The onions are caramelized perfectly so they don't get mushy. The roast beef is lean, tender, and flavorful and the fresh horseradish gives plenty of bite. Hasn't changed in 20+ years; comfort food that spans the generation!“

“When I am at the shore and I think seafood, I think Back Bay Seafood. Honestly, best crab cakes I ever had. And let’s not forget the broiled scallops, and stuffed shrimp, and the list goes on! Amazing food, high quality, and excellent customer service. Not to mention, family-owned business that appreciates their customers and are dedicated to providing quality meals, the kind you eat with your friends and family and make those down-the-shore memories. “We ordered the take out and ate in the back along the water. The food was good which is why I didn't get any photos 😅.
The crab cakes are good, but the butterfly shrip with Crab gives you the most bang for your buck IMO. You get 3 large shrimp and each shrimp seems to have 1/2 of a crab cake on it.

The snapper turtle soup was good but very salty.
There are 3 other resturants that share the same seating area so I would check them all out and see which you would like the most.“

“Worst experience of my life! I had my micro wedding here and was charged for things I didn't get. No drinks were verbally offered they just had a separate table with pitchers of water on it. We paid $100 extra to have a table set up with lemonade and or iced tea pre ceremony. I was supposed to be able to set up my wedding favors on this table as well. The seafood dish was supposed to have scallops in it and we noticed they omitted them. In the private beach area where we were supposed to have our ceremony they had an event going on up to 15 minutes before my ceremony. They had picnic tables alongside the ceremony just overlaping and pushed against the fence I had to ask them to move so they would not be in my pictures. I had barely any time to set up decorations. The air-conditioning was broke supposedly in the whole restaurant they could not even provide fans so my guests were very hot and uncomfortable. The upstairs was supposed to be our rain plan but we asked if we could have everything up there and the GM would not allow us to move to the upstairs that was air-conditioned and not being used but I was allowed to change into my dress upstairs. We were told it cost more to have it upstairs. I felt like considering the air conditioner not working they should have moved us. Honestly I could go on and on but I'm too exhausted! I felt like I missed out on a lot of photo opportunities and moments bc of how hot and uncomfortable everyone was!“

“Wish I could go back to the days when "Old Man Menz" and his daughter would serve us his fabulous meals and chat with us. What a family! We ate there soooooo many times and my family just loved it. “The wife and I were out and about and decided to try the Waterside location in Lakewood Ranch Fl. I have to say im a bit of a critic because we have family in Maine and have tasted all ends of the spectrum of lobster rolls from amazing to terrible and this place makes a great Lobster rolls with a spot on price comparable to Maine and other restaurants in the area. The staff member we dealt with was super nice I wish I would have got his name, but I do know he was from Jersey and had great knowledge knew the product well. We had 2 Connecticut rolls and they were great. I would say this place is worth checking out. Theres only outdoor seating, but you can easily walk around waterside and find a spot to kick back and enjoy or walk out enjoy their outdoor seating and it will complement their lobster rolls very well. They also have nice little selection of beers/beverages and a whole N/A fridge too.“

“Joe's Fish Co. is an old vacation favorite of ours. The outdoor seating is comfortable and the service is always prompt and friendly. They're located at the edge of the amusement pier so it can be a little loud at times but it's fun watching kids (and adults) enjoy the rides while you're dining.
On our most recent visit during our June vacation we started with Joe's crab dip. The crab dip or the giant pretzel are our reliable favorite appetizers here and this time the dish was the same as always. It's mellow and crabby and goes well with the chips and bread it's served with.
I ordered the Korean shrimp slider appetizer. The shrimp, the sauce and the slaw were very good. I do wish they had toasted the buns they were served on. They were stone cold and tasted like they'd just been pulled out of a bread bag.
My husband had the shrimp skewer appetizer and thought it was excellent.
The combination of those three appetizers was plenty of food for our dinner.
Joe's is so close to being a fine restaurant that I always wish they'd spice up the menu and pay attention to little things like the bread on the sliders and make it to being as excellent as I think they could be.“

“If you ever picked up a seashell on the nearby shores so pristine it's shocking how everyone else overlooked it, you understand what it is to eat at Fish and Fancy. Nestled in the Villas, the exterior's understated quaintness might make it easy to drive by at first. The portions are large, the food is fantastic, and the employees are always so polite. While I will miss the mac and cheese they served during lent, if you're grading a restaurant on their sides then you haven't been to a restaurant with a good main dish. With flavors on par with (or better than) some waterfront restaurants, they sell you on the dish itself and are able to keep their prices very competitive. I've never eaten there, only taken out, so I can't speak on behalf of their dining quarters. But I'm sure it's more than adequate.“

“Stopped by to pick up some shrimp for my first attempt at a seafood boil and this place had everything super fresh and the price was lower than we expected for Jersey Shore. Ended up getting 4 pounds of peeled shrimp, 2 bags of crab legs/claws and fried flounder sandwiches that were also delicious. Our boil turned out amazing all of our guests raved about it. Could have even gotten all of our produce here if we wanted to they had everything.“

“We’ve been waiting a long time to try this “hidden gem” although it’s not so hidden anymore as Philly Inky’s Craig Laban named it one of 20 places for seafood down the Jersey Shore this month. My wife had the famous scallops and thought they were delicious, reminded her of classic, fresh taste of the shore scallops from youth. My burger was good. Fries were tasty. Drinks were proper. Service was attentive. The scallops alone are reason to return.“

“I have used Lucky Bones’s Eric three times in the last five years for catering parties at my home/in my yard. Twice I also booked waitresses with my party. The food is always delicious, the service reliable. We ran out of chicken tenders for the kids once and they brought over a new batch! Everything is set up as ordered and arrives on time. You can’t go wrong with them for your party. My father’s small after-funeral reception was in their back room and my husband and I eat at the restaurant at least once a month. Highly recommend.“

“The food is decent but this location is all about where you are seated. Previously we were under the blue awning adjacent to Two Mile Landing and it was awesome. This time we were seated back by the bar in the middle of the deck. Tables were packed tight and people on top of you . Probably the worst outdoor seating area in the entire place. Highly recommend you be specific on where you want to sit instead of just selecting outdoor area as this was awful.“

Our first Experience and 2nd we had the pleasure of having “Niki” and truly we could not ask for better service than she offered,her tone,her understanding and the way she treated my toddler is immeasurable and the small details that were paid attention to were not found in other establishments we tried. I hope she knows how valued and appreciated she is by our family! We stopped in for one last meal before heading back to MD and we were cared for.
