“We had a family dinner at Rockin Roots as the kick off to an event filled weekend. We wanted something more casual and fun with an elevated twist. We worked with Mike and he came up with a perfect menu to make our picky kids and adult foodies happy. When we arrived the table was set and delicious appetizers were ready to go!! They were followed by a delicious meal of chicken, salmon and awesome sides. Everyone had a great time and raved about the food.“

The cafe itself is beautifully decorated with flowers, creating such a warm and peaceful atmosphere. We also had the privilege of hearing the owner’s family story. Although it began with sadness, they chose hope, love, and resilience, turning it into something truly beautiful and inspiring.

As their sign says, “You come in as a guest, but you leave as family.” That’s exactly how we felt. We walked in as customers, but we left feeling like family.

“My first time trying them was amazing, my aunt, cousins along with myself did a coffee tasting there and everything was great!! I had the FFF (Triple F) with a HEC on brioche 🔥! Service was exceptional as well, definitely a comeback whenever I’m in NJ again“

“Wow! Heard great things about Double Bubble and finally was able to make it there today! The window and the fun floaties outside got all four of our kids so excited! The interior was so fun! Little and big rubber ducks everywhere, fun seats that looked like desserts for kids to sit on, some table top games...and of course we were greeted by the owner himself, Tony! We ordered the bubble waffles with ice cream and toppings, brownies and adults had lattes and probably the best espresso I ever had....BROWN SUGAR SHAKEN ESPRESSO (I asked for almond milk). I don't normally like sugar in my coffee, but this was absolutely the best espresso I honestly ever had. It was such a kid and family friendly spot and the perfect ending to our lunch!

“Great customer service. The people who work there are knowledgeable and they have the best stock of bikes around. At 5’1” no one ever has bikes in my size. Not only did Piermont have a bike, they had 4 for me to test. Sunny also told me the size I originally thought I needed was too big and his recommendation for the smaller frame was spot on. I ended up with a 44 cm Cannondale Evo and couldn’t be happier.“

“Lifelong Palisades resident, and have loved the 9W Market/The Filling Station since it opened back in 2011! A HUGE improvement over the previous ownership when it was called the Palisades Market which opened in the spring of 2010 and was only open for a few months and then closed. I was so disappointed with the Palisades Market because it lacked a decent food selection and this community needed something so much more. Luckily, the owners of the 9W Market have done such an amazing job! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The ingredients are high quality and super fresh! The atmosphere and ambiance is very relaxing and tranquil! Love the bistro theme on the indoor side and picnic theme by the filling station burger stand. Not to mention, the burgers are the best I’ve ever had! Made with high quality grass fed beef! This is gourmet nyc restaurant style food right in our local neighborhood! Keep up the great work!“

“See ya Sook! Bourbon Street Beignet is now my favorite local pastry shop. Born in New Orleans (Charity Hospital-1952) and lived in Paris for a few years as a teenager. Jules does a great job with all his pastries. The beignets were warm, fresh and tasty and on par with Cafe du Monde in NOLA. Will be coming here again.......soon!“

The host greeted us warmly, our table was lovely, and the whole atmosphere just put us at ease. Our server picked up immediately on the kind of pace we wanted — slow, relaxed, no rush — and matched it perfectly throughout the evening. She made a couple of recommendations that turned out to be brilliant and never once made us feel hurried through any of the courses. The food was the kind that genuinely lifts your mood. Proper flavours, generous portions, beautifully presented but not so fussy that you can't just dive in. We shared a starter, had a main each, and finished with a dessert we absolutely shouldn't have had room for but somehow found space. Every plate was a winner. The wine was poured with proper care and the bill came at exactly the right moment, not before, not too long after. It was honest and very fair for the experience. We left feeling properly restored. “Stopped by Blue Ridge Cafe and was pleasantly surprised! I didn’t realize it was a Greek cafe OR that they served Greek treats and everything we tried was delicious. The spinach pie is absolutely to die for—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The food, atmosphere, and service were all wonderful. Weekdays are more chill, I go sometimes to just relax and have a hookah while listening to good music and being in a cool atmosphere. The ambiance is everything and comfortable couches.“

“Great coffee, the older lady who is usually there is very friendly and welcoming. A barista was there that I’ve never seen before and maybe it was a language barrier but I think not she was rude. I said bless you after she sneezed no acknowledgement when she gave me my coffee I said thank you once again just turned her back no acknowledgement.
