“Came here on a Tuesday evening and I strongly suggest visiting this establishment! It boasts a charming and comfortable atmosphere, good music and great with attentive staff providing excellent customer service. I highly advise making a reservation; we arrived to find it empty, but within five minutes, it was bustling with people.“

“Another fantastic dinner at PS Kitchen. Highly recommend the Thai Chili wings, crabby cakes and Brussel Sprouts. Our table also had the Linguini Alfredo, Cesar wrap and the Thai Sweet Chili Sandwich. We didn’t like the pretzel bun but otherwise everything was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Staff are friendly and we did not feel rushed. Will definitely be coming again and highly recommend.“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“

“Even on limited time, I make it a priority to visit PLANTA whenever we're in the same city. I walked here from the Empire State Building, and it was bustling on a Saturday evening. I happily sat at the bar. FIRECRACKER ROLL This was on their April exclusive menu. Filled with Japanese sweet potato, avocado, unagi, and topped with gochujang mayo & chili salt. DELICIOUS! It deserves to be a staple menu item. TORCHED AND PRESSED One of my go-to menu items. This roll is so melt-in-your-mouth creamy. I drool every time. I even convinced some girls sitting at the bar to order this roll. BANG BANG BROCCOLI My numero uno go-to dish since I visited the SOBE location a few years ago. Will never not order this. Crunchy. Flavorful. Amazing in every way. As they were leaving, a couple asked me about this dish and I let them each have one floret. They were sold! (Not all PLANTAs have the same dishes, but luckily, two of my favs have been at all the ones I've visited: FL, CA, IL, & NY.) TRUFFLE RICE I tend to avoid the main dishes and stick with starters and sushi, but I wanted to try something different. Unfortunately, I should've followed my instincts. It had a nice flavor to it, but it was dry and the rice was overcooked. Disappointing. There was so much potential with the cumulation of ingredients. As a PLANTA Passport holder who doesn't live near a PLANTA, I was excited to be able to use my birthday reward - a free dessert! But they didn't have my fav available- the giant chocolate chip cookie, so I ended up passing on dessert. Service was great. As busy as he was, he kept my water glass filled. The worst part about my visit is that I rushed out to catch my Uber back to Brooklyn and left my leftovers on the counter. I may have shed a tear about it. Tip: there are outlets and hooks at the bar.“

“Amazing place! My brother and I are both vegan and have a ton of allergies and the wait staff was super accommodating. The food is spectacular too - I took 2 animal eaters and a vegetarian to the restaurant and they couldn't tell the difference between the kebabs and meat. We had the "chicken", "beef", and kofta kebabs, along with the "chicken" gyros, "lamb" cigars, and hummus. I was a big fan of all the kebabs, and thought the "chicken" gyros were amazing too. The desserts were also great - highly recommend.Vegetarian options: It's an entirely vegan restaurant.“

“Lunch at abcV is surprisingly good as we didn't expect the plant based food menu. I just wanted to grab some lunch with my wife. It was like stumbling into a secret society where the members wield spatulas instead of swords and are on a valiant quest to elevate plant-based eating from mere sustenance to an art form. They don't just serve food; they serve enlightenment on a platter, with a side of cosmic wisdom and a sprinkle of culinary wizardry. Imagine if a Zen garden and a high-end spa had a love child, and that love child decided to open a restaurant with high vibration foods, balance and beauty, wellness, wisdom, and love? So much love, I feel the urge to hug my waiter (consensually, of course) but my wife said no. It's all designed to nurture not just our personal ecosystems but the planetary one as well. Eating here, I can't help but feel like I'm saving the world, one bite at a time. And the food--it's like each dish has been kissed by Mother Nature herself, then sent to culinary school. Who knew vegetables could be this indulgent? I half-expected the broccoli to levitate off my plate, such was the level of enlightenment it apparently possessed. My wife and I shared a dish that I'm convinced had achieved nirvana, and for a moment, I saw the universe in a grain of quinoa. abcV is an experience that transcends the mere act of eating. It's a culinary journey that promises not just a meal but a shift in consciousness. I left with a newfound appreciation for the humble vegetable. And perhaps, just perhaps, a yearning to nurture my own personal and planetary ecosystem--with a bit more wisdom, love, and a dash of deliciousness.“

“Ever since Village Crown closed I have missed a truly satisfying kosher restaurant...and now that I am vegan the challenge is greater. I had a birthday celebration for a party of seven...on a rainy night the place was warm and welcoming. We put together a tasting menu and all of us were wowed. A "cheese platter" that a cheese lover would savor. Chewy mushroom calamari with a magical aioli, fried artichoke with the lightest coating, pizza from fig, to sausage to wild mudhrooms with a soft chewy crust and deceivingly realistic cheese; pastas from a delicious eggless porkless spagetti carbonara, "squid ink" ravioli that was a stunningly luscious mystery to me. These were the highlights of a memorable dining experience in a charming place.“

“Before I even lived in the neighborhood Jajaja was easily one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. I have brought so many friends here because it is perfect from anywhere to a date night to a chill lunch/dinner to catch up with friends. Their cocktails are amazing especially their version of an espresso martini. All of the staff is so friendly and always make sure you're taken care of at all times. On top of everything and most importantly the food is AMAZING. Although I am not vegan anymore, I still can call this my favorite restaurant because they do everything on their menu so well and it's rare in my experience where vegan food is indistinguishable from non-plant based food and my favorite is the enchiladas mole. Highly recommend!“

“Should not have so much onions in the food. My lunch box comes with 2 pan cakes of suck. I hated them. It's just flour with lots of onions. Most Buddhists don't eat onions and scallions. Salad was fresh. Ambiance good. Quiet with no music.“

“Update from last review- Unfortunately the service has been pretty bad. Service to me is a big part of the overall experience dining out. I have returned several times to give it a chance since the food is good. We always get one particular server Eli who is absolutely terrible and can use customer service training. To get a hello or even a smile is a stretch but worse forgets to bring out the food and by the time he does it’s cold. Today is the last time I’m will be coming here… hopefully the owner will put more attention to the service. Unfortunately, such a beautiful place but you will continue to loose customers if the service doesn’t improve.Old review—-An amazing spot! Vegan or not… you will enjoy! From the ambiance, energy, service and of course food!! James was such a great hosts… so welcoming. Went for brunch and can’t wait to try their dinner options. I’m vegan and it can be challenging finding a good restaurant. I don’t do reviews but had to for this restaurant.. what a gem!“

“Since our arrival the staff has been super friendly, and for those whose English is a problem, it is solved because everyone speaks Spanish. And the food is spectacular! The spaghetti with meatballs are tremendous, and the pizza is delicious and made with fresh products. The portions are very large and you will have leftover food, but they provide you with tupperware to take away. Highly recommended!“

“Easily one of my favorite al vegan spots in Manhattan (and there are plenty to chose from). Went for brunch with non-vegan friends and family and EVERYONE loved it - clean plate club all around. Highlight for me was easily the corn ribs. Don't pass on the churros either. Family loved the nachos. Great atmosphere too, vibey without the music blasting so you can actually have a nice conversation. Definitely one of my favorite spots to date.“

“Really beautiful space with lovely food and great service. I was expecting a bit more from the food tbh for the price (not sure what though because I have no real complaint but it wasn't spectacular other than the mixed fritter appetizer which was the best tempura I've ever had). All in all 4.5 stars.“

“Had an incredible dining experience at Spicy Moon in Bowery! Every dish was a hit, especially the rice noodles which were perfectly cooked, and the chili oil dumplings that had just the right amount of kick. The shiitake and tofu buns were delightful — soft, fluffy, and generously filled. “This place is, with out a doubt, the best Acai/Chia pudding place I have ever been to. On top of that, the chia pudding recipe tis shop is using is something distinctly different from other chia pudding I've had. It's blue, and tastes far more awesome than normal chia pudding.I accidentally discovered this little shop while visiting a friend near Montclair. I live in NYC - caught a train to Montclair Bay St station, and wandered up the block from there looking for some treats to share with friends.Jackpot.I don't live near Montclair, and this location is not convenient to me. However, I now go out of my way to visit this shop whenever I'm passing through the nearby train line.Worth it.If you (please) bring boomchia to downtown Brooklyn, I would eat there everyday. As it stands I'll have to settle for once a week.“

“Everything is as delicious as it sounds to be honest! Ran by Koreans, the taste reminds me of my mom’s food but restaurant level quality and aesthetics. They pack their to-go food like a cute little lunch box, a piece of fruit, and a brownie that’s deceptively yummy and chewy/fudgy. Their to/go hot teas are also SO nicely packed. I love their attention to quality in an amazing neighborhood hidden gem.“

“The service was a little slow but we had the whole restaurant to ourselves so no complaints - it was basically a quiet little oasis in the middle of this noisy city. Half of the menu is similar to the one at May Kaidee if you're familiar with that place, the other half is more "fruitarian" although I don't think they define fruitarian as a diet purely based on fruit. The influence is Thai-Indian. Nothing was overly oily or salty which is just what I hope for when I eat out. Portions could be slightly bigger. I'll be back to try more things!“

“Loved the impossible vegetarian burgers! They’re so warm and dense - very much a filling lunch! We also enjoyed the crispy fries but wish the portion size was larger. “A vegan friend invited me here for the first time, and I’ll continue to come here for lunch! The food is fresh and innovative, and feels like comfort food. Walk up to the counter, most of the options are dished up while you’re placing your order, some they grab from the kitchen. It’s quick and delicious. Staff is friendly. It’s also reasonably priced for such high quality food.“

“I really like a po-boy sandwich, but every time I eat one my brain goes, "these are arthropods, these are bugs." The Craw Pretzel Boy has convinced me I never need to eat an arthropod again. “I'm always on the hunt for good plant based food so imagine my delight when I came across another plant based Mexican restaurant while walking around in East Village. I was really impressed by how quickly we were sat and how quickly our first few plates came out. The standout for me were the nachos. Super hearty and satisfying. The empanadas and tacos were on the smaller side and came with 3 pieces which made it easy to share amongst our party of 3. While they were smaller than your average taco and empanadas, what was on the inside were fresh and flavorful veggies that filled us up regardless. I'm bookmarking this to come back and try more of their menu.“

“Joey No Nuts has been a longtime favorite of mine, as someone who was often concerned about the presence of nuts in coffee or other products from other bakeries, Joey No Nuts was a huge relief to find. Not only do they pride themselves on their allergy safe offerings, their service, food quality, and community involvement is unmatched in Hoboken. If you want Actually good coffee that is free from nut allergens, I cannot recommend this cafe more.Dietary restrictions: Joey No Nuts is nut-free, thus the absolutely excellent name of the cafe. “Imo the best vegetarian restaurant in the city. Great for celebrations like birthdays and getting together with a large group of friends - lighting / artwork has a cool vibe and they have a great cocktail selection. “The cookie was in between crunchy and too soft(still slight crunch/softness). Delicious (didn't seem too sweet) and enjoyed eating the orange on top. It had a sort of dough texture(which is the middle circle) and is visible when bitten..“

“Delectable vegan restaurant near Union Square! It was teeming with lunch diners on a chilly April weekend. My friend and I shared chickpea fries, calamari, chicken tenders, peanut sauce wontons, and a chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Our favorite dish was the calamari. The tea we ordered was OK, milk was not really needed imo. The servers were all polite and attentive. I think we would have sat longer to chat, but we needed to walk off our filling lunch afterward!“

“As soon as I heard about this place I knew I had to try it. The concept is incredibly simple- I'm not entirely clear on how they are using AI and robotics to make everything happen- but you place an order online, you get a notification when it will be ready, and then the notification directs you to a little cubby/locker where you pick your food up. This place has limited hours and is geared towards to go orders (there's a bar to stand and eat at, but no seating, no restroom either) and is also clearly for the office lunch crowd. It's great vegan food though for those who want something to bring back with them or just for a quick bite. I had the crispy chicken burger and it was excellent, definitely some of the best vegan fast food I have had in a long time. I wish the burger was customizable (I don't like pickles for example) but things you don't like are easy enough to remove. I also wish the menu had a description of what was in each meal although most of it is pretty basic and self explanatory. There was someone there who was present for ordering issues, explaining what's in the different options, and just to make sure everything was going as it should. Despite a few things that could be tweaked overall I think this place is a great concept and I hope it lasts and they can open more.“

“Coming to this juice press actually makes my day every day. Gregory (who I believe is the manager) is the kindest man and provides such great service. I love juice press for its great selection of healthy food, but even more so for the hospitality coming from Gregory and the staff at this location. They are always smiling, helpful, and pleasant. I never want to get lunch anywhere else! I have sampled some off the menu flavors (chocolate mousse, peanut butter and jelly that are SO GOOD I hope they become actual menu items). It just really makes a difference grabbing lunch a few times a week and knowing you will come in to a warm welcome and positive atmosphere rather than other places where you are barely even greeted and trying to get you in and out as quick as possible. Love the staff, love the service, love the food!Dietary restrictions: Only place I have ever found that has organic, no added sugar, gluten free, and dairy free options. “Surprised by this vegan omakase place. The highlights of the tasting for me was the Watermelon Nigiri and the mushroom dashi soup. “Had them at The Bergen Zoo when they were running a special event. The ladies were very nice, and the food was great.Purchased the Rio Grande and it had an ingredient not enlisted (by accident) which would have caused a severe allergy (my wife). They quickly apologized, refunded my money, gave me a free a sandwich and a free drink. They were so apologetic, and sincere. Now whenever we are in Paramus, we will stop by this place for a bite to eat.“
