“Worst experience of my life! I had my micro wedding here and was charged for things I didn't get. No drinks were verbally offered they just had a separate table with pitchers of water on it. We paid $100 extra to have a table set up with lemonade and or iced tea pre ceremony. I was supposed to be able to set up my wedding favors on this table as well. The seafood dish was supposed to have scallops in it and we noticed they omitted them. In the private beach area where we were supposed to have our ceremony they had an event going on up to 15 minutes before my ceremony. They had picnic tables alongside the ceremony just overlaping and pushed against the fence I had to ask them to move so they would not be in my pictures. I had barely any time to set up decorations. The air-conditioning was broke supposedly in the whole restaurant they could not even provide fans so my guests were very hot and uncomfortable. The upstairs was supposed to be our rain plan but we asked if we could have everything up there and the GM would not allow us to move to the upstairs that was air-conditioned and not being used but I was allowed to change into my dress upstairs. We were told it cost more to have it upstairs. I felt like considering the air conditioner not working they should have moved us. Honestly I could go on and on but I'm too exhausted! I felt like I missed out on a lot of photo opportunities and moments bc of how hot and uncomfortable everyone was!“

“In my humble opinion, I must state that my total experience at this “Exceptional Restaurant “ was 10 STARS! The staff greeted when I arrived with a smile and I must admit that the CRAP TRAP has a philosophy of making sure you will have an individual who is a Professional who will advise you and answer any questions about their “SUPERIOR” menu! Our waitress never missed a beat when it came to advising me the in her opinion, I should choose their famous Crab Cake that was stuffed with crab and no fillers! One thing that you will observe, their salad was so fresh and the rolls & muffins were homemade & hot! You have several choices of side dishes & I selected the apple sauce that had to be prepared in house, and the frech fries were crispy and also seasoned perfectly! Our table was spotless, and the whole restaurant had a staff who never rushed you, but was always there to refill you water! I have dined in 5 Star Restaurants on my vacations & business trips, and all I must state is for being my 1ST Visit to the CRAP TRAP, I plan to make it a weekly location and a priority on my “Schedule”! I have wanted to dine there before, but I can add there parking lot suggested that there was a long wait, When I entered, I was so impressed by the size of the inside accommodation! I must apologize for my velours review, but I truly feel that this restaurant is a “GEM”“

“We tried Mike’s while on vacation in 2023 and knew we would be back! Worth the drive from OCNJ. Takeout is packed very well and portions are always enough for leftovers. Really like it here!“

“We come to this restaurant 3 times each summer and have been doing that for 6/7 years. Never been disappointed until Friday night. Both mine and my wife food really disappointed . The grouper was under cooked and the BLT scampi was nothing like I had before. I always give this restaurant 5 stars because we really like it. Im little sad even to write this.“

“We threw a joint 60th/30th birthday bash at The Bellevue Tavern in their private room, and it was an absolute blast! The private room was gorgeous — big surround windows giving us tons of natural light, a dance floor, and tables that worked perfectly for groups from 4 to 10.
The staff crushed it, super attentive servers and a bartender who kept everyone happy… our signature cocktails were premade and ready to roll — no waiting in line!! The food was amazing, plentiful and delicious- especially the crab cakes. Plus, we got to bring in our own DJ and dance all night (though they would’ve piped in music if we wanted).
Special shout-out to Dennis, the owner, and his son, they were fantastic from the time of booking straight through to the very end of the party. They (along with the servers) constantly checked in during the night, totally hands-on and making sure everything ran smoothly, but never in an intrusive way. Our guests are still raving about it. If you’re looking for a spot to celebrate, this is the place. Bellevue Tavern nailed it!“

“The wife and I were out and about and decided to try the Waterside location in Lakewood Ranch Fl. I have to say im a bit of a critic because we have family in Maine and have tasted all ends of the spectrum of lobster rolls from amazing to terrible and this place makes a great Lobster rolls with a spot on price comparable to Maine and other restaurants in the area. The staff member we dealt with was super nice I wish I would have got his name, but I do know he was from Jersey and had great knowledge knew the product well. We had 2 Connecticut rolls and they were great. I would say this place is worth checking out. Theres only outdoor seating, but you can easily walk around waterside and find a spot to kick back and enjoy or walk out enjoy their outdoor seating and it will complement their lobster rolls very well. They also have nice little selection of beers/beverages and a whole N/A fridge too.“

“I didn’t get any pics i am so sad about that! First i would like to start off that JoJo was an amazing server. The clams were delicious. We ordered calamari which was extra crispy! My husband had the fried flounder, my daughter had the lobster roll and my son had the lobster grilled cheese. The lobster was delightful but the grilled cheese was outstanding. I had the homemade crabcake! Wow! So Good !!“

“Stopped by to pick up some shrimp for my first attempt at a seafood boil and this place had everything super fresh and the price was lower than we expected for Jersey Shore. Ended up getting 4 pounds of peeled shrimp, 2 bags of crab legs/claws and fried flounder sandwiches that were also delicious. Our boil turned out amazing all of our guests raved about it. Could have even gotten all of our produce here if we wanted to they had everything.“

“Had a fantastic dinner at Carmen’s tonight. This time of year, let’s face it with the end of the season in sight for many establishments, can be a lot like playing Russian roulette with your money. I was slightly worried, after agreeing with my parents on our dinner destination (I’ve cooked last two nights), that we would be getting frozen leftovers from the season that was..I’ve never had a bad meal at Carmen’s for the record, but I was skeptical. I was way off. Service was awesome, food was fresh and delicious, and I left super full with leftovers. The crab cakes were awesome and my crab stuffed flounder was perfect! This place is proof you don’t need to be fancy to be incredible. As a bonus , Carmen, the 95 year old owner was hanging out in the dining room.“

“every year my extended family and i go ( 20+ people) here during the summer and the service is amazing. the seafood here is amazing along with all their other food. I remember coming here as a kid and having a great time playing in a sandbox they had. I recommend lobster, crab, and chicken parm.“

“We got the southend combo with the fried fish, shrimp, scallops, and french fries. It was all incredible, the fried scallops were probably the best I’ve ever had. It was a 20 minute wait for them to drop the order but it was worth the wait for them to fry it on the spot. Plus the staff was super kind and we had some dessert before dinner with a mango gelati from Mike’s ice cream next door. Overall a great experience.“
