“It’s a nice place with a welcoming atmosphere. Even on a weekday evening, the tables filled up quickly, which says a lot about its popularity.

I was surprised that the bread wasn’t complimentary, but the soft, delicious butter made it well worth the price. The food was very good, and the service was friendly and attentive.

It’s a BYOB restaurant, and if you don’t bring your own, you can have wine delivered from a nearby wine shop with no delivery fee, which is a nice convenience. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would definitely come back.“

“Had a fantastic dinner at Allendale Social last Saturday. We especially enjoyed the Korean fried chicken and the heavenly miso cheesecake—both standout dishes.

The candlelit room created a beautiful atmosphere, and the live music added just the right touch.

A special shoutout to our server, Charles. Knowledgeable and friendly, he guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations and paced the evening perfectly.

Our food was well prepared delicious and a gracious portion size. At the end of our meal Liz brought out a delicious brookie topped with ice cream in celebration of my son's birthday. “We threw a drop-in Buffet dinner for family and friends at Houlihans for 30 to 35 people. The room is spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. Sebastian the manager as extremely gracious and helped ensure our guests were taken care of. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend..“

“We dined at Robert’s for the first time. We were celebrating a relative’s birthday. The food was outrageous! The appetizers were amazing as were all of the entrees. I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. Despite that, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this fabulous restaurant.“

“I had a private event in the Parlor Room and it was fabulous. Food and drinks were spot on and the service was dynamite. There were 21 of us all together and everyone was well cared for by server Lily and the rest of the awesome staff. I really love the unique atmosphere of the place -warm, classy and comfortable all at once. No boring old chain restaurant vibes here. Everyone had a great time. I would definitely host future events here.“

This time we started with 3 apps that I tried. A salmon tatar, raw oysters on a half shell and shrimp. We like to eat and love our food lol. Soo sooo good- Then I ordered the tuna that had a perfect crispy crust on the outside and rare on the inside with a delicious wasabi sauce along side black rice and steamed bok choy. “Fabulous place to host a private event in their beautiful downstairs area. The buffet was one of the best I have ever been to, the dressing on the salad was exceptional. The owner was very accommodating and the menu offered a variety of choices that took into consideration allergies and dietary preferences. not one complaint on any of the food. our server dona was terrific, the place is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, lots of parking available and very reasonable prices. I have also been there for lunch and highly recommend their flatbread. Love this place and will be back often.“

“Place is great and solid. They make the best breakfast in town, too bad they aren't open earlier but I guess to keep quality the chef/owner need to sleep or be with their families at some point unfortunately for us hungry customers. Burgers, dogs,gyros, turkey sandwiches, and Italian ice recommended.“

“Coolest bar in the area, the regulars are some of the best“

“We have been shopping here as our main grocery store pretty much since it opened. While it is a smaller Whole Foods, it tends to have a good stock of a good variety of items, both fresh and packaged. It is generally clean (with one exception, see below) and most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is an Amazon Locker here, so you can get your Amazon packages delivered to this locker, do your shopping, and then pick up your package all in one trip. There are a two issues I very much wish they would fix. For one thing, the restrooms are consistently not clean. This is a suburban store and doesn't get the volume of customers that an NYC store gets, but they don't seem to be able to keep the restrooms in good order. My other issue has to do with what they choose to stock in a couple of categories. The first is orange juice. I always look for organic orange juice not in a clear container (so as not to compromise Vitamin C). I just want organic orange juice in an opaque container the way it comes -- not pulp-free, not extra-pulp, not with Vitamin D added, etc. They never stock this. My other stocking issue has to do with ice cream. They have all kinds of interesting flavors, several kinds of dairy-free options, etc. but I just want a pint of premium, organic vanilla ice cream, straight up. This can sometimes be found but often they don't have it on the shelf even though they carry all kinds of great brands that would offer it. If only this store remedied these two issues, they'd be five stars for sure!“

Cafe 37 offers a true fine dining experience. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, the service is attentive, and every dish is beautifully presented. You can tell the chefs put a lot of care into every plate. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area“

“Passed this place a bunch of times. So I was hungry. So I said let’s give it a try. Well was amazing. Staff from moment walked in very friendly. Warm welcome. Started off with the Fire Roasted Wings (10) flame-broiled all-natural chicken wings marinated in fresh herbs & spices + lemon & herb dipping sauce Dough-Roni Pie Olli Salumeria pepperoni + tomato sauce + ricotta + fresh mozzarella + red onions Lemon Ricotta Ravioli Hand-made Ravioli + summer squash + fresh mint + pistachios + lemon zest + parmesan cheese Got off track sorry. Has seating at bar and has outside patio. (Was just a little to hot out there today) Very clean and definitely swinging by again. It’s right across street from Fairfield airport. Can’t forget the wine cooler before seated. There had to be 25+ wines to choose from.“

“I used to live in nyc. Since moving to jersey years ago, i have been looking for a place that does Falafel and gyro platters the new york way. This spot is exactly that and no other spot compares! Ive tried so many disappointing falafels in jersey. This one was perfect! Exactly the same as my fav cart in NYC. I used to have to go to nyc when i craved this so im so happy i no longer have to make that journey. Manhattan Halal Gyro has to be one of the most underrated restaurants in northern jersey. The team was friendly and lovely. The prices were insanely good! The quality was perfect. Good vegetables and loved the grilled onions on the platter. The sauces were exactly what they were supposed to be and the falafel was so perfect - soft but crunchy - exactly what i love in a good falafel.

This also tastes the same as the falafel i get when i visit family in the middle east.

“Stumbled upon this gem and haven't looked back, since before covid, during covid and to this day! My favorite pub, I recommend all, never disappoints! Love the ambiance, love all the wait staff especially Theresa, feels like a visit with a friend! We go all seasons but especially love the deck in warmer weather! GO, you won't regret it!“

Not to mention the food is phenomenal. I’m highly addicted to the Franklin steak house salad with steak. Their house dressing is soooooo good. Get the garlic bread too. Everything is really good. I’ve no complaints.
