“Went for the steak omakase for a birthday dinner and the meal was a great experience. High quality meat, great uplifted versions of classic Korean food, and attentive service. Gaonnuri continues to be one of my favourite upscale Korean restaurants I want to bring people to for a good memory.“

We ordered the 5-6 meal and 2 appetizers. And it was Plenty for everyone. Half way thru the meal my 10yr old leans over and tells me. "This is the best night of my life." He's a foodie. We got shu mai which was delicious, spicy mushroom dumping was not my favorite but my partner loved it, Shanghai pork dumplings were juicy, the BBQ pork roast was absolutely diviiiine a must try and the spicy cucumbers was just a nice refresher on top of everything. “One of the few AYCE KBBQ spots in the area. Even on a Friday afternoon, this place gets really busy to the point where you have to wait for a table. The price per person is relatively fair compared to other places but I feel like you get fewer options for the Lunch menu. Normally, I would prefer more options but this time I liked having fewer options since I ordered more of the same meats. Rice, side dishes, dipping sauces, and fresh lettuce are all included in the AYCE. Drinks are not.“

“Visited Jongro BBQ recently and it was a wonderful dinner outing. Started off with their Chicken BBQ, which was tender and well-marinated, not dry at all. The highlight for me was their marinated pork belly!! My favorite!! We also had the kimchi pancake. While many rave about it, I found it good but not extraordinary. It's well-flavored and a solid choice, though not as spicy or unique as I expected. Service was excellent; staff were attentive and helpful, especially since the restaurant was busy. They made sure our meats were cooked properly and our drinks were topped up. It's a bit noisy, but that adds to the fun group dining experience. Jongro BBQ is definitely a place I'd recommend for anyone craving authentic Korean BBQ!! One of the best I had!!“

They specialize in Korean BBQ, but with a focus on pork belly, and let me tell you, it's next-level.The star of the show is definitely the 60-day aged pork belly. It's bursting with flavor, and you can really taste the difference! The meat quality in general is fantastic, and the staff is friendly and super fun. It's the perfect spot to grab some soju and pig out with friends.They even have their own beer brewed in Brooklyn. Definitely recommend trying it out if you're looking for something new. “We enjoyed this restaurant. Would really give this a 4.5. We came here at about 1:05 pm on a Saturday for a 1:30 pm reservation. We were about to get seated a 5 min or so after arriving which was nice. It was surprising to see how busy it was for lunch. Due to their business, it took us several minutes to get our menus and such. We decided quickly what to eat and were able to put our order in quickly. We had the dandan noodles, soup dumplings, soup wontons, ginger spinach and rice. Everything was really tasty. We were seated in the larger, back area of the restaurant and it was a bit loud but what counted was how good the food was. Would highly recommend. I spent a lot of time in China and this food tasted like I was right back there.“

“I couldn't take a picture because I was busy eating. The best raw ribs I've had since coming to the US! It's extremely delicious. People who like meat will like thicker meat. The meat is thick and soft, has a good chew and is full of juice. Not a single flaw. It's not a soju restaurant, it's a rib restaurant. Lastly, I enjoyed the clam sauna and ate kalguksu (noodle soup) in cool clam soup. It's been 7-8 years since I stopped eating kalguksu, cold noodles, and japchae to cut out carbohydrates, but this soup isn't one I can tolerate because it's low in carbohydrates. I ate all the delicious radish radish without any regrets. I promise to try yukhoe sometime soon. Photos were uploaded then. ?“

“Great location for my son's bday dinner. The quality of the food (both cooked and uncooked) was outstanding. The food was also perfectly seasoned. Kudos to the bartender mixing the drinks, very tastefully done. The location was convenient, street parking with meters till 7pm. And lastly, Thea our server was very pleasant and attentive. I didn't rate the ambience outstanding, only because there's no "wow" factor regarding the interior design (like for photo opts), but the establishment was quite clean and well-kept. The owners are so kind to everyone and for the HS kids they always help if they are "short" in cash. The wings are always a hit. After 8PM, it's a bit easier to do walk in but still might need reservations.Size of the restaurant is small with only few tables. I'd imagine it will have a more cozy ambience for snowy winter evenings elevating the dining experience.Food wise, it brought back good old feelings of having skewers out in Korea. I'd bring my own Baijiu to complete the food pairing since they don't sell those in the restaurant.“

I called numerous times to get a refund on those two items and was met with a “let me talk to my manager” with no follow up. We’d order every night from here if they could perform consistently.“

I thought it was seasonal for Thanksgiving but I'm not complaining. It's reliably my second meat along with ribs for my go-to 2 meat sampler order. Ambience is the same as other MQ location. Black paint and lots of wood. Not much to say there. It's a bit smaller than some other locations but chances are you're taking good back to your office. I'm writing this review mainly to give a shout out for the customer service. They proactively communicated that it would be a few minutes for the ribs today which I was fine with. Didn't mind having an excuse to not return to the chaos at work right away so I was fine, and I like to think I didn't look pissed or anything. But they did their best to make up for the wait, offering a drink and adding cornbread to my order. Small gestures but they were greatly appreciated.“

“I ordered the Mushroom Adobo Bowl online with a topping of BBQ tofu and thoroughly enjoyed it.The mushrooms seem nicely sautéed along with jasmine rice steamed better than most places produce. The pickled radish and seasoned string beans are chilled and add a nice contrast in texture and temperature to the meal. The tofu was of the very soft variety with a mild flavor, which went well with the dish.It’s also worth noting that menu does include meat and fish options if you’re looking for them but I was surprised how satisfied I waswith the fish as a whole. The responsible packaging and cutlery is also a nice touch. That being said the slight drawbacks are when arriving they didn’t seem to have a dedicated host and name taking/reservations seemed to be a little chaotic.
