“I’m in the area for just one night and needed to figure out where I could get a quick dinner. I saw Sophie’s Bistro and after getting a recommendation from a colleague, I made a reservation. It’s a really casual place; not pretentious in any way, but the bartender was both talented and conversational and made something off menu to enjoy. For dinner, I decided on French Onion Soup and Steak Frites and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Besides this, the bread service they bake in house is amazing and I learned about the owner and how he treats his people and that made me even happier that I came in. I wish we had a place like this where I live; I would be there all the time. I’m not sure when I’ll be back in the area, but next time I’m near Somerset, I know where I’ll do dinner. Give it a try, you’ll be happy“

“Excellent - wonderful lunch menu with daily specials . Soups snd risottos are my favorites but the entrees are delicious and perfect amounts. The soufflés - from choc to mango - are to die for. Even the expressos are good.“

“I had an amazing experience at this place! The fries were perfectly crispy, and the chicken was just as delightful—light, not greasy at all, and full of flavor. I loved being able to choose from a wide variety of sauces and seasonings to customize my meal. It’s rare to find such high-quality food in a fast-service setting.
I also want to thank the staff for their kindness. I arrived about ten minutes after closing time, but they didn’t turn me away. Instead, they served me with a smile. That level of customer service is truly appreciated. Thank you for an exceptional dining experience. Highly recommend!“

“I love coming to Wasai Bistro whenever I’m visiting the east coast. I’ve followed Chef Nelson since his days at Aozora and Wabi Sabi. His food quality, menu options, and value are unmatched in the area. Once you try his food you will understand why he has so many repeat diners. I highly recommend the Mes Reves Roll, Uni and bone marrow ramen, Miso glazed sea bass entree and salmon lover entree but it’s very hard to go wrong with anything Chef Nelson serves. Parking is street parking only but honestly I’ve always had a very easy time finding a spot. BYOB so you can drink what you love.“

“Crepes, both sweet and savory are always good. Ambiance is great and the place is very cute with murals of the Eiffel Tower and french music in the background. Every time I go, we are the only people there. If you have a bigger group, wait times will be longer because I think the person who takes your order is also the cook and the waitress. I’ve never seen anyone else working there. She often has an unpleasant attitude that sours my experience, but I go because my mother loves the crepes and the food is good.“

“I haven’t been to Cafe Paris in about 17 years, not since the end of my senior year of high school when a bunch of us brought our French teacher there to eat. I decided to stop there today for a much needed celebration of myself after a rough few weeks. The food was absolutely superb, and my waitress, Jackie, embraced my self celebration. Now that the warm weather is finally arriving, I can’t wait to bring my kids (who love bread, fruit, and cheese!) for a lovely lunch outside. I can’t believe I stayed away for so long— I won’t be making that mistake again!!“
