“Food is absolutely delicious!!. Atmosphere is super casual, decent amount of seating, staff we're kind, and friendly. Everything made to order, so be prepared to wait up to 10 minutes for a hot/fresh/delicious meal. In my opinion the 6 piece grilled tenders are the best value for your buck, definitely ask for a side of their white sauce, it's out of this world delicious!!. Food is a tad spicy, but nothing extraordinary, the spice level is fine for casual spice tolerance individuals like myself. All around great place to dine. I've dined in/out Food was great either way. 10/10 easily!.“

“Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“

“Great place but your store and a few around you constantly have bums breaking into your bathroom putting guide wires down the drains and all, ripping up the PNC bank right next to you and triggering the bank alarm to harass buildings with older static based alarms all around, this is related to building 55 and a very noisy storm drain at Manor drive and Norman road, thisnis an undergroubd T section that a used in combination with deep earth scamning 2854hz to find gold and silver s r wash that along with a MISSING PHENTYYLIN PACKAGE 4 YEARS AGO.to capture it in these tunnels and other nasty things. Friday 10 am the fun started from. Your store on the 26th and you and your family is most likely being targeted. Don't forget o ly speak with officers in person and when they can presentan id.“

“I am from Montclair but travel to Newark often for their chicken, mac and cheese, onion rings, pizza and shrimp. Yum. Their employees are wonderful. The restaurant is busy because their food is worth it. It is inappropriate for anyone to suggest that their location means they should sell their good food for cheap.“

“Low key, the Philly cheesesteak is 🔥 . There is no way it can compete with the real thing but it's extremely satisfying and potentially more handleable than a platter. Also the platter might let you down but the cheesesteak won't. Just be aware that they have a peculiar system... If you ask for anything Italian (Italian cheesesteak or Italian cheeseburger for example), they put fries on it, which to me doesn't sense because fries are not even remotely affiliated with Italy. If anything they could be connected to France because we call them French fries. They misheard me when I called in an order once and they thought I asked for Italian cheesesteak and I had French fries in my cheesesteak. I was trying to feel slightly not too unhealthy about my late night snack so I didn't want fries on top of the delicious greasy meat and cheese and peppers and sauce, so make sure you clarify that you want a Philly cheesesteak not an Italian cheesesteak. All in all, you should not have high expectations and if you don't you will be happy. If you are an experienced eater of street meat from carts in the city, their platter is different, and should not be held to the same standards. They are open late and are always quite friendly so these are the big positives that you should consider if you're in Newark and you're hungry and it's 2am.“
