“We loved this place, but they kinda forgot us for awhile so it took our food an hour to come out. Our server got our drinks and appetizer so fast, then he disappeared and someone else finally came and took our order and gave us water. But they were all very friendly and it was a very fun place with great food. Loved the garlic chicken and def get a side of maduros! So, so good. Chicken was fall apart tender and garlic sauce was outstanding. My boyfriend loved his meal tool, ground beef with an egg on it. Delicious mojito too! One caveat- it's VERY loud. We loved that, the live music was wonderful. But even before the music it was very loud music they played in the restaurant. It was fun, but be prepared for noise. Enjoy!“

“Great food as usual and good service too. Our only issue was that it was quite chilly where we were seated (toward the back) which got much worse when ceiling fans directly above us started blowing. I had to put my coat on. When we mentioned this to a staff member, he said nothing could be done -- the fans come on automatically when more people arrive and they eventually turn off. We waited a bit for them to turn off, then gave up and left earlier than we would have otherwise because it was so uncomfortable. The front of the restaurant was much warmer.“

“Never been a fan of this chain but decided to stop by at this one today and I’m so glad I did! The staff was phenomenal and so helpful with me coming with a special needs kid in a stroller and the food was off the charts good! I’ll definitely be back at this location again ?“

“We went for brunch and got the croquetas, the tortilla cubana, and the huevos rancheros. The tortilla cubana (omelette with chorizo, manchego, and spinach) was great, but the potatoes served on the side were just ok. The huevos rancheros were good as well. The croquetas were very heavily breaded -- I would not order them again. I had the passionfruit mojito, which was good but a bit too sweet for my taste. Service was good!“

“The Blended Bistro is amazing. Everything I’ve had has been absolutely delicious. My favorite things are the ham croquettes, the Cuban chicken sandwich, the pernil and I can go on!! If you haven’t been there this is a place you need to run and check out. Staff is great, place is adorable, cozy and feels like home. Owner Maddy, has knocked it out of the park with all her recipes.“

“Came here for brunch. It was mostly empty, but I kinda liked it that way. No loud music, just vibes lol. The food was ok. Portions were kinda small. I opted for the add on of the yucca fries. They were good but it was like 6 pieces. They were big, but left me wanting more. I didn't have it, but the bottomless brunch seemed like a good deal. The food was good, but I felt small portions and I left hungry. I feel like this would make a better happy hour spot. Plates feel smaller and the drinks were good. The bathroom while clean, smelled like urine. I was gonna give 3 stars but gave 4 because service was good.“

“We staying next door at the Muse and I walked the 20 steps to Margon to get a cafe con leche and tostada cubana. I was blown away. As born and raised Miamian, I can honestly tell you that the best cafe con leche is found at Margon in Manhattan. Hands down. And the ambiance reminds me of the old-school cafeterias and bakeries my grandfather and dad would take me to as a little girl. Keep doing what you’re doing .. loads of blessings and suerte, your way!“

“Cuban restaurant in Bergenfield, NJ Cuban family restaurant in New Jersey with ample parking space. My wife and I were greeted and served with great kindness by an efficient and bilingual staff. The restaurant is spacious, and its ambiance is refined. Its décor combines a display of original works by Cuban painters and Oriental vases. The menu, prepared by a Cuban chef, is diverse, with various starters, main courses, and desserts. As main course I ordered lacón, the kind I remembered eating in Cuba, which is not easy to find in New York. My wife had sea bass. Our dishes were all very good. We were very pleased. My wife favorite was a starter called “Discovery”. I particularly enjoyed the flan. Our only recommendation has to do with the music, which was only Salsa while we were there. In our opinion, the addition of other types of Cuban music could enhance the experience. The owners do not have a liquor license yet. Forewarned, we were able to bring our own bottle of wine. We had a great time. Highly recommended.“

“We really enjoyed our lunch at Bistro 38. It was not too busy so the noise level was good. All of our food was delicious but most memorable was the guacamole with plantain chips. We'd never had these chips before and they were a perfect (and healthier) vehicle for the guac. The guac was great and we're from California, home of the avocado, so we should know! Highly recommend this place.“

“If you love Spanish food, especially Cuban food, then this is the place for you and your family. My one big gripe is the seating is too close to each other. I don't like having to hear private conversations of other diners. Either expand the place or minimize the seating. This is an issue at ALL their locations. Also, it's difficult for someone in a wheelchair to get around.“

“Good was great but unfortunately it was also too pricey. There’s absolutely no reason why a Cuban sandwich should cost more than an average dinner meal. It’s a great place for lunch. Just be ready for the outrageous prices?Dietary restrictions: If you’re on a diet? I recommend drinking a lot of water and the steak sandwich minus the breadParking: Place is overall great and the food taste awesome. It’s obvious the cook injects love into the food. Upon eating you will feel the explosion of flavor in your mouth no-matter what you order. “Amor Cubano is a nice small place with tasty food, we walked in with no reservations it was a nice calm relaxing place to sit, eat, chat and enjoy some music. It wasn't that busy about 5 couples/friends we're all seated in different areas so it wasn't packed we ordered to eat el cubano, and 2 ropa veija, 2 pina mojitos and 1 passionfruit mojitos. They put a lot of leaves in the mojitos lol just a heads up. Food was delicious the green sauce amazing everything was yummy worth it but there was literally only 5 couples or friends in the entire place and they took so long to bring out our food and they kept forgetting our sides and we kept having to remind them, but it's cool it was worth the wait definitely recommend you to go ahead and try the food for sure will not disappoint.“

The entries were cooked to perfection I ordered Ensalada de la casa con churrascoFilete de pescado con cangrejo y vegetales. The flavor were bold and authentic, and the portions were generous. “My boyfriend loves red snapper so I am consistently seeking places that serve it - on the bone where possible. We just so happened to be in the area when I found it on the menu. Went once and now regularly drive an hour just to come here for the red snapper and Pollo al ajillo which is my favorite (huge garlic fan). I want to explore other items on the menu but I can't because I absolutely love that dish. The happy hour during the week is also fantastic, he drives and I indulge in mojitos, which is a huge win for me. The happy hour apps are great too! We've tried them all.“

“First off I love the remodel. I’ve been here several times and always enjoyed the food. It was my first time coming for dinner and we were seated right away. Our waiter was super patient and nice. For appetizers we tried the toston montado which is the skirt steak, onion jam with chimichurri sauce over a crispy plantain along with the yucca frita. The toston montado is a must try- so savory and yummy! For the entree I had the ropa vieja with beans and yellow rice- it was delish. Food is always spot on!“

“Came here around 8pm on a weeknight without a reservation and were able to get seated right away. The vibe of the place was great and the service was prompt, but I am giving this place 4 starts because the food was absolutely mediocre and overpriced for what it was. I got the salmon and it came with white rice and bok choy. There was absolutely no flavor to the white rice, it was just a big serving of white rice. The bok choy was steamed and lightly seasoned and the salmon was good, but nothing special. That dish was priced at $33 and was mainly comprised of white unseasoned rice. Maybe their other dishes are better, but the salmon was not worth that much. Also, this is a Cuban restaurant, but the Cuban sandwich was only available for lunch“

“I don't know enough about Cuban cuisine to stipulate to its authenticity, but all I know is that the Cubano sandwich is really good for what it is! “Great local spot in Hoboken, must have a reservation if you are going on a weekend evening as they are packed. First off they are BYOB which we did not know but was not an issue. We sat at the bar and ordered the Churrasco Sandwich which had grilled sliced skirt steak, caramelized onions, chimichurri sauce, potato sticks a solid 9/10 and a must try. I ordered the Camarones al Ajillo which was sautéed jumbo shrimp, white wine garlic sauce. For the price of $26 I was expecting more than 4 small shrimp that with needed to search for in the excessive amount of sauce given. The Maduros were okay and unfortunately were not made fresh to order. The yuca was great as it was steamed and not fried. Our service was outstanding and the ambiance is a bit crowded but a cozy feel for a Cuban spot. I would definitely like to come back and try more of their menu.“

Once we walked in and noticed that there seemed to be a lot of “regulars” that knew the staff, we knew were in a good place! The food and service is fantastic. Everything that we had was full of flavor and melted in your mouth. We started with the stuffed green plantains with shredded beef and then had the Lechon Asado con mojo criollo and Rib eye steak with a side of sweet plantains. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They were very appreciative of our compliments. The only thing we regret is not going in there sooner!side note: the skirt steak must be very good because 5/6 people next to us ordered it for their dinner!“

“My friends and I came in on a Saturday evening. We tried making a reservation the night before for a group of 8 but were told they were full and we'd have to come in the day of as a walk-in & wait. Not a problem. We did find out the day of that they didn't take reservations? Regardless, we were sat in under 10 minutes after being told there was an 1.5 HR wait. No complaints there! Let's start with the drinks, the margaritas were on the sweeter side but very strong. I originally ordered a tamarind margarita but they were out and tried substituting this with strawberry without asking me. I ended up requesting a pina marg in place of the tamarind. After the margs we did a pitcher of a mango-guava sangria. Again, a little sweet but very tasty and strong. We'd definitely order it again. The food was very good. We ordered the Havanero appetizer and loved the little fried Ham & cheese bites, the corn fritters were also tasty. We really enjoyed the app. We also ordered tostones rellenos de camerones and ropa vieja. Both were very good. For entrees, we ordered the ropa vieja, Salmon Havanero, 2 churrascos, and a bistec de palomilla. We all really enjoyed our entrees. One skirt steak was bland, the other had really great flavor and melted in your mouth. We also ordered dessert, the coppa catalana which was phenomenal. My favorite bite of the evening and the creme brûlée. The creme brûlée was a bit gritty and wasn't as creamy as I'd expect it to be, it still had good flavor. There was a live band and a full dance floor! This is what we came for and the atmosphere did not disappoint. We will definitely be returning.“
