“Beautiful view of the lake on the grounds of a golf course. Food was delicious. Unfriendly bartender who never asked if we needed another beer or ketchup. Whenever we asked for something, she was very dry. Food took a while, but it was so delicious. Cheeseburger with sautéed onions and sweet potato fries. Maybe the bartender was icy because we’re not golfers. Who knows….“
“Great food for real. The Dj's pony tail mullet was epic. I had wings that were great. After finishing them, some drunk legend sitting at the bar stool next to me ate the remaining cartilage and meat from the bones. Great spot for a fun time.“
“Absolutely charming riverside cafe with great food, worth a few hours’ trip to explore the quaint town. Check out the historic water wheel at the back of the restaurant and the rustic shops in the neighborhood.Order the croissant creme brûlée French toast if it’s offered as a special, but split it among 2-4 people as it’s too cloying otherwise. I normally dislike French toast but this one just hit different. The croissant soaked up the custard like a sponge, while the edges crisped up nicely. It’s a bread pudding, really. The plain croissant off the pastry shelf wasn’t that good, though, as it tasted more like bread than a flaky pastry. The smoked salmon is a recommend. It’s a very light meal on its own, though, so you might need to order a pastry or side.“
“Love this place...bought sweets and treats today at the bakery but I forgot my bear mug. Must buy a bear mug. I did buy chocolate covered gummy bears...I think they are my new addiction..lolThen I drove over to the deli and bought an awesome sloppy Joe sandwich and some fresh macaroni salad.Hainsville General store has the best deli sandwiches in this area!!!!And for dessert a beautifully decorated piece of carrot cake.To everyone at the Hainsville General StoreWishing all of you the very best for a fantastic New Year❤️?❤️“
“Great food, cool atmosphere! Came with a group of 4 to celebrate a birthday, and our service and food were phenomenal! We got the calamari and Bavarian pretzel to start; the calamari was tender & cooked to perfection, and the pretzel was soft, salty, and delicious, especially with the cheese sauce. For our main courses, we got the surf and turf special with the filet and colossal shrimp (with the bleu cheese butter on the filet ?), the rigatoni fresca, braised short ribs, and the grilled filet, and everything was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We’ll definitely be back again soon!“
“Nice atmosphere and great beers. My husband is very into beer and even brews his own and it's quite knowledgeable in the subject from a process and historical stand point. He loves their beers, thought they were all solid for their styles. I am not huge on beer but there is something there for everyone I feel. Even ones I could enjoy. My husband liked the beer so much he order two flights cause he wanted to taste them all. Haven't had the food yet but from what I could see inside the food looked filling and nice portion sizes too. Staff and friendly and attentive. The building itself has a lot of charm and historical character.“
“If it wasn't for Google maps, we would have missed this place. I'm glad we didn't. Food was great and for an unbeatable price. The owner is great guy and makes all his customers feel welcome. Check this place out if you are in the area! You won't regret it!“
“This place is a true home away from home. The food is fresh and taste's delicious. I buy the same meal all the time. They make the best Pork Chops ever. My family often try their specials. We love Arlene’s and Tom’s. Best Diner in Port.Parking: Their Pork Chops should be an option to recommend.“
“Food is fantastic, large portions. Service is very good too. We brought our grandson with us for breakfast he had a great time. They even gave him a special bendie straw and a huge bowl of whipped cream to go with his yummy chocolate chip pancakes.“
“I have lived here for about 8 years now. This is by far the best place for deserts and ice cream, locally, better than all ice cream places around. If you want to eat food, bugers , etc, this place is great, too. This is great treat. All the ice creams are fresh, homemade, good stuff for ice cream. Clean and cute place to sit and eat or to hang outside in beautiful weather. The is young, but respectful and do thier best, even when it gets crowded and sometimes they run out of items, but there is alwys other options to chose from. My favorites are too many to mention, but my go to is peanut butter sundae. I coud go on and on. Check it out , just know , there will be lines most weekends, especially in summer. 5 stars!Wheelchair accessibility: They should work on this , but when I can't walk it is always nice to spend time in the car having ice cream with husband , and enjoying the view. I know this is a tough one to tackle, I understand, it's an old house.“
“We've been here twice so far and will continue to return. Their homemade bread is incredible so we'd recommend ordering anything that includes that! The most basic of sandwiches, ham and cheese, becomes delectable when served on their bread. The menu is pretty limited but provides enough options for most. The ham and cheese sandwich was obviously of great quality but we would strongly recommend something other than fish and chips. ?They also make homemade pies and he loved the cherry and it was a very healthy serving. (Maybe they gave an oversized portion because he hardly ate his lunch?)It could be confusing the difference between the deluxe burger on the menu and on the chalkboard special, besides a few dollars; but service is friendly and attentive so just ask. Finally, bring cash--or you have to leave your boyfriend behind and head south four miles to hit an ATM. ?“
“A wonderful &delicious dining experience.I had the prime rib,a very generous portion.I couldn’t eat it all.My partner had the fish special,Beramundi, also delicious. We had the Korean BBQ spring rolls for an appetizer served with a teriyaki chili sauce. Absolutely delicious. very nice accommodating wait staff. kudos to the chef.Parking: Parking can be difficult at times.limited spaces. But, The dining experience and the food as well worth the inconvenience parking“
“Was our first time here.Good place to eat. Workers were friendly. Food came out fast. The chicken cordon bleu bites, cheddar broccoli soup, mushroom brie soup, and coleslaw were great.Interesting outside area of shops and a cute small duck pond that we took pictures by.We got here at 5:50pm and the stores were already lock and closed everyone was gone, even though the hours said they are open till 6pm Would have liked to go in an shop in the little shops. Wished they were opened a little later, missed the opportunity. Definitely would stop by again if back in the area.“
“If you have driven past Mountain House Tavern and wondered if you should stop by....F-ING GO!!! Whether you want a meal, a quick bite to-go, a bar to hang out at, don't hesitate to try this place.Food was amazing, service was very friendly and prices are very reasonable.*Try the Kielbasa Sandwich, you won't be disappointed!“
“One of two great places to eat in Port Jervis. Best chai ever, the Indian omelette is vegetarian and slaps so good ? Heard the red masala tea is amaze but it has never been available when I’ve have tried to order it at least 3 times now. Last time I ordered chai my cup was only 3/4 full which was a little odd but honestly I love this place so much I don’t even care!Vegetarian options: Indian omelette“
“As a foodie, I need to re-review this store. First of all, what makes me crazy is that their Chicken Tender is so delicious, the texture and taste (although it looks ordinary on the outside, I can tell you 100% honest that it looks ordinary), but it can beat Popeyes by several strips. street. Then there are French fries and onion rings, which are better in quality than McDonald's. Parking is convenient and the service is attentive. The only two negative points are that their range hood may not have good exhaust, and guests will smell a strong smell of cooking fumes while dining. The environment is a bit old and dirty. So overall I am satisfied with the experience and I would give it a 4?. Because they still have room for improvement.“
“Fantastic golf course. $25 after noon on Mondays is a great value. Most everything was in good condition. Cart had a club and ball washer which I appreciate. Hole markers had maps and tips. Challenging holes but not too hard for a novice like me. The cafe and pro shop was also very sleek and new. Had some pace of play issues but not so bad that it ruined the round. Can’t wait to come back.“
“Best.dive.bar.on.the.planet. Beautiful lake views, awesome service, a solid bacon cheeseburger, and a jukebox full of great tunes. One of my favorite places to hang out with friends - or enjoy by myself with a book and a glass of wine by the lake.“
“Mary is an outstanding Server! Cheerful, welcoming, attentive, accurate! I've worked in the Restaurant business for 17 years as a cook and kitchen Manager and know when you have a special talent on board. Mary is just that! She will no doubt be moving up if she wishes. Very very pleasant experience here!! Food was good served with no wait. Absolutely a great experience. Jess the Manager was also very cheerful, helpful and a positive leader! Great experience. Highly recommend anyone to a great time and a good meal at a very affordable price!“
“If you are r are seeking a wifi cafe, upscale and trendy... You won't find it here. What you will find is great food, great value and personal staff. This is a classic gem, authentically nostalgic... And did I mention a historic scenic town? A classic diner experience. If you are r are railfanning, make this your food “
“Lauren was the only server working and nonetheless provided a truly genuine, kind and professional service. She was hard working and personable and valued providing a quality experience which I really appreciate despite being short staffed. The busser, who's name im forgetting was also lovely, intelligent and supportive. It's always inspiring to see a team be able to work together in a collaborative way, especially in a time of short staffing and reduced wages.Food wise it was very good, the perogies slapped! As did the smoked trout. Next time I'm passing through I look forward to stopping by“
“I just had a Greek salad with chicken and it was easily the best I have ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious. The salad isn't cheap but it is worth every penny. The portion is huge and is more than enough to split for two people. I highly recommend and will definitely be trying other menu items!“
