“I have been only going here fro a few years now because I do not live in Madison. However the food is awesome here and the front of house staff is very friendly. It is hard to find a really good Chinese food restaurant but I can honestly say this is my favorite one.“

“I’ve been ordering Chinese takeout back to living in Brooklyn for 20+ years. In almost all Chinese restaurant reviews, people always complain about delivery and how many shrimp they got. Just order pick up and don’t go to pricy places if u want to avoid being disappointed. I’ve bought from Madison Wok for 15 years now and never had a late order when ordering pick up here (usually 15 mins). The food tastes exactly as my local restaurant when I was a kid, so I can’t complain. For the price, consider how little you are paying for the amount of work and manpower going into it •• esp since it’s done so fast. Dao nearby has slightly less oil and flavor for a lot more money. I wanted to like it but just poor value since your deliver or pick up order price needs to support the wait staff. No American style Chinese food is healthy for you so stop thinking you’re doing something good by paying someone extra to do less oil, msg, etc. in summary, this is an old school place that gives you the standards for the least amount of money you’ll pay in this zip code. Not something to eat everyday, but when you need your fix for this kind of stuff. I recommend the pork dumplings, fried wings, curry chicken, wonton soup and any fried rice, plus the chow fun and generals chicken. My 3 kids never complain and no one has ever been sick. Sometimes I’m not crazy about the amount of meat but remember that I’m not paying $15 or $20 for a pint here, and the low prices are supporting a skeleton crew.“

The pork soup dumplings were flavorful, juicy, and full of soup. The red bean sesame balls were warm and crunchy, with the red bean paste inside soft and tasted like heaven. All the other options we ordered were delicious as well, like the chicken leg noodle soup, the fried noodles, the mango pomelo sago, and the clear shrimp dumplings.“

Recently did an early mother's day celebration and food as always it was delicious, fresh, and made for a perfect meal. Ordered a bunch of food including soup, steamed dumplings, egg rolls, General Tso's Chicken, Sesame chicken, hot and spicy chicken, pork fried rice, and beef lomein. The flavor of the food is excellent, the pork fried rice was on point and freshly made, the orange chicken was a bit mushy more on the softer side. If they can fry the chicken a little bit crunchy it would be perfect. The eggroll I'm not a fan of but it was okay. I enjoyed the food, and that will be my new goto restaurant from now on.“

I like visiting different Chinese places to try their mapo tofu specifically, which is a savory and usually spicy dish that is like a saucy spicy soft tofu.

The version prepared by Ye’s Asian Bistro had a different taste than most I’ve tried. It’s tough for me to describe it but it’s almost like a darker flavor but not exactly due to the usual bean sauce. Very light level of heat.

My wife commented the pork fried rice was the best she ever had . My Shrimp w/ Lobster sauce was excellent and frankly I never got so many Shrimp from the old regime!
