“We had dinner at Chef Vola’s on 9/17/25 to celebrate my Birthday. What an excellent dinner and experience. The service is wonderful and our head waiter Anthony is a great guy who provides the best service. The food is beyond comparing it to another restaurant. My wife had the salmon with special sauces that she said was the best she ever had. The bone in veal parmigiana was the best I have ever had by far and there is no comparison. We had the blush pasta which also was outstanding. Our sincere gratitude to the Chef Vola staff for making my birthday extra special.“

The food was delicious — I ordered the cheesesteak with raw onions and a side of French fries, and everything was cooked perfectly. “I've now been there three times for lunch. We split a burger and cheese steak on the first visit. Both were excellent. Owner Gus brought out a couple of slices of pizza for us to try. Both were so good, I decided to go for the Eggplant pizza on my second vist. I was there again yesterday with a party of three, a pizza, eggplant parm on a seeded roll, and an amazing chicken cutlet sandwich. Highly recommend for food, service, and friendly staff.“

“I work at Absecon Family Dental and I had to run to the UPS store to return something and I decided to pick up something for myself and my son. Didn't want to cook, I drove around and spotted Napoli Pizza Grill. I walked in and it smelled amazing. I ordered a Sicilian Margherita Pizza. It was the longest 55 minute drive, especially on an empty stomach. I love this gem of a place, it took me back to my hometown NYC. I love this place, they were welcoming and the place is so clean. I'm going to let my coworkers know about you guys. Again thank you guys for the great Pizza. Customer for life, many blessings to you all“

“Oh me, oh my! Where do I begin? I booked the Claridge for a convention that I was attending and truly did not expect the gem my family and I would find at The Twenties Italian Bistro. The hotel in general seemed relatively empty so we didn't have much expectations to be honest. When we arrived, it appears to be a very beautiful space that matches the hotel. There was only one table of 2 and we weren't quite sure if they were even open. However, a gentlemen named Jose appeared from the kitchen and greeted us warmly as he sat us. We reviewed the menu and were a little stressed to see the menu did not offer pizza which is what we promised our 4 year old daughter. Jose immediately replied that he would speak with the chef and see what could be done! Sure enough he came back and stated the chef could accommodate us as best as he could. We then ordered from the Taste AC prefixe menu to be able to share more dishes between my wife and I. WOW! Our appetizers were the heirloom tomato bruschetta and the Italian long hot roasted peppers. The bruschetta was fantastic and while I was a bit skeptical about the peppers, the flavors blended amazingly. Next was the mixed green salad which was flavorful yet light and the caprese salad which truly delivered. We were already extremely satisfied and now anticipating our entrees! We ordered an apricot glazed organic chicken filet that sat on fingerlings and was topped with Swiss chard...omg lol At first my wife was hesitant about the idea of an apricot glaze but once she tried it, it was hard to get the plate back. Then, the next entree truly stole the show. A creamy black risotto with 2 lamb chops. If I could have ordered a bucket of this risotto, I would have. It was truly INCREDIBLE! The lamb chops were perfectly cooked as well. Then finally dessert came out which was 3 flavors of gelato and 2 cannolis. First, let me say this, I am not even a sweets guy but this was fantastic. I loved the strawberry gelato as well as the chocolate which was so rich. I believe the other flavor was vanilla but I was already I love. And then the two cannoli's which must have been made on the spot which operationally I don't understand, but I also can't see how those are not absolutely fresh to order. Cocktail wise, I had a winter old fashioned that had hints of ginger and cinnamon and it was great as well but didn't come with a big cube unfortunately. As we were ready to settle up, Chef Craig Johnson came out to greet us as well and ask if our princess enjoyed her pizza! What a delightful man. He had a great energy and smile and his passion for his work really came across in his hospitality. This was truly the highlight of the trip and being from the industry, I don't say this lightly. Thank you again to Craig Johnson and Jose for an amazing experience at the Twenties Italian Bistro!“

“We love ordering from Barrels. If you go there during the off-season, there is plenty of room to sit with zero noise. It's a great spot for dinner or apps with friends. The food is consistently delicious and the portions quite large. I have to give a shoutout to Sierra & Samantha. I have seen Sierra there more than once doing her thing as a pregnant woman. Rock on!! She still greets with a smile!! I ALWAYS get the chicken cutlet milanese salad while my husband typically gets a pasta but this time he had soup. Barrels is known for their soups. Just call for their daily specials and you won't be disappointed!“

All dishes had excellent presentation, very hot and huge! Food was delicious. Atmosphere was a bit tight and loud especially if you want to have a conversation, but overall we really enjoyed it. “I ate here for the first time this summer when the first place I tried to go to had a line. I don't care how good the pizza is, I refuse to wait until a dozen or so people are done taking their time eating before I get seated. So I decided to come here and got the last available table without a wait.
Because one of my kids only eats plain, we had to get a plain pizza. It was gigantic. Biggest pizza I've seen before. The paper plates we were given were not quite enough to hold a slice, so we cut the ends off and finished them with the rest. It tasted good despite no toppings, and you can watch them make the pizza if you want.
The way you get your food is different, though. At the other pizza place we went to before, a waitress comes around like at a restaurant. Here, you have to order what you want where you walk in, and then sit down. They bring the pizza to your table, but be sure there's room. Not a big deal, but if you're not used to it, like we weren't, you could spend some time waiting for someone to take your order, and that person won't come. You have to get your own drinks to take with you, so be sure you have your entire order ready to go and pay for after you grab a table.
Between three of us, we couldn't finish the pie we got, so had to take the rest home, and it was fine the next day with a little oven reheating. Just be ready to have almost no room at your table once you get the pizza, as it's huge.“
