“HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Wow what great fresh food . My wife and I were lucky enough to have meet the owner of this amazing place when she was dropping off her food for a large event . After sampling her food we were truly impressed on the quality and flavor of her food . Since then we usually order food weekly. The portions are generous and always full of delicious meals.

“Stopped by during the Rahway Arts Festival. Fantastic food!!! Fresh, flavorful and delicious! I had the fried fish and my daughter had the curry chicken empanadas. She later went back to get the Jerk Chicken empanadas. Highly recommend!“

“I had heard from my son and a friend about this restaurant and decided to check it out, with a friend. I ordered the fried chicken wings, candied yams, collards and Mac & cheese. My friend had the rasta pasta and j*** chicken. everything was delicious. We will be returning to sample more dishes.“

“The jerk chicken platter is the best. I've tried many different spots in DC/MD and NJ, but Cool Runnin's jerk chicken is top. The location right on Easton ave is tough to find parking and I wish they were on doordash or one of the other delivery services.“

“I was born around the corner....in my most lonely moments, this place became home. my favorite meals. it is also available on uber eats. I love you Lucia, it is Patrick. this is a wholesome environment where you DO get your moneys worth and even more. no chisma no gossip, all love and respect in this building and everybody is welcome. I am a spaniard, to be so accepted and seen in a latino environment is something I don't take for granted. I recommend the beef empanadas, if youre veggie get there early to catch the cheese ones! and the chicken is a classic...
I recommend you get there early if you want yellow rice because I'll beat you there! haha.

“I love this small gem because the food is delicious! The oxtails is my go to order but I have also had the bbq and jerk chicken. The favors of everything here I have ordered is what you would expect from an authentic Jamaican restaurant. Only thing that could improve is the interior. This is definitely a take out place not an atmosphere that invites you to dine in.“
