The onions are caramelized perfectly so they don't get mushy. The roast beef is lean, tender, and flavorful and the fresh horseradish gives plenty of bite. Hasn't changed in 20+ years; comfort food that spans the generation!“

“Absolutely divine and nostalgic

Before I begin, finding the actual entrance to the restaurant was quite confusing. Our shuttle driver just dropped us off at the entrance but once you go through the doors there’s a few other doors and no one was really there to greet the group or direct us where to go. We came later than anticipated (about an hour before closing).

There was no wait, we got a table by the window with a view of the dock. It was very ambient in the restaurant and it’s quite a large place. Our waitress was really kind and informative. I was quite impressed that the prices were reasonable for the fresh seafood. I ordered the special they had of the day and all the food (dinner entrees) came with complimentary bread for the table, side salad, and two sides to go with your meal. It was so good!

I’ve never had grilled tuna but it was absolutely delicious 🤤 the mashed potatoes were to die for too.

With all the food you won’t go hungry, I had to box up the little bit I had left to take home.“

“When I am at the shore and I think seafood, I think Back Bay Seafood. Honestly, best crab cakes I ever had. And let’s not forget the broiled scallops, and stuffed shrimp, and the list goes on! Amazing food, high quality, and excellent customer service. Not to mention, family-owned business that appreciates their customers and are dedicated to providing quality meals, the kind you eat with your friends and family and make those down-the-shore memories. “Worst experience of my life! I had my micro wedding here and was charged for things I didn't get. No drinks were verbally offered they just had a separate table with pitchers of water on it. We paid $100 extra to have a table set up with lemonade and or iced tea pre ceremony. I was supposed to be able to set up my wedding favors on this table as well. The seafood dish was supposed to have scallops in it and we noticed they omitted them. In the private beach area where we were supposed to have our ceremony they had an event going on up to 15 minutes before my ceremony. They had picnic tables alongside the ceremony just overlaping and pushed against the fence I had to ask them to move so they would not be in my pictures. I had barely any time to set up decorations. The air-conditioning was broke supposedly in the whole restaurant they could not even provide fans so my guests were very hot and uncomfortable. The upstairs was supposed to be our rain plan but we asked if we could have everything up there and the GM would not allow us to move to the upstairs that was air-conditioned and not being used but I was allowed to change into my dress upstairs. We were told it cost more to have it upstairs. I felt like considering the air conditioner not working they should have moved us. Honestly I could go on and on but I'm too exhausted! I felt like I missed out on a lot of photo opportunities and moments bc of how hot and uncomfortable everyone was!“

“I have used Lucky Bones’s Eric three times in the last five years for catering parties at my home/in my yard. Twice I also booked waitresses with my party. The food is always delicious, the service reliable. We ran out of chicken tenders for the kids once and they brought over a new batch! Everything is set up as ordered and arrives on time. You can’t go wrong with them for your party. My father’s small after-funeral reception was in their back room and my husband and I eat at the restaurant at least once a month. Highly recommend.“

“The wife and I were out and about and decided to try the Waterside location in Lakewood Ranch Fl. I have to say im a bit of a critic because we have family in Maine and have tasted all ends of the spectrum of lobster rolls from amazing to terrible and this place makes a great Lobster rolls with a spot on price comparable to Maine and other restaurants in the area. The staff member we dealt with was super nice I wish I would have got his name, but I do know he was from Jersey and had great knowledge knew the product well. We had 2 Connecticut rolls and they were great. I would say this place is worth checking out. Theres only outdoor seating, but you can easily walk around waterside and find a spot to kick back and enjoy or walk out enjoy their outdoor seating and it will complement their lobster rolls very well. They also have nice little selection of beers/beverages and a whole N/A fridge too.“

“Stopped by to pick up some shrimp for my first attempt at a seafood boil and this place had everything super fresh and the price was lower than we expected for Jersey Shore. Ended up getting 4 pounds of peeled shrimp, 2 bags of crab legs/claws and fried flounder sandwiches that were also delicious. Our boil turned out amazing all of our guests raved about it. Could have even gotten all of our produce here if we wanted to they had everything.“

“We've ordered 'Build Your Own Pot' twice from Topsail, OC. All fresh seafood...lobster, scallops, shrimp and crab. We highly recommend. It was so easy to steam on the stovetop! We grilled steaks and had a DELICIOUS dinner for eight at our shore house. We will be ordering again for this 4th of July!“

“Well, this summer we decided to take a trip to Wildwood. We did some research regarding places to stay and of course restaurants. Well, we found a very nice motel. Well anyway, one morning we went out to one of the recommended restaurants, and happened to notice this restaurant across the street called pasta pesto. We noticed there was some signage outside regarding Tuesday night martinis special Thursday night prime rib special so we decided to venture there on Tuesday night. Well first of all the surroundings were very inviting along with a very relaxing atmosphere. So we had the martinis specials, which were very cheap and actually very very good. The service was awesome and we met the one lady there named Peg who is very very nice. Well, then, we decided to go back Thursday night for prime rib night. He had the prime rib, which was more then he even expected and I had the ravioli with meatballs. Both dishes were very, very good again. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was very relaxing plus it was very busy that Thursday night, which I’m not surprised. So I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Wildwood area. We definitely would go there again for dinner. Unfortunately, I only took a few pictures, and hopefully it captured the relaxing atmosphere of this establishment.“

“Really good kid friendly place to eat and get some seafood on the boardwalk. The lobster roll and the fried shrimp both were great. I like that they have a to go counter for a quick bite as well as sit down option for dinner. We will definitely eat here again.“

“Don’t pay attention to any poor reviews. I grew up by the beach. Local. Grew up eating seafood my entire life. Lived in california, worked at seafood restaurants. This place is absolutely delicious. Their portions are great, and their prices are the absolute best you will find. If you go into some of the towns expect to pay double their prices, for the same seafood. The crab cake sandwich is a go to. You get two sides…Yes sometimes it’s busy, but it’s summer at the shore. Diamond in the rough. 10/10“

“Hi I want to sing my praises to two of your waitresses that went above and beyond during our meals while vacationing in Wild Woods. Our first Experience and 2nd we had the pleasure of having “Niki” and truly we could not ask for better service than she offered,her tone,her understanding and the way she treated my toddler is immeasurable and the small details that were paid attention to were not found in other establishments we tried. I hope she knows how valued and appreciated she is by our family! We stopped in for one last meal before heading back to MD and we were cared for. A waitress I don’t re call a name but long curly hair,and a smile that lit up a room and was welcoming,her table side manner was fantastic she joked with us and also treated my daughter remarkably well where again other establishments frowned upon her questions or acted as she wasn’t talking. Furthermore,Noticing the whole atmosphere was a fantastic vibe, Everyone was smiling and working as a team. Can’t wait to return !“
