You have to order 20 minutes before you get there it takes a little while but it's worth waiting or call ahead if you're really hungry“

“Recently went and although the food and waiter staff were great, we were expecting what we seen on here. There was no performances. An empty space. Apparently there's a 2 hr gap between brunch and dinner. The booking site allowed for a 4pm reservation. When we arrived we were accommodated but looked at funny. We found out that brunch had ended at 3pm. I was really hoping for the full experience I seen here and paid alot and didn't get it.“

Even though my friend and I waited 15 minutes before we finally flagged a server to come to our table, it was so quickly made up by Brahim’s service, charm, and attention. Clearly there must have been a miscommunication regarding who was servicing our table because once Brahim took over, we had our food in drinks in a matter of a few MINUTES! Not to mention, kindness, charm, and attentiveness. It’s such a vibe with the tropical decor, and the food was so delicious. I will be coming back!“

“This place is everything a restaurant needs…
I tried to walk in, and was packed, but that made me want to come back two days later with my friend Brian, who actually recommended it to me.

Again packed thank god we had a reservation, tight space but is exactly what makes it special, we had a table but we decided to sit a the bar because it had a more fun vibe, Josue the bartender greeted us very warm and friendly.

I asked Josue what else should I order and he mentioned the yapingacho,
And this i would never think it was going to be as good as it was because of the ingredients but believe me it works

I ordered the Papa Con Queso (potatoes and cheese ) which they have to fry up fresh for you (other empanada are not fried.) There are cosy places to sit and several different sauces on the table (i liked the green herb one.) Staff are nice and the empanada was like $3.50. It was crispy and tasty - a nice snack if you're in the area .“

“By far one of the best Central American fusion restaurants in Bergen County. Everything was phenomenal but highlights were the Guatemalan breakfast, chicken flautas, pupusas, and fried plantains. The food has a very home cooked feel with fresh, high quality ingredients. And try the tres leches made in house for dessert! David the owner has created a very welcoming environment that gives a feeling of being back in the island of Puerto RIco right here in Yonkers, NY. “Great food, it was tasty. I got the stew chicken and cuban sandwich. The cuban sandwich was great, no changes needed there. However, the stew could've used some achiote to give the chicken some color, it's very pale. Regarding the flavor I wasn't too happy with the kick, never had stew with a kick and this was a first. Would definitely order the cuban sandwich again but unsure about the stew. Overall not bad, good for the price and the portions are satisfying as well.“

“We ordered a passion fruit pisco and an original. Those were delicious. The best Piscos I have had!

The fish ceviche was excellent. We ordered additional sweet potatoes to go with it and that was brought to us very quickly.

Later, we ordered 1/2 chicken with yuca frita! It was also delicious! The garlic sauce that accompanied the yuca was the best! The green salsa was also delicious!

The only recommendation for improvement will be:
- Play Latino music - happy music. For an hour, this Peruvian restaurant played hip-hop music. After an hour, they were playing Amanda Miguel songs. Even if you play Peruvian music, it will be fine. Customers go to restaurants for the food and cultural experience. This is why I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 for atmosphere.
- Offer some canchita with the drinks. Most Peruvian restaurants offer canchita with the drinks.

I highly recommend this place and definitely will return.“
