“Can I please give it 6 stars? I recently went there with a group of five family members while visiting New Jersey and we had a truly extraordinary night! As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. The ambiance is warm and unpretentious and the memories of a great experience will certainly bring us back again.“

“This is the place for steak, I know they serve other items, however, the aged beef is just so tender and cooked to perfection. This a great place for corporate dinners or upscale birthdays to share this calm atmosphere and food properly prepared. The cost of dinner here is closer to $250 (without wine) each, when you order salad, appetizer, main course, sides and a shared dessert and this includes one alcohol containing drink and that is without a 18-22% tip for great service. You do know that, so price is expected to be high, however the mood, the food, the service leads to a special evening.“

This Ruth’s Chris location is steadfast and phenomenal. The servers are excellent, knowledgeable, and dedicated. There’s a great team in the kitchen and it’s apparent in the dining experience. One doesn’t find such a long term and tenured staff at a dining establishment without the restaurant having a good reason to be honored with such retention. “My wife and I have been patrons and huge fans of Chez Catherine for nearly 30 years. Last Friday, we happily celebrated our 39th anniversary there with another very fine lunch. It's always a pleasure to be greeted like old friends by owner Stephane Bocket and seated at what we think is the best table in the tastefully decorated, elegant restaurant. We both chose the prix fixe menu. For starters, my wife had the always terrific moules and I a lovely mixed salad. We both chose beef bourguignons for our main course and asked Stephane to suggest wine from the by-the-glass list. His selections of a chablis for my wife and pinot noir for me worked perfectly with the outstanding bourguignons. We finished by sharing a delicious Baba au Rhum, prepared by Stephane at tableside. Dining at Chez Catherine is always a special event to us. Everything about it is first class. If you are unfamiliar with Chez Catherine, it has been one of New Jersey's Top 5 restaurants for nearly 40 years. “Service was exceptional in a casual environment. They have an extensive menu with many options. They don't have many steak options, just Filet mignon, from what I can see. They have a sister restaurant located on the same property called Capitol Grille, which is a high end steakhouse.“

“This spot is a hidden gem. I’ve been living in the area for about 15 years now and just randomly tried this place one day, and let me just say it not only exceeded my expectations but blew them out of the park. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is nothing short of simply the best. I would highkey recommend trying their freshly house made pizzas, they’re finger licking good as well as their pastas which are chefs kisses. I’m genuinely amazed at how not many people know about this restaurant. The owner is the sweetest woman I’ve ever met, we talked for 15 minutes just about her business it was 2 minutes before they closed and she offered me all of the left over pizza they hadn’t sold that day FOR FREE. I’ve found my new favorite go to Italian spot.“

“Food was decent and we had great table service from the bartender that was there when we were in for lunch between 11:30 and 1 PM on a Tuesday . The negative is the 4% credit card surcharge. Firstly, I don’t like that surcharge and secondly, I have not seen establishments charge 4% so that seemed excessive.“

“If you’re looking for old school Italian, this is a great spot. They made it easy to schedule a work dinner for 9 people, and the service was quick and accurate. The Caesar salad was extremely tasty, as was my pasta dish, albeit a tad salty. The front bar area is also cozy and casual, so it’s a great place for an after work cocktail.

Everything was 5 star,including food; Niavh's (Irish name pronounced as Nieve) service; and the personable manager, Dave. Gorgeous wood and glass. Great Ambience. Easy to park. I ordered a calamari to go, and the bartender (a super friendly guy) was fantastic. He was incredibly nice and even threw in a huge piece of bread—easily 10 inches long! “We had a reservation for Valentine's Day. We were seated, given our menus and then we waited 45 minutes and were not even served water. We left, and no one even noticed. We went and grabbed fast food instead. We have dined here previously but many years ago and enjoyed the food. Other people's food looked good. Maybe they were short staffed.“
