“Many Colombian eateries in the area, and an equally diverse mix of bakeries. However this is the one I visit the most because it's delicious, consistent (!), inexpensive, and clean. Don't be put off by any lines inside, they move quickly. A+ all around!“

One of selections ended up being sold out and the workers decided to give me a free cookie. I’ll definitely be back, I can’t wait for next’s week lineup.“

“Happen to bump into this bakery, when getting a came for my dad.
We bought a strawberry shortcake, that had other fruits on top. It was so pretty.
I also bought a piece of Mocha Cake because it's my favorite and they actually sold it by the slice, as well.

OMG, my parents, who don't have much of. Sweet tooth loved their cake. My mom, actually went for seconds.

And my Mocha SLICE, WAS AMAZING!!! I've tried several bakeries and most don't really impress me. But this one, MY FAVORITE. I PLAN ON going back to order a personalized Mocha Cake this summer for my birthday. I'm willing to drive the hour to go get it.

Also the bakery was clean, sell plenty of candles, cake toppers, and the staff was nice. I highly recommend.“

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. “From price quote, to cake pickup, to eating I had a phenomenal experience. I splurged for my 30th birthday for a custom cake. La Bon was affordable for what I wanted which was amazing. Their staff was incredibly sweet, professional, and all around pleasant. And the cake? Oh my God. I couldn't ask for a better outcome. I provided a reference photo and the result was an exact match. Flavor wise? Impeccable. I don't know what it is about these cakes but it was hands down the best cake I've ever had in my life. The creme cake slices are delicious and decorated so prettily. I don't drink coffee, but many hot beverages to choose from including tea. Come on in.“

“Luchitas Bakery – A Peruvian Delight with Great Flavor and Quality

I was looking for a cake for a special occasion and came across Luchitas Bakery online, so I decided to give it a try. The service was good from the start, which is always a positive sign. To test the quality first, I ordered a few desserts.

We tried a lemon pie that was decent—not extraordinary but pleasant. The Black Forest cake was definitely the highlight—very tasty with a great balance of flavors. We also had a tres leches cake that wasn’t too sweet, just how I like it, and it was really good.

After these tastings, I decided to order a small cake for $60. The prices are a bit higher compared to other Peruvian bakeries, so we initially thought this would be a one-time option.

However, when I went to pick up the cake, I was pleasantly surprised. Although it looked small in size, the cake’s height was impressive, and it was beautifully decorated. Once I tasted it, I confirmed it was worth every penny—it was truly delicious.

If you don’t mind spending a little extra for a great-tasting, well-presented cake, I would definitely recommend giving Luchitas Bakery“

The Arancine (rice balls) are excellent. Good quiche and great pastries. The owner is very nice and lived in Sicily.
I bought some bread, that I found to be excellent.
Street parking, about 6 tables for 2 and good service.“

“I love having a Dominican bakery so close. Everything we’ve had there has been FABULOUS!!! Honestly, some of the best coconut macaroons I have ever had and that includes ones I’ve had in DR. I had a coconut tree leches cake, and a strawberry short cake cup, which were both out of this world. The cold brew is so good, and the pumpkin sauce is on point. They’re also super friendly.
