“We had a family dinner at Rockin Roots as the kick off to an event filled weekend. We wanted something more casual and fun with an elevated twist. We worked with Mike and he came up with a perfect menu to make our picky kids and adult foodies happy. When we arrived the table was set and delicious appetizers were ready to go!! They were followed by a delicious meal of chicken, salmon and awesome sides. Everyone had a great time and raved about the food.“

“This place isn't fancy at all. It is located inside an office building with a large window that overlooks the Fairleigh Dickinson University Hackensack campus. They serve absolutely delicious, mouth watering kosher dairy Mexican light foods and American style breakfast foods and salads. We've had many of the menu options and everything has been very good. Unfortunately, they close at 4PM Sunday through Friday (closed Saturdays and Jewish holidays) but it's worth hurrying there for an early dinner because the food is so consistently good. (The Oaxaca sopes are out of this world😋!) It's under the reliable hechsher of the RCBC (Rabbinical Council of Bergen County) and a mashgiach is on premises. The wait staff are all pleasant and helpful. It's a small place, so I'd recommend calling in advance for more than eight people. There is abundant parking on the street or in the parking lot across the street from the building. This is a handicap accessible venue.“

I don't go anywhere else from the comfortable seating and the nicely cooled lounge and a place outside if you're a smoker. Wide assortment of coffees and teas and adults beverages. “See ya Sook! Bourbon Street Beignet is now my favorite local pastry shop. Born in New Orleans (Charity Hospital-1952) and lived in Paris for a few years as a teenager. Jules does a great job with all his pastries. The beignets were warm, fresh and tasty and on par with Cafe du Monde in NOLA. Will be coming here again.......soon!“

“I had such a lovely experience at Blue Ridge! One of the owners, Denisse, took care of me and was incredibly warm and welcoming. She shared that it’s a family-owned business, which makes the atmosphere feel even more special.

I tried the iced latte, made with excellent-quality coffee, as well as the chocolate chip banana muffin and the chocolate cake. Both were absolutely delicious, gluten-free, and baked by Denisse herself. The shop is spotless, conveniently located, and clearly run with a lot of care. I highly recommend it!“

Proper flavours, generous portions, beautifully presented but not so fussy that you can't just dive in. We shared a starter, had a main each, and finished with a dessert we absolutely shouldn't have had room for but somehow found space. Every plate was a winner. The wine was poured with proper care and the bill came at exactly the right moment, not before, not too long after. It was honest and very fair for the experience. We left feeling properly restored. The food is rich in flavor, plated like Gordon Ramsay is waiting with a camera crew, and very family friendly. I have a 4 year old and 2.5 year old, and it was so easy with them. There's a huge lawn for them to expend energy and it's in a very quiet little enclosure so it's very safe. The staff are very nice - like they could easily be kindergarten teachers. Definitely adding this spot into my weekly ventures. I almost didn't even wanna leave the review so it remains a hidden gem but they deserve all the business and then some. Thank you!“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

“Just had brunch at White Maple Cafe. This place has such a beautiful, cozy atmosphere, in the middle of the lovely town of Ridgewood. We had the chicken wings, short rib benedict, and sandwiches. All the food is extremely high quality, delicious, and tastes like it was made with love! The owner Maryam is the most kind, welcoming, and caring host, as well as a great barista! I highly recommend this place for any occasion. Support this business - they deserve all the love!“
