“Welcome to Montclair Tony Boys! Had the pleasure of stopping by here yesterday to try out one of many sandwich options on their menu. Opted for the avocado toast & a side of fries & it didn’t disappoint. Was filling without being too heavy & very tasty! The fries were also not oily or greasy. Browsing the menu you’ll find alot of different flavors & combos…and the manager also shared that all the cutlet options can be created with an eggplant substitute! Definitely give this place a try. The vibe is chill & artsy, lots of seating, great central location & 3 parking lots within a 5 min walk. You definitely won’t regret it :)“

“This is such a great place. The food is wonderful the atmosphere is great and service is out of this world. I would recommend if your sick or just a soup lover to get their chicken and rice soup. Its thick and hearty with shredded chicken. The fresh mozzarella is like 10 dollars for this small ball but worth it. They make great spaghetti sauce and have wonderful sandwiches too but I'm cutting back on bread so I can't say I've had them that much“

“They knew who I was as soon as I walked in. They got the order right. The young gentleman that put my subs together gave me extra napkins, menus, and plastic. He was just so friendly and kind. The sandwiches were huge! We had to save one for the next day.

Parking: Parking is right there..you can pull right up to the door..there was no congestion..easy in and out.“

“I would bring a bus group from the Detroit area every year before the pandemic for tours in the New York area.
I would have to order 56 sandwiches with 3 to 4 different choices.
Our bus wouldn't arrive to our hotel until after 8:00 pm
(after your normal business hours)
Upon our arrival, someone would deliver our lunches that evening for the next day.
I have always appreciated the extra mile that they went for our bus group.
The sandwiches were always delicious.

“Everything is good but the owner has to fix the toilet flapped chain. This is the second time in 2 months that I’ve been there and I found the bowl of the toilet dirty because the chain of the toilet’s handle don’t pull nothing. Also, the liquid soap bottle is empty and the paper toilet dispenser is empty.

Kid-friendliness: The owner and their helpers are respectfully and friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: The store ground it’s at the same level of the sidewalk.“

“I am a charter pilot. I had a flight from Toronto Canada to Teterboro NJ (with a quick turn) to Guyana South America to Miami FL. It was a 16+ hour day. Only two pilots, no flight attendant and no food for us. The day before, I contacted Matthew at the store, ordered and paid for two sandwiches and the Airport Staff at Signature Flight support West was kind enough to pick it up. Half way to Guyana I opened the bag and found three subs and two containers of cookies. I thought we got someone elses order but no, Matthew had given us an extra sub and cookies for the long trip. And they were delicious.
Service is one thing, but he went way above and beyond, and it made our day, which was long and grueling.

Honestly, I’m not sure what it is, not sure who is doing what, but everybody who works behind the counter are some of the friendliest people in food service I’ve ever met! They are genuinely sweet people. Seriously, when you go in there, just strike up a little light conversation. They’re so nice! A pleasure! Every single one I’ve ever encountered behind the counter! “Modest, sub shack with on-street parking near busy intersection of Clifton. This spot is a hidden gem serving up delicious, fresh, thinly sliced cold cuts and hot hero sandwiches for the locals. The shop is small, and no real dining area, but they put the attention where it belongs--on the subs! The rolls they use are soft and chewy. Onions are shaved, lettuce Shredded, nice size tomato, oil vinegar, and seasonings. Boom! It's perfection. And I don't know what I appreciate more, the smiling service the 2 guys serve up with the food or the outrageously reasonable pricing, but seriously guys, go out and support this little shop 2 doors down from Mr. Cupcake. You won't be disappointed, just thank me later.“

“I really love the North Haledon, NJ location best. The food is really great at that location because Nick the asst manager is amazing. I accidentally rated this lower as I confused it with a subpar Jersey Mike's which this location is not.“

The veggies are so good too, it’s a great value for what you get and there are 2 people that work there who are amazingly kind, professional and wonderful customer service.

Vegetarian options: They have watercress!!! Amazing.

“The owner and staff are relatively friendly. The business does not seem to get much incoming traffic. They do have regulars, which is good. Their menu is a fairly decent size and selection. The environment is quiet, peaceful, and very clean! They offer a variety of bottled beverages, sides, chips, and a small selection of desserts. My dad and I ordered the 24-inch Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak, which was chicken with buffalo wing sauce and blue cheese sauce. The buffalo sauce had a kick, although it was not too spicy. The blue cheese sauce was creamy and shockingly tasty. This especially surprised me since I do not like blue cheese, and I enjoyed theirs. The owner was nice enough to offer lettuce, tomato, and onion. We opted out since my dad does not eat any of those. Otherwise, I would have added them. I was also unsure if they would have put them on only half the sandwich. The size we ordered was the largest of the three sandwich sizes.The three sizes are Small, Primo, and Whole. The sandwich was considerably delightful. The bread was warm, fresh, and toasted. The chicken seemed to be grilled white meat; particularly, I believe it was breast meat. In fact they even put a great portion of chicken within the sandwich. The buffalo sauce was not too spicy, just a little kick and pretty tolerable. My dad felt the drink he had with his half-help relieved the spice and felt the drink was needed to help eat the sandwich to avoid any spice. The blue cheese was creamy and really tasty, as previously mentioned. The prepacked dessert(the killer brownie company "flavor kitchen sink")was definitely not the highlight of this place. I felt it was slightly soft and crunchy. Just particularly unappetizing, and I would not get it again. Overall, the experience was quite enjoyable and pleasant. It was nice to try a new place while exploring a new area!“

The staff are very efficient in what they do there’s nothing to not love about this place they have amazing sandwiches hot/cold dinner/ breakfast they have it all ! “This place is what you make of it. They have everything you could possibly want. They can make to order (if you slow down and communicate clearly) - better for less busy hours. You can get their pre-made food or select their established sandwiches - better for busier hours. Choose your own adventure and enjoy a day off from cooking!

They have a few seats in back - great for rainy days or to stop and slow down or have a home for a bit between classes/activities.

Today I visited this location at lunch time. We all know how that can sometimes go during peak hours. Not this place.

1. The team is totally in sync & super nice.
2. They are fast & efficient with getting your order done.
3. The person dressing your order keeps their entire area IMMACULATE. I’ve noticed other locations get sloppy in this area, not here!!
4. The tables and dine-in area are CLEAN.

The place is bright and clean. This will be my go to stop when I am in the area making deliveries. Huge parking lot to park my truck, easy in and out.Also I saw they had a sign that say Buy 2 get 1 Free pizza. Next time I should try the Subway pizza too.“
