“Had a great lunch here the other week. Food was delicious and atmosphere was very relaxed. The salmon was cooked just right and was very juicy. All of the appetizers we had were excellent but the fried zucchini was amazing. The only negative was we were here for longer than I had hoped for but that's not a deal breaker for me. I will be back, just not when I am pressed for time lol”

“Very impressed with Ju-Ichi Japanese Restaurant dining experience. We came before 6 pm with a large group knowing we might have to wait but was able to be seated in less than 30 mins.
Our group ordered to dine “family-style” to allow us to sample a wide range of dishes. The rolls, and hand rolls are very good as were the bowls of udon and other dishes we’d sampled.
Service was quick and efficient.”

This was by far the best seafood I’ve had. It was very well cooked, very well seasoned and everything in the plate complemented one another. So imagine our surprise yesterday when we stopped into A Legna Wood Fired Pizza and after the VERY first bite, we looked at each other and just smiled.

This Margherita pizza was hands down the BEST pizza we’ve had in New Jersey, and trust me, we’ve tried pizza spots all over the state!

The crust, the sauce, the fresh mozzarella… absolutely incredible. If you’re looking for amazing pizza, do yourself a favor and stop by! And bonus: they’re BYOB too! 🍷🍕”

“This is such a gem! Feels like eating at grandparents’ house. Everyone is so caring and friendly. Make sure you order the traditional Taiwanese food - this is the real deal here. Everything was good - so many things they make in the house properly - fish balls, shrimp rolls, sausage etc. they even have organic dishes. You can taste the care they put into making the food. I am touched. We were so happy with the food that we ordered takeout for dinner after having lunch here. They also gave me complimentary bitter melon side dish 🥹”

“Have been loving this place since they changed owners last year. The new, Peruvian dishes are incredible. The arroz chaufa is sooo tasty. Their daily specials are super quick to grab during my lunch break.

For breakfast (or lunch), the salami, chorizo, and the morcilla (blood sausage) is delicious and it comes with a small tasty piece of bread or fried dough. Don't forget to ask for their hot sauce. Pan de queso, pan de yucca, buenuelas...all delicious. Empanadas are yummy. Only thing is they are made with corn meal shell not flour. Depends which one you like.”

Parkside Tavern will always be our favorite restaurant in Morristown.

There are restaurants you enjoy, restaurants you recommend, and then there are the rare places that become part of your life. Park Side Tavern is that place for us. The service is consistently impeccable: attentive without hovering, polished without becoming formal, and warm in a way that makes every visit feel personal. The food is equally impressive—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully balanced, and reliably excellent.

My wife and I have traveled across multiple continents. We have eaten in Michelin-starred restaurants and enjoyed dishes built with rare ingredients, exacting technique, and extraordinary presentation. Yet one of the most memorable things either of us has ever eaten was something wonderfully simple: Park SidesTavern’s chicken Caesar wrap.

And I am completely serious.

This was not merely a good wrap. It was the chicken Caesar wrap against which all other chicken Caesar wraps should be judged. The chicken was tender and properly seasoned. The lettuce provided that essential cold crunch. The dressing had the ideal balance of richness, acidity, garlic, Parmesan, and pepper. Every bite delivered the right ratio of chicken, greens, dressing, and tortilla—something that sounds simple until you realize how many restaurants get it wrong.

That wrap understood restraint. Nothing overwhelmed anything else. It was creamy without becoming heavy, savory without becoming salty, and substantial without losing its freshness. It was familiar comfort food executed with such precision that it became genuinely memorable.

And then it disappeared from the menu.

Park side Tavern remains the best restaurant in Morristown in our eyes. The hospitality is exceptional, the food is consistently delicious, and it is still the restaurant we recommend without hesitation to anyone looking for an outstanding dinner in downtown Morristown.

But we have one heartfelt request: please bring back the chicken Caesar wrap.

Menus evolve, and restaurants naturally introduce new ideas. But occasionally, a kitchen creates something so perfectly calibrated that removing it feels less like a menu change and more like retiring a classic before its time.

We will continue coming back because Park Side Tavern is—and will remain—our favorite. But if that chicken Caesar wrap ever returns, we will be the first people through the door.”
