“Great music and hookah. They put a lot of work into this place to make it comfortable and such a vibe. Definitely a place I’ll keep going to on weekends with friends. Weekdays are more chill, I go sometimes to just relax and have a hookah while listening to good music and being in a cool atmosphere. The ambiance is everything and comfortable couches.“

“The Healthy in Dyckman Juice Bar is one of my new favorites! The variety of food options available is mind boggling and I mean that in a good way. As someone who doesn’t eat dairy, I love it here. My favorite thing I’ve tried so far is the Salmon rice bowl. It’s so healthy, delicious, filling, and well priced! The avocado toast with the eggs was hitting too! You must give this gem a try. Thanks Juan for your great service today.Dietary restrictions: If you’re vegan, vegetarian, or don’t eat dairy this place you’ll feel right at home. Healthy vibes apply.“

“Stopped by this hidden gem with my mom this Saturday. We were greeted by very attentive servers and a beautiful space. The food was absolutely delicious and presented so nicely. We ordered the avocado toast and built our own savory crepe. Among all of the fun drinks they had to offer, I ordered the Icy Bear Latte it was delicious and adorable. We are definitely adding this to our brunch list in Bergen County, and are looking forward to our next visit!“

“First time here but the had the best experience. Ordered the hobo and my partner ordered a sausage egg and cheese with home fries. It was beyond delicious especially the bread which was soft and pillowy. Also the customer service was amazing, the couple were friendly, warm and had a sense of urgency. Would definitely come back!“

“Iconic Coffee is an amazing coffee shop with good coffee and a clean cute inside perfect to work. The staff is so kind and helpful! They talk to you and make your experience enjoyable. Plus they’re super quick and clean!! Prices are great especially for this area! I got the vanilla caramel macchiato which is $5.99 and the cup is huge!! You get so much for how much you pay with great quality. The brown sugar shaken espresso has a unique and tasty aftertaste again at 5.49. I recommend! Great location, atmosphere, staff, and coffee.Dietary restrictions: They have different milks“

“Went there for breakfast ended up with lunch when we saw the Korean dishes on the menu. The people are so sweet there. Loved their hospitality. The bulgogi and pork platters were amazing. They have a wide selection of dishes in the menu that really surprised me. They make fresh dumplings and fries as well. Would definitely come back to try the other dishes.“

“I was back in my hometown for a short trip and wanted to work remote from a cafe. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled across Marimba Cafe - the new name caught my eye and the aesthetics and offerings here solidified my decision. I don't think I've ever come across a sit down Latin cafe here in Bergen County so to me, since moving away, it's the first of its kind. Also first of its kind to proudly offer CBD infused menu items. I believe they just opened in November! The vibes in here are immaculate. My favorite feature is the stone floor - it just transports you somewhere new! The color scheme in here is also appealing, and the Latin music made me want to dance while I took on meetings haha. Overall, really solid branding and concept. Since I was working west coast hours, I spent the whole afternoon into close here. It's a really great place to work as there were other people working remote. They have comfortable seating and outlets conveniently located along the booth. I will say though that the booth seating was just a tad too high for the table so it took some time getting used to. Also, they do play the music fairly loud (a must) in here so it can be a tad distracting if you're taking meetings and have to speak. Since I stayed here for over 5 hours, I was able to observe the sense of community Marimba has fostered - they greet customers like friends! I also saw on their Instagram that they host community events like paint nights and dance nights and support other local businesses with their La Placita Sundays. I love everything this business is about. I ordered the coquito latte hot and a pan de bono. The latte was solid and I wish the pan de bono was just a bit bigger! I would love to try more here. Congrats to the owners of Marimba, I wish the cafe tons of business and success! I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in town.“

“Oh my!! If you pass this spot up you are missing out. We ordered the cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, and Cinnabons. The cupcakes were so soft and velvety. I was expecting had and grainy but these cupcakes are built as if you made regular ones and pulled them out the oven. My mouth watered eating them. The chocolate chip cookies were also soft and delicious. This place needs a stop when you're in the neighborhood. Even for the non vegan crowd these baked good will leave you surprised and ordering additional.“

“What an amazing, new favorite neighborhood cafe! A curious visit that turned into an 'addiction' :) Food is super fresh and very tasty, and by now my family have tried many menu items.Try their Veggie Heaven ( I have never seen my mom wolf down a full sandwich like this one, time and again), their avocado toast, the chopped salad, and the Waldorf salad (with or without the chicken!) -- just great! We've tried vanilla lattes, chai teas, peach iced teas, among others, and all got super high marks as well!Service is as good as it gets, pleasant and kind. We always feel so welcome, even when packed. On top, the place is like a melting pot of people from different backgrounds, walks of life, different languages -- the perfect atmosphere for all!“
“I purchased a 2022 Cannondale Synapse and could'nt be happier. Piermont had the best price and was able to ship it to me in Florida. The bike arrived in excellent condition, no scratches or anything out of place. I wish there was a LBS in my area like this one.“

“Everything about this place is fantastic. You won't find anyone else like Amanda, John, & Kerri here. They all know me by my name. The only thing I can't get past is the extreme entitlement of the customers that come here. People brush past me, or even see me struggling to get through the door while they are in the way, and cannot be bothered to move. And when I go "excuse me," I am met with frowns, lol.Today was the second time someone did that to me - frown when I walked past them being in the way as I wait for my turn to order while they take 5 minutes standing and chatting away with the cashier, as if no other customers were waiting. It's not mean necessarily, but inconsiderate.I really don't wish for any issues here. I wish people in this town who equally enjoy CD cafe as much as me would practice spatial awareness more. It's the Cafe Diem way to walk away happy!! As long as I am welcome here, I will continue to support CD cafe!“

“Love everything about this place, from the vibe to the staff to the coffee. “Such an adorable place! Absolutely love the ambiance! Beautiful design and layout, I’m a big fan of clean minimalist aesthetic when it comes to interior design. The space is bright and uses the space really well with the cement benches and cute wood tables.Delicious, creative espresso drinks, perfectly dialed in espresso, and great tasting beans. I got a Cortado and the Peace latte (smoked rosemary, espresso, steamed milk). Both were fantastic!! The smoked rosemary gave a nice savory note with a nice complexity, which I love!I am always grateful for places like this where ingredients are respected and you can taste the passion they have for the coffee in their drinks. Nothing is overlooked. Thank you for that!“

“My friends and I were in the area and we were craving coffee in the morning. We decided to stop by here for coffee - they have their regular menu but also a spring menu (which included ube matcha, ube espresso latte, strawberry matcha latte and more). They also have baked goods which all looked so good. The place itself is also super aesthetic with plenty of seating inside and some seats outside. My staff was super friendly in the front and at times there was a line but it moved very quickly. We all decided to get a chocolate croissant with was yummy. I decided to get the ube espresso lattee, which was pretty good - the ube syrup was on the sweeter side so the drink was sweeter than I would have liked it but it was good overall. The flavor was good as well. We were all in agreement that the drinks were def on the sweeter side so if this is something that you don't like then maybe ask for less sugar. Overall - cute cafe, highly recommend checking this place out!!“

“I really love what the owner, Woobin, has done for the space that was prior to now, an unsuccessful Korean bakery. He really brought it to life with his creative abilities that spill into interior design and not just his signature dishes he's perfected in the kitchen.Lately though, with the expansion of the business and increasing traffic of customers, I've noticed he's recruited the assistance of additional members of his team to help manage the restaurant. The owner and his business partner, A, will always be like family to me. I've been here for them since the beginning and it's really beautiful to see how they've evolved and cultivated a cult level status of love from all the locals in this area, not exclusive to only Leonia.Other than the one unfriendly lady working there, it's always a good and happy time at the one and only SS. Happy munching and snacking!! :)“

“I found this place awhile ago, a woman in my town makes amazing homemade cheesecakes and recently started selling them here. Checked out the shop on Yelp and the food also looked very delicious and was on a mission to try this place out the next time I was in Hackensack. I would consider this place a gourmet Italian coffee shop. Sounds weird but it is just beyond amazing. They have pasta there for sale that I believe is imported from Italy which I decided to take home a bag for myself. They also have Italian beverages and jars of marinated vegetables they sell. I tried it out for the first time yesterday, I went in wanting this pasta and the owner was working, he told me he only does pasta specials on Wednesday but offered to whip me up something if that's what I wanted which I thought was really nice of him to offer! I didn't want him to go through all that just for one dish so I decided to try the chicken Parmesan and my husband ordered a chicken cutlet. The bread was SO FRESH and the sauce was made to perfection, I was amazed at every bite I took. I also tried my husbands chicken cutlet and it was also outstanding. We finished our meals and then decided to have some of that homemade cheesecake (which I already knew would be delicious) and some coffee. The owner was very genuine and kind and we enjoyed talking to him. Great service great food. Easily 5 star worthy and I already can not wait to return.“

“So many drink options! Excellent coffee, you can customize in every way possible. They offer lots of recommendations if you're overwhelmed and can't make a decision. Servers are always patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Scones are good and the breakfast wraps are the absolute best. The only two drawbacks are that it is quite pricey, and it takes an awfully long time for food orders. I would get breakfast here every morning but it's at least a 15 min wait if you order any food, and there's almost always a line to order. Overall, it's a very good coffee shop and provides an excellent alternative to just the usual Dunkin and Starbucks in the area.Parking: There are only a few spots in front of the coffee shop but you can park further down past C&RC or near Ernie's, if needed.“

“Our absolute favorite, go-to restaurant. The service is great - the owner is welcoming (even once escorted our toddler to the c-store next door to buy some candy) and all the wait staff is great, especially Jason who is incredibly kind. Food is excellent quality and fairly priced for how good it is. Pastas are cooked perfect al dente. Great meat dishes especially the pork chop french cut. The desserts are quite good as well - love the coconut cake. Because it's not huge it isn't quiet but we've never found it to be uncomfortably loud and it has a great ambience.“

“Heard about Ramona’s and passed right by it the first time. Ramona’s is set back from the road behind 1840. My wife had the buttermilk pancakes and they were cooked perfectly. She also added scrambledEggs which were also cooked to perfection. (You would be surprised how many cooks screw up scrambled eggs). I had the Cuban sandwich and was surprised that it was the BEST Cuban sandwich ever: better than little Cuba! True. Try it and you will be pleasantly rewarded with a perfect sandwich in taste and texture. Each time I go, I try something else’s on the menu and have never been disappointed!BTW,One morning on my way to NYC I decided to get an egg sandwich and tea. After ordering I went to my pocket only to find that I leftMy wallet And cash home! Chris, the chef, said “don’t worry about it” and gave me my food without paying. I went Back the next day to pay, and the Chef said “I really meant Don’t worry about paying.” They would not take my $. What a classy move. “My spouse and I stopped here randomly while making the drive from JFK back to Ithaca after a red eye flight, and we are so glad we did. We stumbled in just as they opened, but Chef Dave was so kind and welcoming, and he makes the *BEST* pastries and breads we have ever had—and I cannot put enough emphasis on "best" here—from any country we have ever been to. We took a chocolate-almond croissant and a blueberry turnover to go because we were too full for sweets after eating yummy frittatas for breakfast (the bread he uses for the toast is too good!), and even hours after getting them home, they were incredible: so flakey, moist, airy, the perfect amount of sweet, and bursting with flavor. We already can't wait to come back to try more of his creations. Seriously, do not sleep on this place if you are lucky enough to be in the area!“

“Came for breakfast with my teen daughter on a Saturday morning. It was packed and it was about a 40 min wait. The entryway is tiny. We ordered Nutella crepes for the kiddo and the Monte cristo sandwich for me. Both were very good. I also had a side of home fries. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Perfect. I also ordered a caramel iced coffee and it was way too sweet. I couldn't finish it. My daughter had a lemonade and it was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. Service was very good despite it being very crowded. Oh and the vanilla cupcakes with pink frosting were really good! Would come back.“

“Great place and service. Price is decent for the quality. Both my partner and I went and got a berry bowl and a French vanilla simple shake. I was slurping for every last drop with the shake. It’s just the right amount of sweetness and is smooth. My partner loves the berry bowl, she too voted for 5 stars. Love that there’s no dairy in anything. Definitely will revisit :)“

“I came here on a Sunday afternoon to work. It's a small place, so there are not many tables, but they have WiFi and outlets. The cafe is covered in real plants. The servers were kind and friendly and you could tell the barista was passionate about the art of coffee. The food and drinks were great: * Matcha Yuzu - 10/10 - The matcha flavor is not strong and earthy, so it's perfect for non matcha lovers. The yuzu syrup adds a nice brightness of flavor, and the addition of the sparkling water makes the drink extra refreshing. I saw the barista hand whip the matcha too. * Cortado - 8/10 - I'm not a coffee drinker, so take this review with a grain of salt. This drink is pretty strong since it's equal parts espresso and milk, but I liked the flavor of the beans. * Chocolate Croissant - 8.5/10 - The pastry was buttery, flakey and light. I wish there was a bit more chocolate tho because only 1/3 of the bites had chocolate. Overall, I would definitely come again for the vibes and food. I want to try their hot food options next time.“

“What an awesome discovery out of nowhere. We were in the area for a whole different reason and driving on the boulevard we found parking right in front of this place. Stepping in we were overcome by the sweetness of the menu as well as the two hostesses behind the counter. We decided to try a few things, when one of them mentioned that the loukoumades just came out so we went for that as well. I have to say the loukoumades were the highlight so fresh and tasted delicious. If we are ever in the area again this will be a must stop for us. Very cute place indeed.“

“We didn't have a reservation, but they helped us because we were a family with a baby. It was our first visit. We traveled for about 1 hour. The staff, especially the manager of the business, were very polite. We ordered the bagel breakfast plate and menemen. The bagel was very fresh, the menemen was very satisfying for me, the honey and clotted cream were very successful. My only criticism is that the atmosphere is extremely noisy, the music is played very loudly to drown out the sound, it increases the noise instead of reducing it, which requires leaving without spending more time there. I will visit again for dessert. I have my eye on a few of them.“

“I visit NJ often and come to taskin for most of my simits and poğaça.So far its the highest quality product I've seen in terms of simit and poğaça.One thing I will note is that the simit is not traditional simit, it has a more fluffy taste and is sweeter then the normal simit. “Looking for pancakes and other breakfast dishes, I ordered several items for takeout from this place. The food took a reasonable 20 minutes to prepare for pickup and was ready by the time I arrived. I sampled a bite of a few dishes - pancakes and omelettes were up to my expectations. However, my actual order, the Wrangler skillet, was quite a disappointment. It was heavily loaded with bacon, but without a generous portion of potatoes as a starch (there were some, just not enough), the dish was quite salty even for my taste. So I don't think my skillet was prepared badly, just that the recipe needs to be rethought. If I come back here again, I'll try a different dish.“

“Simple place to get some food and warm drinks in Winter, cool drinks in the summer. They've got maps and books for sale. Only problem? Not enough indoor space for the tables. Outdoors is okay in the summer when it's crowded. But it's always crowded here, especially in the summer. They close the parking lot when it gets full.
