“Filipina here living in Thailand who visited this place during an NYC vacation for the craving of Asian food. I personally enjoyed the food - we order green chicken curry and beef with broccoli. If you're an Asian looking for a taste of home, I think this is good enough and the bad reviews are coming from a lot of folks who didn't grow up eating food from Asia.“

“Went to Sappe NYC for dinner and honestly loved it. The food was so good. We tried a few different dishes and everything had so much flavor without feeling heavy. The pad thai and curry were standouts for me, and the drinks were great too.

Patt was our server and she made the whole experience even better. She was super kind, patient with our questions, and gave really solid recommendations. She checked on us just enough and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering.

Overall just a really fun dinner. I’ll definitely be back.“

“We absolutely love this place. The food is very authentic. It’s a small location, but they do a great job of getting you your order relatively quickly. Everything is very delicious and some people were even waiting outside because of how good the food is. There were also a lot of delivery orders we could see your people coming for takeout. I highly recommend you trying this place. It can get very busy around dinner time so come before then or a little bit after like around 7:30 p.m..“

Great food. I had noodles and vegetables with an amazing sauce. Mango desert with coconut sauce and yummy rice, fantastic!!! Joe might be your waiter and is kind and professional. Such a wonderful place!!!“

Food orders, which were taken quickly, arrived within 10 minutes after ordering. Was more of a fast casual experience which was too frenetic and not at all relaxing. Restaurant noise was also very loud.“

“We did a takeout from prince & i and it is a tasty and refreshing meal, perfect for chilly winter nights. We had khao soi and tom yum soup and both were packed meticulously. The chef asked us for our requirements and explained that the place is not like traditional thai food and also graciously accepted our request to cook the poached egg fully. “Dropped in for just a snack and got the Crab Rangoons which for some reason I feel are so hard to come by in nyc. These were great! The filling was smooth and had nice flavor, and the dough was very very crispy which is what makes or breaks a rangoon for me so I was happy about that. My only gripe was that the amount of sauce was sooo small and definitely not enough!

Also had a Thai Tea which was not too dense and rich, it was more of a refreshing and lighter, yet still creamy thai tea which was exactly what I needed in the moment so it hit so well.“

“One of the best , very authentic Thai place.
This is a tiny hole in the wall, street food kind of place.
I had their lemongrass chicken..it was delicious, you could taste the lemongrass on the chicken too .

We also has chicken satay, which was also quite delicious. This will probably become my regular Thai food eatery when I feel like eating Thai“

“HONEY PORK SLIDERS may not be the most iconic Thai go-to but these are the very best sandwiches I've ever had in my long, well-fed life. Before Mama opened this welcoming restaurant, she had a place nearby called Thai Sliders where I first became acquainted with this spectacular flavor/texture miracle. I usually order fancier fare when I sit down at Lil Chef Mama but I love these sliders for takeout. And each sandwich is much bigger and more generous than most sliders,so instead of lasting for only one meal, the two I recently took home lasted me for two glorious feasts. I'll go back soon for more--see you there!“

“I loved the weekday lunch set menu (Pad Thai + Thai Iced Tea + One Spring Roll for $17), because it was both delicious and affordable. The portions were generous.

ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant is small, with a total of 6 tables or so. Although they have a heater, it gets cold during the winter, because the door keeps opening and closing.

FOOD: I liked the expansive menu, the lunch special, and clearly labeled vegetarian options. The Pad Thai was a little bit sweet to my liking, but still yummy.“

“This is one of my favorite Thai food spots in this area. Food is really good. I order from here and pick up quite often. However sometimes I order for delivery and I really wish they could get stickers or something to go on top of the drinks to ensure delivery drivers can’t put anything in it. Or the drinks don’t leak out.“
