“We ran into a hidden jewel tonite hiding in a strip mall in Linwood. It’s called “Sunday Gravy”& believe me it didn’t fail to impress. The food was like Nonas in Deep South Philly & just as plentiful.We went with my Sister Linda & Brother in-law. The staff were pleasant & friendly & it’s a BYOB which I prefer because I can pare my wine. Google the menu & if your in the proximity do your palate a justice & go. It’s reservations only & they seat promptly at your designated time. If you go sit with “Gagen” he’s knowledgeable, funny & extremely polite. Oh & best part is their prices are on the low side for a Good Italian Venue. Kudos to the Chef & the owners ,Please dont change a thing. J.R. & Family.“

“The veal Milanese here is a must have. The best anywhere. The bolognese is huge with a ridiculously great sauce. Had a plate of roasted peppers with anchovies the was simply beautiful. Wonderful staff who accommodated our twins in car seats. The place is snug but comfortable. This a wonderful place on earth. Thanks for a lovely evening. It's BYOB. You know what to do.“

“I have lived in the area my whole life and passed by this place many times. It wasn’t until a coworker recommended Juliano’s to me for their amazing wings that my husband and I actually tried it for ourselves. My coworker did not let me down because their buffalo tenders were incredible! The were so tender and the buffalo sauce was perfect. Not too spicy with a very slight sweetness. I would argue they might be the best buffalo tenders in the area!! We also got the grilled mahi tacos and Juliano’s salad. The tacos were a pleasant surprise! The mahi tasted fresh and they put so much of it in the tacos. We didn’t even touch the salad because the tacos and tenders were so filling! Took the salad home and had it the next day and that was good as well. We went on a Sunday night and sat at the bar. We watched the football game surrounded by locals and it was the exact vibe we wanted. No frills dive bar to watch the game with some good food and beer. We enjoyed our experience so much we got take out a week later. The tenders again, did not disappoint. We will be back, and I have a feeling it will be frequently!“

“This Place was the best place I ever went to in Atlantic City outside the casino areas. What a vibe. It makes you not want to get out of your seat. Reminds you of your Sunday family dinners with an explanation point. So much fun and attention to making sure you come back. New owners are from South Philly and are a blast to be around. “I work at Absecon Family Dental and I had to run to the UPS store to return something and I decided to pick up something for myself and my son. Didn't want to cook, I drove around and spotted Napoli Pizza Grill. I walked in and it smelled amazing. I ordered a Sicilian Margherita Pizza. It was the longest 55 minute drive, especially on an empty stomach. I love this gem of a place, it took me back to my hometown NYC. I love this place, they were welcoming and the place is so clean. “Best subs in Galloway, no contest. Prices for subs are very reasonable. My favorite is the honey turkey with provolone (Bonus: it's usually sharp provolone.) My husband and I love that their lettuce, tomato, and onion is sliced super thin. Their lunchmeat is always yummy, and cut just the way we like it. I have never had anything from their deli that I didn't like.“

“I went from hungry to hangry. We order from there a couple times a week. Good size orders. Just called to place an order and because the sub we wanted wasn't on the menu, they refused. They have the ingredients and have done it before . So, that's it. No more orders. It was a new employee. It's a shame. They royally messed up our last order, but I was willing to overlook it and refused free peanut butter pie, as an apology. A couple other places in the area make these very basic sandwiches, so we'll be going there for everything else as well.“

The steamed clams were soooo good, the broth was amazing, I could have eaten a loaf of bread with it, the mozzarella was fresh, prosciutto di parma & roasted peppers, large crabcakes, the Chicken Parmigiano was huge with a side of rigatoni, the sauce was delicious & the stuffed shrimp was outstanding & it came with a side. “Barrels needs more reviews!! We love ordering from Barrels! We have never dined in, we always order out and usually on a Sunday. For this order, we got the wrong meal and boy was I bummed out!! We were clear with our direction and even repeated the order but somehow the order was incorrect. Aside from this snafu, I would 100% recommend eating the food from Barrels. The portions are large, the quality & flavor delicious and consistent.“

What drew us back for some time was the humbleness of fine Italian food mixed with genuinely kind and low keyed charismatic servers. There was unfortunately a shift in management. Our relationship with La Fontana changed. Our final dinner at La Fontana (Strathmere) ended with the general restaurant manager having an explosive fit directed toward two life long friends in their mid-80s.“
