“This is a cute spot with a authentic vibe. The lunch price fixe is a very good value. All of the sauce sides were great. The burger was excellent. But, the fish while cooked perfectly lacked seasoning as did the rice. The keftedes were bland and very dry. So, overall it was a bit hit and miss.”

Halfway though a dirty martini, Milana brought over a fresh frosted glass to ensure the rest of the drink was chilled and delicious. What a professional and thoughtful move. “We celebrated my wife's 50th birthday party for 30 guests at Chakra on Sat, Nov. 16th. Rex (manager) was so pleasant to work with and made the entire planning so smooth. Rex was very open to our ideas and also complimented with his own based on his experience. On the day of the event, Rex, Asin (main server), and other staff took care of every minute details to ensure our guests had the best time. The food was amazing as always and service was phenomenal. Very rarely, you see the entire team is focused on ensuring every guest has wonderful time and that too with very infectious smiles they had for the entire duration (3 hours). Rex is apt at restaurant business and is truly focused on customer service. I give Rex and Asin 5 star for their excellent service for our event. Thank you”

“I absolutely cannot give this establishment enough praise. We had a repast for my father there. Another establishment canceled on us at the last minute. Nestor and Louis could not have been more accommodating and helpful, especially given the short notice. They are some of the nicest and most genuine people in town. The food and the service was amazing, and everyone in attendance couldn't stop raving about it. They took a very difficult situation and provided us with a truly amazing experience. If you are looking to host an event or just go out for a great dinner, you will not be disappointed with Chef Freddy's Table. Nestor and Louis will go above and beyond for you.”

The food was incredible—delicious bread to start, perfect appetizers (carpaccio and grilled octopus), and standout mains. My husband loved his NY strip steak, and my branzino was so tender and flavorful. The cocktails were on point, too! Shoutout to Mamadou for the great service and to the owner, Joe, for stopping by our table and showing us the wood-fired grill on our way out. Such a nice touch! Everything was top-notch, and we can’t wait to come back with friends. Highly recommend!”

“It's a Great looking restaurant that provides indoor and outdoor seating. We have been doing our rounds in Morristown all summer, and this place made the list. The food was really fresh and tasty. Wish they had iced tea, but the bottled water was sufficient. The bbq nachos were very good and different than what you get from most places. My one suggestion is having a physical menu for your location. It's hard to have a no phone rule when you have to use it for the menu. Also, the landing page provides too many options. Too much work. I am old school and like a physical menu. Won't hold back that 5 star based on my menu preference, but hopefully, they will consider. I will go back again to try some more of their menu.”

“Very happy to see this place continue to flourish after changing locations, and to see the same faces, too. The kids that work the register/answer the phone are always very friendly and polite, which is hard to come by these days.

As far as the food goes, I could blindfold myself and point to something random on the menu and still be blown away. Besides the typical crowd pleasers, do not sleep on the tortas, tostadas, or serrano salsa.

Seems to still be a local spot that has not been gentrified by 27 year olds that moved out of Hoboken and the city. I would go to war for Macho Nacho!”

Even though it’s considered fusion, the food tastes surprisingly authentic. The Nasi Lemak was spot on, and the sambal had great flavor! Definitely try their Malaysian milk tea — it’s different from Thai milk tea: creamier, with a slightly nuttier taste. And the prices were not bad!! Customer service was good 👍”

Dakota was not only friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, but also incredibly mindful of our time. He ensured our service was prompt and timed perfectly. Drinks, appetizers, entrees—everything came out perfectly timed and piping hot. His attention to detail and professionalism really made all the difference.

We ordered 3 pies that were very good along with a great large specialty salad. We finished with cannoli and fresh perfectly cooked zeppoli. They even let us use a coupon right in their menu. We were served quickly, but were not rushed in the least.

The last few times I ordered for pickup via DoorDash I have had to wait 10-30 minutes after arriving at the estimated time for pickup. I understand it's only an estimate but a continual 10+ min delay is frustrating and estimates need to be updated to accurately reflect the turnaround time required during peak hours.”

The owner and staff were very attentive in making everything just right(eventhough we walked in 15 minutes before closing).
