eggplant. Love the margarita pizza. Delivery is quick the people on the phone are nice. We order at least twice a week. I only have one comment that’s a little negative. I view times I ordered and didn’t receive the correct item I asked for. To mention a few: On one occasion I ordered Broccoli and pasta. I asked if I could have broccoli rabe instead and was told no problem. That didn’t happen. This happened twice. On another occasion I ordered eggplant Rolatini but received eggplant para. Not terrible but not the right order. Today 8/10 I ordered a Cold sandwich Roast Beef club with bacon and L/T. But I received a Hot roast beef sandwich instead which I don’t love. The person on the phone repeated to me what I ordered she said Roast Beef Club. I usually order late when I come home from work. So only a few times I called back to get the right order. I can’t wait another 45 minutes for the correct order. I don’t know if it’s the person taking the order pushing the wrong item or the people cooking not making the ordered items. My delivery bill says Hot Roast Beef which I would never order. Would never had mentioned.“

“Came for a dinner with a medium sized group. The vibes of the place are so cozy and old-timey and it definitely is a unique spot! Service was good, and the owner was very nice. The food was good. Nothing blew us away. The sausage and broccoli Rabe was okay, the chicken crdonbleu was pretty good, and the lamb was a highlight, and the gnocchi was made well. Overall, a good spot, and the food was above average.“

“Was randomly craving takeout tonight and decided to try this place. Takeout can be so hit-or-miss, and even as I was ordering I felt half prepared for a stomach ache afterwards—but I was so wrong and I’m honestly still surprised about it! I don’t think I’ve ever had fresher Chinese food in my life. It’s rare for me to write a review and I feel kind of silly but I appreciated my meal so much that now I gotta talk about it I guess! ?I got steamed dumplings and the sesame chicken, nothing fancy. But it was delicious and all of it tasted so clean and fresh—not greasy, oily, or too salty. The rice was perfectly steamed too, not wet and mushy and not dry. I ordered on Uber Eats not realizing how far away they are from where I live, but it was worth the delivery time and wasn’t too long of a wait. Everything was still warm too. If you’re on the fence because of their Google rating, just know that on Uber Eats they have a 4.8 rating with 100+ reviews. A great find, and I’m grateful. ☺️“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“Ordered a pepperoni and the truffle cashew cream. I enjoyed the truffle pizza more. Ordered via UberEATS and unfortunately the delivery guy put my pizza in a backpack vertically. This of course made the pizza look like a mess. Still good though.“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! “Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! “I typically avoid writing restaurant critiques, given my years of experience in the industry. However, my recent visit to Gramercy Tavern compelled me to share my thoughts due to the disappointing experience. I was excited to dine at the bar after waiting half an hour for a seat. I ordered my usual drink, appetizer, and main dish, knowing the restaurant’s reputation for excellence. However, things took a turn when I stepped away to use the restroom. During that brief moment, my belongings—two bags—were removed and given to the coat check staff without my knowledge. When I returned, I was unceremoniously escorted to the exit, which left me confused and uncomfortable. At the reception, I tried to express my concerns, but the staff was dismissive. I requested to speak with a manager, but the coat check attendant firmly stated there was nothing to discuss and closed the door in my face. This treatment was not only unprofessional but also disheartening, especially after spending $145 on my meal. It’s unfortunate that a great dining experience was overshadowed by poor service and a lack of accountability. I hope the management reviews this situation to prevent it from happening to others in the future.“

“Because of the many options, it was very hard to decide. We had the Philadelphia Roll (not on the pics), Chefs choice Roll, Sweet BBQ pork bun and pancake combo. The kimchi pancakes were labelled spicy, but really are not! We liked everything, the least the Chefs choice Roll. The sizes were as expected, but for lunch fine. Really nice staff, and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended (but pricy).“

“I have to say this restaurant was absolutely delicious!! So glad we tried the only Mexican Michelin star in New York!!!

We went here for our anniversary and were very pleased! Our reservation was for 9 and our table was ready exactly at that time.  Service was fantastic! Our waiter was really friendly and very knowledgeable about all the food items.  He answered all of our questions about flavors and portion sizes quite thoroughly which made our decisions easy!

Their tequila and mezcal varieties were very extensive and they had great cocktail options as well! For appetizers we decided to choose the smoked mangoes, tuna tostada, and the punta verde caesar.  All were so tasty and had such amazing flavor, we even ordered another tuna tostada!!  I would say we felt the mangoes were more of a snack/dessert and not an app but we were not mad about it at all because the smokiness they were able to get into the mangoes was amazing!

For the main course we went with the lamb and swordfish tacos (it comes with 2 each).  They are average sized, nothing too big or small especially since we ordered so many appetizers between the two of us!!  Both dishes were so flavorful!! I would highly recommend trying everything you have room for since the choices we made were bursting with so much flavor!

We chose the Oaxacan chocolate cake and the tres leches for dessert.  The cake and ice cream had a strong espresso flavor, maybe because I don't drink any coffee/espresso at all but it was still very tasty.

Overall this was a very affordable Michelin Star restaurant and we were extremely pleased with every aspect of our dining experience.  We would absolutely return to try more menu items and highly recommend paying them a visit if you are a fan of big, bold flavors!!

“My most anticipated stop in nyc as I found this place months ago on instagram and it greatly exceeded my expectations! Every dish was exceptional. I got there and immediately ordered the green mango salad. I was recommended the tasting option which meant I got served 3 smaller portions of dishes from the menu picked by the chef. Each one that came out was a surprise! The first delicious one was the clay pot glass noodles, the second was the massaman curry, and then the pad Thai. Each dish had their own beautiful flavors. I was also served the black sticky rice with mango and banana. The rice was warm and the fruit was so perfectly ripe it was absolutely divine, don’t skip this dessert. 100/10“
