“Little disappointed at this place. Saw they had Crispy Beef with Fresh Honey Walnuts Beef with a bed of steamed broccoli in a sweet brown sauce topped with sugared walnuts. Not crispy as from can see in pic. Was this really beef also? Walnuts were plain as well.Steamed Spinach Dumplings were a bit dry . Hunan Dumplings Spinach and beef dumplings topped with spicy peanut sauce. Spicy. I got not spicy but were very good. Would I try again. Yes think I would.“

“I have lived in town for about 6 years. We found this restaurant online and gave it a try. We ordered the pineapple and chicken fried rice, a dish called Phoenix, and the General Tso's Shrimp. “In my continued quest to find a New York style Chinese restaurant, based on recommendations from neighbors, I tried this restaurant. I ordered online at their website which was fairly easy to do. Being a bargain hunter I couldn’t resist the family dinner for six. It came with six egg rolls, six chicken on sticks, six cheese wontons, 2 quarts of soup, two quarts of fried rice, and choice of three entrees. It came with all of the appropriate sauces, crispy noodles, etc. The delivery was promised in 55 minutes and the food arrived exactly on-time. The egg rolls were crispy and very good. The chicken on the stick was very moist and tasty. The wonton soup was tasty and very traditional. The cheese wontons were a very nice starter and the dipping sauce added nice sweetness. For entrees we had sesame chicken which got a thumbs up from my wife. I ordered roast pork lo mein which was also a thumb up. I struggled deciding on a third entree and finally gave in to honey chicken (not my personal favorite because of the thick coating batter). Overall, a very competent dinner. I’m glad the food was really good because we’ll be eating the leftovers for many days!“

“Came here for lunch, they have a lunch special Monday-Saturday 11am-3pm. I had the general Tso chicken. Overall my food was good. It was spicy, fresh, and flavorful. The restaurant is clean and tidy, although, they should make it look prettier with some Chinese decor. Food was served fast. No complaints or issues. I would recommend this restaurant.“

“Been going to this place for many years and can't believe I have never reviewed it before. One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. We have tried quite a few but always come back to China City. The food is fresh and tasty, portions are large and orders are ready when they tell you. Family that runs it is wonderful. They were closed during a good portion of Covid and we struggled to find an acceptable replacement. Judging by the lines out their door when they reopened many other people thought the same.“

“Great place for dim sum. They have a wide variety of classics (like egg tart, chicken feet, fried pork buns, etc) and non-classics (like clams, shrimp, crab, mango sago, etc). Their prices range from $4.50 for a small dim sum to $12 for “chef” dim sum.

The service is fast. We came during brunch hours on a Sunday and even though there was a lot of people, we were instantly seated. And as soon as we got a table, the dim sum carts swung by right away. The servers can be a bit aggressive in insisting you take certain dishes (by placing them on the table before you’ve agreed to them), but as long as you say no they’ll take them away.

The inside is your typical Chinese dim sum restaurants with round tables and many dim sum carts running around.

The bathroom is clean and large with multiple stalls. It looks relatively new.

We parked in the lot outside and had no trouble finding parking.

There doesn’t seem to be good reception for AT&T here so we had some trouble navigating away after eating here.

“It was a baby shower hosted by the parents of the first time mother. The menu chosen by the father was selecting 90 percent of the delicious dim sum on themenu. We had every dish commonly enjoyed by families.

“The food at this Chinese restaurant is super good. I recently moved to Fairfield and needed to find a good spot for Chinese takeout out. So, I tried joy wok. I ordered sesame chicken combo and the Mongolian beef. They were both super good. I don’t normally like my sesame chicken a little spicy and they made it just right for me.
The customer service is also great. I had accidentally ordered white rice with the Mongolian beef and when I picked up my order they switched it to fried rice right away with no extra charge. Everyone there is super nice. Definitely recommend if you are in the area in search of a good Chinese spot.“

This is a highly recommended dish by my cousin. Nearly every table orders this. The fresh shrimp and cabbage are stir-fried to perfection with a fragrant oil. I once packed this dish for a colleague from Qingdao, and she raved about it all the way home!
