“Worst experience of my life! I had my micro wedding here and was charged for things I didn't get. No drinks were verbally offered they just had a separate table with pitchers of water on it. We paid $100 extra to have a table set up with lemonade and or iced tea pre ceremony. I was supposed to be able to set up my wedding favors on this table as well. The seafood dish was supposed to have scallops in it and we noticed they omitted them. In the private beach area where we were supposed to have our ceremony they had an event going on up to 15 minutes before my ceremony. They had picnic tables alongside the ceremony just overlaping and pushed against the fence I had to ask them to move so they would not be in my pictures. I had barely any time to set up decorations. The air-conditioning was broke supposedly in the whole restaurant they could not even provide fans so my guests were very hot and uncomfortable. The upstairs was supposed to be our rain plan but we asked if we could have everything up there and the GM would not allow us to move to the upstairs that was air-conditioned and not being used but I was allowed to change into my dress upstairs. We were told it cost more to have it upstairs. I felt like considering the air conditioner not working they should have moved us. Honestly I could go on and on but I'm too exhausted! I felt like I missed out on a lot of photo opportunities and moments bc of how hot and uncomfortable everyone was!“

“In my humble opinion, I must state that my total experience at this “Exceptional Restaurant “ was 10 STARS! The staff greeted when I arrived with a smile and I must admit that the CRAP TRAP has a philosophy of making sure you will have an individual who is a Professional who will advise you and answer any questions about their “SUPERIOR” menu! Our waitress never missed a beat when it came to advising me the in her opinion, I should choose their famous Crab Cake that was stuffed with crab and no fillers! One thing that you will observe, their salad was so fresh and the rolls & muffins were homemade & hot! You have several choices of side dishes & I selected the apple sauce that had to be prepared in house, and the frech fries were crispy and also seasoned perfectly! Our table was spotless, and the whole restaurant had a staff who never rushed you, but was always there to refill you water! I have dined in 5 Star Restaurants on my vacations & business trips, and all I must state is for being my 1ST Visit to the CRAP TRAP, I plan to make it a weekly location and a priority on my “Schedule”! I have wanted to dine there before, but I can add there parking lot suggested that there was a long wait, When I entered, I was so impressed by the size of the inside accommodation! I must apologize for my velours review, but I truly feel that this restaurant is a “GEM”“

“We tried Mike’s while on vacation in 2023 and knew we would be back! Worth the drive from OCNJ. Takeout is packed very well and portions are always enough for leftovers. Really like it here!“

“We threw a joint 60th/30th birthday bash at The Bellevue Tavern in their private room, and it was an absolute blast! The private room was gorgeous — big surround windows giving us tons of natural light, a dance floor, and tables that worked perfectly for groups from 4 to 10.
The staff crushed it, super attentive servers and a bartender who kept everyone happy… our signature cocktails were premade and ready to roll — no waiting in line!! The food was amazing, plentiful and delicious- especially the crab cakes. Plus, we got to bring in our own DJ and dance all night (though they would’ve piped in music if we wanted).
Special shout-out to Dennis, the owner, and his son, they were fantastic from the time of booking straight through to the very end of the party. They (along with the servers) constantly checked in during the night, totally hands-on and making sure everything ran smoothly, but never in an intrusive way. Our guests are still raving about it. If you’re looking for a spot to celebrate, this is the place. Bellevue Tavern nailed it!“

“Stopped by to pick up some shrimp for my first attempt at a seafood boil and this place had everything super fresh and the price was lower than we expected for Jersey Shore. Ended up getting 4 pounds of peeled shrimp, 2 bags of crab legs/claws and fried flounder sandwiches that were also delicious. Our boil turned out amazing all of our guests raved about it. Could have even gotten all of our produce here if we wanted to they had everything.“

“I didn’t get any pics i am so sad about that! First i would like to start off that JoJo was an amazing server. The clams were delicious. We ordered calamari which was extra crispy! My husband had the fried flounder, my daughter had the lobster roll and my son had the lobster grilled cheese. The lobster was delightful but the grilled cheese was outstanding. I had the homemade crabcake! Wow! So Good !!“

Water ice is chunky and not like a Rita’s but still good! It works for a quick treat.“

“We were there for a birthday celebration on Sunday. We were seated so we could see the water. (The scenery of the water is very relaxing!) I would call for reservations but expect to wait. Your reservation will help if there are many walking in to dine. It was jam packed when we arrived-- excellent deal!The food was good and the portions were excellent for 3 courses for 25 dollars on Sunday from 1-4pm. Definitely, have the crabcake and the turkey meal. It was not sliced deli meat! I would suggest you ask your meal be piping hot when it arrives at your table. “WoW WoW WoW ! Today was my first time dining here and it certainly won’t be my last. Everything was incredible. Shrimp tempura for a starter and it was outstanding. The salmon dish was out of this world and like no other salmon entrée I have ever had. You will not be disappointed and the service was top notch! Well Done jays on third“

“We have been here several times. The food is delicious. Spouse has gluten allergy and the staff is EXTREMELY careful and hand deliver her meal separately. She has NEVER had an issue. Mac and cheese and pulled pork is her favorite. Tonight a vacationing family was dining in. A young man ordered a sandwich that had the kitchen sink on it. It was fun to watch him try eating it. “We ate there last night. It is an upscale restaurant with white table clothes. You should eat on the patio facing the marina. Two of our dishes were very good- the flounder and the lobster ravioli. They had Slacktide Pale Ale on draft, which is great. You need reservations here, even during the week (in-season.)“

Despite the well hidden acoustic attenuation panels on the ceiling, the dining area is very loud as the noise from the bars spills into that area. “giving it 4 stars bc i’m local and feel bad and don’t want a local place to close. but i am SO SAD about my experience tonight. I got sesame chicken and specified “NOT SPICY” and they even wrote it on my order! and let me tell you, i couldn’t even eat more than a bite. my mouth was immediately on fire. So i didn’t even get to eat my main food, all trash:( So I tried the egg drop soup that i ordered and it was also SO spicy i couldn’t tolerate more than one bite again!!! I spent $24 on a dinner for myself and ended up only eating white rice:( rest was trash“
