And if we’re lucky enough we can get a couple of those pumpkin Whoopie pie sent over from Atlantic Highlands!!“

The kids loved the cocoa (peppermint and regular, mmmm) and it added such a special touch to the PTO organized family evening. Booskerdoo in general is great, but the Middletown location takes it a step beyond with their generosity, kind service, and personal touch from Jeff, the owner, who is almost always there making sure everything is running smoothly! You won’t get this type of caring and desire to be a part of the local community from just any coffee spot!

This beautiful cafe is decorated in a chic manner for atmosphere. It makes a great backdrop for your Instagram pictures.

It is mostly designed for takeout, where all orders are taken at the counter. They have a limited number of tables to eat in the well-decorated space. However, all food is served in cardboard takeout boxes with plastic utensils, much like Chinese food. (That's not very French, and not very cafe-like either.) Given the way the cafe is decorated for folks who eat in, and in a well-to-do town like Rumson, I would have expected the option to eat on regular plates w/silverware.

With that being said... the food was EXCELLENT! We both got crepes. One with egg, ham, & swiss, and the other with egg, spinach, & feta. We shared an order of French toast which was made with brioche bread. The crepes were served on a bed of salad, and the French toast was accompanied by a fruit cup.

The cafe also has a selection of pastries and cheeses. We did not try any of these, but they looked good.

If you're looking for crepes-to-go to satisfy your itch for brunch, the French Market should be on your list.“

“I had my son’s 1st birthday party at Prince Tea House located in Staten Island. We had about 60 guests and booked the entire space for our private event. The price was also reasonable compared to other places for booking the entire space. Food and drinks were great and the atmosphere was a plus. My guests all had a great time. “I was in the market for a new coffee machine with timer settings and the ability to make a very good, consistent pot of coffee. I called 1st In Coffee and spoke to their customer service department and was given multiple choices of what I could purchase. I picked one and received it the next business day via UPS. It was a piece of cake to set up and it worked perfectly and did exactly what I wanted. I was very happy with the service I received and would definitely do business with these guys again.“

“A suggestion. Middletown had to be closed due to it not being financially viable. As a daily coffee drinker and supporter of local business, I can tell you the sole reason why people choose Rook, Starbucks etc. over Booskerdoo. Your prices. A 24 oz flavored
iced latte with alternative milk is $8 and that's without tipping. That is insanity. The average person can't afford that.The largest starbucks drink with alternative milk is $7 (still pricey) and the largest Rook drink (cold brew,alternative milk) is between $5 and $6. That leaves room for tip and a reason to return frequently.“
