“We were warmly welcomed on a snowy winter day and enjoyed our lunch. Their cappucino and lattes were delicious as well as their unique 3-berry muffin. The house specialty sandwich was tasty, but had more cheese filling than I like. Their turkey sandwich was delicious. The restaurant decor is contenporary cozy and there are lots of breakfast, brunch and lunch choices with vegetarian and vegan options. It was nice to see families and diners of all ages hanging out and enjoying the food and vibe there.“

“Of the many coffee shops in Old City, this is one of my favorites. It has some of the best matcha I've ever had and I love their flavors. Ive heard equally as good things about their coffee. Their butter crossaint is unreal good and generally theyre comparably priced to the area. They also have an awesome patio area where I sat with my furry son for a bit, really great spot overall.“

“Yet another hidden gem in Philly. I came in for the first time today by chance and immediately felt so so so welcomed into the space. It is much smaller of a space than Madis Coffee Roasters (Twisted Grounds has only a few small tables to sit), but the staff is equally as kind, friendly, talkative, and enjoyable to be around. You can quickly tell that the team here has a great rapport with each other, and it makes the atmosphere comfortable and fun to be in. They have super cute merch and engaging conversations. I'm excited for this to be one of my regular haunts in Philly. The manager runs this place like a well-oiled machine.“

“I’ve walked by this spot so many times, and it seemed every time I was hungry they were closed (closed on weekends) but today I finally stepped in. I ordered 2 bánh mìs and a Vietnamese coffee. Pete, the owner/operator of the spot was the only one there and we instantly jumped into great conversation about the music scene in Philly back in the late 90s. We ended up knowing a lot of the same people. Philly is a tight knit group. So even before eating the food I was already a fan of this spot. Pete served me his special take on Vietnamese coffee while we talked and he made the sandwiches. The iced coffee was excellent, but different and less sweet than Vietnamese coffee I’ve had in the past. He also used ice cubes made of coffee which was an added bonus for a coffee junkie like myself. After we talked for nearly 20 min, I walked home with my sandwich and WOW! Such a solid bánh mì! I told him to make it like he would make it for himself (spicy) and he knocked it out of the park. I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing all my music friends here when they are in the neighborhood. I highly encourage Olde City residents as well as Philly locals to give this place a try!“

“Great experience. Modern design, well lit, ample parking, great food and coffee, very reasonable prices. Service by Besi (I think that’s how you spell his name) was phenomenal. Just very personable staff members who take the time to get to know their customers, but also leave them to do their work. They serve premium coffee from Italy with a delicious taste and great potency. I will absolutely be returning to this spot.“

“All around perfect neighborhood coffee bar with a micro shop and personalized vibe. The espresso shot was perfection with more complexity and polish than you sometimes find in smaller shops. Judging by the traffic and the speed of the staff, take-away coffee is the most popular here but there are great nooks to perch in and watch the warm neighborhood come alive in the morning. Highly recommend.“

“I really love the relaxed atmosphere here and the incredible variety. My daughter cannot get enough of the cannolis. I asked her which one of the three highlighted she wanted when I brought her in there yesterday and she said yes please. They had so many different latte flavors (my favorite was the coconut mocha) that were the perfect amount of sweetness. “I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

“Ive been here several times, always amazing quality food! The Ethiopian food is really well spiced and tender meat, lots of vegetarian options too. Smoothies, great coffee, and some simple wraps and sandwiches as well. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere. Nice to eat in but also casual enough to chill if youre coming by yourself. Huge portions, I usually take leftovers. Super close to Rittenhouse Square!“

“Most delicious specialty coffee in the city“

“This is hands down the best coffee shop in NoLibs. We discovered it over a year ago and have been going at least once a week ever since. I rarely get matcha out because so few places actually use good quality matcha and make it properly, but CNT does all of the above. They have monthly rotating flavor specials for coffee and matcha that are always incredible and made from scratch. The shop is also super dog friendly and our pup literally drags us down the street to go there anytime we are nearby.“

“I went to this coffee shop because of the sweet smell of fresh brew coffee, but when I entered the energy of the amazing young lady behind the counter, slapped me in the face, and I was so overwhelmed with joy, and that warm filling that was given as the New Customer to a place unknown, she was able to offer me an amazing chocolate strawberry latte as well as the pastries are on point. Dining in is limited to a narrow bar and two small outdoor tables but it is a short walk to Rittenhouse square.“
