“Found this hidden gem while I was going to home depot nearby. I paid $6.95 for an amazing pernil, jarritos (soda), and an empanada. Definitely worth coming here. It's cheap and taste amazing. Other places I would have probably spent $15+.“
“Best cuban food!!!! The elote was grilled and seasoned to perfection! The plantains were also crispy and soooo flavorful! Iris was very attentive and super kind! Service was fast and efficient! The spicy margarita was delicious! Overall, great experience, awesome good and outstanding service!“
“We loved this place, but they kinda forgot us for awhile so it took our food an hour to come out. Our server got our drinks and appetizer so fast, then he disappeared and someone else finally came and took our order and gave us water. But they were all very friendly and it was a very fun place with great food. Loved the garlic chicken and def get a side of maduros! So, so good. Chicken was fall apart tender and garlic sauce was outstanding. My boyfriend loved his meal tool, ground beef with an egg on it. Delicious mojito too! One caveat- it's VERY loud. We loved that, the live music was wonderful. But even before the music it was very loud music they played in the restaurant. It was fun, but be prepared for noise. Enjoy!“
“Victor s Cafe is by far one of the best restaurants in NYC. From the friendly staff to the oustanding food n drinks. Met with a few old n dear friends of mine. No better place to meet than one of my favorite restaurants. The waiters Darwin and Carlos (Charlie); were friendly , attentive, pleasant, efficient and so willing to make sure we had an excellent dining experience .Continuously checking on us and making sure all was well. The food was amazing; the drinks were phenomenal. We ordered a pitcher of both ; white and red Sangria. We were all pleased with the dishes we ordered. From Sea bass and Shrimp dishes; to Pernil(pork) and Ropa vieja (shredded beef). The flavor was on point and all the food was eaten. Empty plates from all 4parties. The chef Jose Luis was kind enough to come out to our table and we were able to personally thank him for a job well done. My friends will definitely be back to Victors Cafe. They will as well refer people they know to come and try some good food s ; whenever in NYC. A reservation is something I would suggest for it gets pretty crowded. The atmosphere / ambiance is wonderful and a place you would be happy to have been able to experience. I have been coming to Victor s cafe for years and truly it’s a place that doesn’t disappoint.Enjoy your visit there; an experience you will most certainly remember. Last but not least; order the sampler for appetizer. It will give you a taste and variety of different and delicious foods.“
“Never been a fan of this chain but decided to stop by at this one today and I’m so glad I did! The staff was phenomenal and so helpful with me coming with a special needs kid in a stroller and the food was off the charts good! I’ll definitely be back at this location again ?“
“We went for brunch and got the croquetas, the tortilla cubana, and the huevos rancheros. The tortilla cubana (omelette with chorizo, manchego, and spinach) was great, but the potatoes served on the side were just ok. The huevos rancheros were good as well. The croquetas were very heavily breaded -- I would not order them again. I had the passionfruit mojito, which was good but a bit too sweet for my taste. Service was good!“

“We staying next door at the Muse and I walked the 20 steps to Margon to get a cafe con leche and tostada cubana. I was blown away. As born and raised Miamian, I can honestly tell you that the best cafe con leche is found at Margon in Manhattan. Hands down. And the ambiance reminds me of the old-school cafeterias and bakeries my grandfather and dad would take me to as a little girl. Keep doing what you’re doing .. loads of blessings and suerte, your way!“
“The Blended Bistro is amazing. Everything I’ve had has been absolutely delicious. My favorite things are the ham croquettes, the Cuban chicken sandwich, the pernil and I can go on!! If you haven’t been there this is a place you need to run and check out. Staff is great, place is adorable, cozy and feels like home. Owner Maddy, has knocked it out of the park with all her recipes.“
“I had lunch at this hidden gem. The restaurant is super nicely decorated and gives a very warm and welcoming feeling. The food is the perfect combination of Cuba and Asia. I highly recommend the spring rolls and wontons as appetizers. The lobster noodles was great as well.“
“I want to thank Henry for taking my last minute Thanksgiving order. First time I ordered And it won't be the last!! The food was delicious and so fresh. I was hoping to have leftovers for the next day, but my guests had seconds and thirds and did not leave a grain of rice!!!!“
“Had a perfect experience at Bstro 38. Food was tasty, full of flavor, well cooked, and great quality. The drinks were flawless, well balanced and strong without the alcohol being overpowering. The service was impeccable-- excellent restaurant service standards. Our server (Starling) was friendly, attentive, and checked with us in a good cadence. The staff worked really well together and created a great experience. The space was dimly lit. It was inviting, warm, and casual.“
“Cuban restaurant in Bergenfield, NJ Cuban family restaurant in New Jersey with ample parking space. My wife and I were greeted and served with great kindness by an efficient and bilingual staff. The restaurant is spacious, and its ambiance is refined. Its décor combines a display of original works by Cuban painters and Oriental vases. The menu, prepared by a Cuban chef, is diverse, with various starters, main courses, and desserts. As main course I ordered lacón, the kind I remembered eating in Cuba, which is not easy to find in New York. My wife had sea bass. Our dishes were all very good. We were very pleased. My wife favorite was a starter called “Discovery”. I particularly enjoyed the flan. Our only recommendation has to do with the music, which was only Salsa while we were there. In our opinion, the addition of other types of Cuban music could enhance the experience. The owners do not have a liquor license yet. Forewarned, we were able to bring our own bottle of wine. We had a great time. Highly recommended.“
“Always a great vibe, I'm definitely an afterhours kind of customer, after work, needing a late night snack because you forgot to eat that day. Service is great, food is amazing, drinks are good too. Always be to come by and show love when I can.“

I highly recommend Casa Cubana to anyone looking for an exceptional service that comes directly to your door. Without a doubt, I will be requesting their services again in the future.“
“Good was great but unfortunately it was also too pricey. There’s absolutely no reason why a Cuban sandwich should cost more than an average dinner meal. It’s a great place for lunch. Just be ready for the outrageous prices?Dietary restrictions: If you’re on a diet? I recommend drinking a lot of water and the steak sandwich minus the breadParking: Place is overall great and the food taste awesome. It’s obvious the cook injects love into the food. Upon eating you will feel the explosion of flavor in your mouth no-matter what you order. But I will repeat what I said in the beginning of this; be ready to donate a body part.Kid-friendliness: As for your kids? Yes they have child seats you can tie your kids up in them.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s ramps for any unfortunate soul who needs one“
“A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. We can visit the place multiple times and never get tired. #supportlocal“
“The only issue was trying to get someone to speak English on the phone when I called. After talking to 3 different females, the fourth one spoke English. And the valley people lost my car keys ticket. I had to go thru all the keys to fi d mine.“
“Delicious and authentic Puerto Rican food. The yellow rice is soft and tasty; it is very well made. The pernil is also very well cooked but does lack a bit of seasoning, it still taste good but I think they cook can add a bit more seasoning to it and it will be PERFECT! I always feel like I am back at home whenever I order from Mis Raices.“
“Although I experienced a wait of about 40 minutes on a bustling Saturday, the exceptional dining experience that followed made it well worth the delay. From the moment I stepped inside only experienced good things. Our server Leo was knowledgeable, attentive and made great recommendations. The appetizer was amazing, can’t remember the name but will attach a photo. The entries were cooked to perfection I ordered Ensalada de la casa con churrascoFilete de pescado con cangrejo y vegetales. The flavor were bold and authentic, and the portions were generous. I found the price very decent. Top-notch service, exceptional cuisine, and cleanliness - Rumba Cubana truly deserves a 5-star rating. Can't wait to come back!"“
“If you love Spanish food, especially Cuban food, then this is the place for you and your family. My one big gripe is the seating is too close to each other. I don't like having to hear private conversations of other diners. Either expand the place or minimize the seating. This is an issue at ALL their locations. Also, it's difficult for someone in a wheelchair to get around.“
“My boyfriend loves red snapper so I am consistently seeking places that serve it - on the bone where possible. We just so happened to be in the area when I found it on the menu. Went once and now regularly drive an hour just to come here for the red snapper and Pollo al ajillo which is my favorite (huge garlic fan). I want to explore other items on the menu but I can't because I absolutely love that dish. The happy hour during the week is also fantastic, he drives and I indulge in mojitos, which is a huge win for me. The happy hour apps are great too! We've tried them all.“
“My all-time favorite neighborhood restaurant. Grew up eating here, the food and service is always top notch. El Unico has catered countless events for family and friends with the most generous servings at an affordable price, if you know you know!“
“From former owners of cafe Cortadito, Husband-Wife combo Patricia and Ricardo have returned with a truly remarkable restaurant in a tremendous location on the lower east side. There are no bad dishes here, but some standouts include the plantain chip guacamole, steak and eggs and the Cuban sandwich. This is my favorite restaurant in nyc !“
“First off I love the remodel. I’ve been here several times and always enjoyed the food. It was my first time coming for dinner and we were seated right away. Our waiter was super patient and nice. For appetizers we tried the toston montado which is the skirt steak, onion jam with chimichurri sauce over a crispy plantain along with the yucca frita. The toston montado is a must try- so savory and yummy! For the entree I had the ropa vieja with beans and yellow rice- it was delish. Food is always spot on!“
“Excellent date night for my wife and I! 10 stars top notch on everything from the moment we drove up! 1st, Service was absolutely incredible and made us very comfortable! Alberto helped us through the night and was excellent in doing so! We appreciate him greatly! We had smiles and great service from the moment we parked at the valet! The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and hit all the small details! The atmosphere was hands-down perfect! Dim lights, NYC SkyLine view, beautiful music! I would recommend it every time and we will be back! Thank you, Son Cubanos, for a great treat!Parking: Valet was great service“
“Came here around 8pm on a weeknight without a reservation and were able to get seated right away. The vibe of the place was great and the service was prompt, but I am giving this place 4 starts because the food was absolutely mediocre and overpriced for what it was. I got the salmon and it came with white rice and bok choy. There was absolutely no flavor to the white rice, it was just a big serving of white rice. The bok choy was steamed and lightly seasoned and the salmon was good, but nothing special. That dish was priced at $33 and was mainly comprised of white unseasoned rice. Maybe their other dishes are better, but the salmon was not worth that much. Also, this is a Cuban restaurant, but the Cuban sandwich was only available for lunch“
“We came for drinks during the happy hours. This place was packed with people. We had mojito and virgin pinacolada. The drinks were absolutely on point! I'd definitely come back for some drinks. Pina colada tastes like dessert! Creamy and dreamy ?“
“Just ordered on Uber Eats and it is by far the best cuban food that I've found since moving here from Miami!!! Will definitley be ordering again!! Only place up north that I've found that makes the simple staples: Empanadas/Croquettes/Sandwiches correctly!!!“
“Omg this is my absolute favorite restaurant in NJ ! The space is very small but it definitely give the vibes of a small mom&pop restaurant in the New York. The food is delicious I would definitely recommend you try the garlic chicken and shrimp ?“
“Was pleasantly surprised when I first saw them open. Had been looking for a new place to eat and La Caridad 72 did not disappoint. The food is, in a word, Delicious!!! It's been a real joy sampling the many culinary delights found on their diverse menu. They have something tasty for every type of palette. Recently tried their beef stew and I can't stop thinking about the sauce. Utterly amazing!!! Between their wonderful food and their friendly, top notched staff, you can not go wrong dining at La Caridad 72. Bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring your kids. You WILL NOT be disappointed!!! Enjoy, I did :-)“
“Chino Latino food, a delectable fusion of chinese with latino influence. I really liked the old school vibe, kinda retro from grandad days. Food is tasty and portions are large, so come here when you are hungry. Crispy chicken crackling, served with fried rice is a favourite and don’t forget to ask for the yummy green sauce. I travelled like halfway round the world to this place when i first spotted it on instagram.“
“There's is no better place to eat than at La Casona in Union City NJ. The price is reasonable, atmosphere, service and the food is fantastic. The price is right. Forget about paying 16 $ for arroz con picallado .Here at La Casona you will only pay $10.00 Check their daily price for the weekly cheap menu. No more that $ 11.00BYOB“
“This was me and my friends’ go to stop for empanadas!! We would come here every sunday for lunch, but sadly they got rid of the fried ones and now baked and not nearly as good as the old ones :((( please bring back the old empanadas, we would look forward to those every week!!!“
“I have been visiting Did Amigos for over 20 years. Highly recommend the flavors in this steak sandwich. Make sure you get cheese and onions. Batido de trigo is also delishious. Cash only local spot.Parking: You can park in the lot above the restaurant for 1 hour , just make sure they stamp your card.“
“Literally the best breakfast place in Lyndhurst. The sweetest staff and delivery driver. Never met a better place full of the best people.Kid-friendliness: They host 11-12 lunch times for the nearest high school and middle school. They are so patient and understanding of all the hungry students.“
“Great local spot in Hoboken, must have a reservation if you are going on a weekend evening as they are packed. First off they are BYOB which we did not know but was not an issue. We sat at the bar and ordered the Churrasco Sandwich which had grilled sliced skirt steak, caramelized onions, chimichurri sauce, potato sticks a solid 9/10 and a must try. I ordered the Camarones al Ajillo which was sautéed jumbo shrimp, white wine garlic sauce. For the price of $26 I was expecting more than 4 small shrimp that with needed to search for in the excessive amount of sauce given. The Maduros were okay and unfortunately were not made fresh to order. The yuca was great as it was steamed and not fried. Our service was outstanding and the ambiance is a bit crowded but a cozy feel for a Cuban spot. I would definitely like to come back and try more of their menu.“
“I'd recommend pio pio to all my friends and family. It's one of the best restaurants in the area, in my opinion. Must try the caleo Gallegos, and the tamal en cazuela, it's by far one of the best in the are. Thank you guys for the great food, I truly appreciate it and enjoy it very much!“
“The most outstanding catering that I've ever ordered. You wouldn't think to go to a steakhouse for Rigatoni Bolognese and eggplant parmigiana but MAN! 354's version was next level. Every item that I ordered for my team was a 10 out of 10. The restaurant itself has a great vibe, but I'm telling you - the catering is where it's at! Great job 354. ??????????“
“Moras Take Out is a culinary gem! From the Tequenos to the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, each dish is a flavor-packed delight. The attention to detail and commitment to authenticity shine through in every bite. The diverse menu, including Quesadillas and Vaca Frita, caters to various tastes. The Kids Menu is a thoughtful touch. With impeccable service and a charming atmosphere, Moras Take Out earns a solid 5 stars. A must-visit for a genuine taste. I’m really happy the location it’s in very close to me. Family owed which gives it that home cook meal feel.“
“Stopped by for dinner with my husband. We ordered the ropa vieja with extra meat and a side of maduros. Service was excellent and the food was very tasty. We enjoyed trying all the different flavorful sauces even though the food didn't need anything extra! The portion of maduros was very large. We enjoyed everything overall! Next time I'll try and save room for dessert!“
“I loving everything. So delicious and fresh. The flavors melt in your mouth.. everything is done perfect with so much delicious taste. Everyone is so nice. And the place looks very nice and clean. I definitely be back. My son lovedddd the food too.. is really is so delicious. ?❤️“
“Good Cuban food. Glad to find vegetarian options for Lunch. Staff is super friendly. Manny the host has amazing vibes. Loved the overall experience and a place to have a quiet sit down lunchVegetarian options: Some vegetarian options. Spinach Empanada was good“
“Nestled in the heart of our town, The Cuban Union City offers an authentic Cuban culinary experience that is both delightful and unforgettable. As soon as you step inside, you are warmly greeted by the vibrant atmosphere and the friendly staff, setting the stage for an extraordinary dining experience. The empanadas are a crispy delight, with a golden exterior that crunches satisfyingly at the first bite. Filled with a mixture of seasoned meat, each empanada is a flavorful explosion that captures the essence of Cuban cuisine. An unexpected surprise, the guacamole chips at offer a fresh and innovative take on traditional Cuban sides. The chips, perfectly seasoned and crispy, paired with three different style guacamole, make for an irresistible combination that's hard to stop eating. The drinks are great as well, don’t miss them out!!Overall, what sets The Cuban apart is not just its exceptional food but also its outstanding service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome and taken care of. Their recommendations are spot-on, and their attentiveness adds an extra layer of warmth to the dining experience.“
“I would return tomorrow if I could. Dinner with a party of 6 people. The waitress was kind and informative. For apps we have empanadas, gauc with painting chips and croquettes. They were all delicious and fresh. I got the Havana Shrimp for dinner. The shrimp was succulent and plump. I got so full I ended up having to bring half of my dish home. It did not disappoint. It's BYOB. They mix our wine with the house sangria. It was delicious. Rebeca is truly a hidden gem and I would recommend to everyone “
“Cuban fare, pretty reasonable. They take care of emergency service personnel. They do make an effort to speak english. Overall the food is decent and even if you make up your own plate, they dont complain.Parking: Better to walk. Parking is street parking and good luck finding a spotWheelchair accessibility: Ground level. No issue with a wheelchair“
“Everything was GOOD! Professional, friendly service and mmmm the guava & cheese empanada ❤️❤️❤️ Delicious fresh squeezed juices and all the Cuban favorites on the menu. Great atmosphere in the kitchen and dining room too. Highly recommend.“
“Gilbertos has been around for a long time. So no need to say that the food is very good. The service also outstanding and the ambience. Well it's a cafeteria type place with a few tables and a full counter. They are Cuban sandwich is really good and so is the ropa vieja.“
“Thank you for not disappointing. My friends and I had a girls' night, and they had not known this existed. They were happy with their meals and impressed with the place.I had been here twice, and the 3rd time was still a charm.Gives the other Cuban places a run for their money.“
