“Went here after a meeting the other day with a couple people for a late dinner. Not being from the area we looked at what was close by and found Luigi's and we're glad we did!!We had exceptional service by our waiter Patrick and met the owner Sam,who was extremely friendly and welcoming. Sam sat and chatted with us for awhile and we can't say enough good things about him!!The food was amazing . We had the shrimp and scallops, the chicken supreme l, which I HIGHLY recommend, and chicken Parm. Each dish was more than enough, not drowned in sauce, and everything was fresh!If you're in the area definitely give it a try and give the chicken supreme a taste!!!“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“Waited an hour in line but the food was well worth the wait! They use the right amount of 5 spice season to make the chicken perfectly seasoned. Despite the long wait, you're not guaranteed a table. We were in the front. This place is not ideal for groups of 3 if you're trying to get into the back room. The hostess wouldn't even put us on the waitlist for the back room.“

“One word, phenomenal! My best friend and I had dinner here during our weekend trip and Daniel exceeded every expectation we could’ve had. We chose the Five Course Prix Fixe menu with caviar service and both the food and staff were excellent. We had such a great experience that we’ve decided to visit a new Michelin Star restaurant every year as a girls trip. Thank you all for making our experience exceptional.“

“Another fantastic dinner at PS Kitchen. Highly recommend the Thai Chili wings, crabby cakes and Brussel Sprouts. Our table also had the Linguini Alfredo, Cesar wrap and the Thai Sweet Chili Sandwich. We didn’t like the pretzel bun but otherwise everything was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Staff are friendly and we did not feel rushed. Will definitely be coming again and highly recommend.“

“I came here for my birthday dinner. The staff here were so friendly and helpful. They explained the tasting course thoroughly. The first course was a set of three little dishes and the rest was a sort of "choose your own adventure" type of thing. My brother, husband and I each ordered something different and we got to try most of the menu that way. The presentation was impeccable and the food was top notch. They presented me with a cute little birthday dessert with a candle. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.“

“The place is nice, it smells like smoked food indoors which I don’t enjoy a lot but if you’re ok with that scent, the place is warm. A little snob, but maybe that’s the vibe they want to share around. We had reservation but it was delayed, and we couldn’t have a drink while we’re waiting. The food was tasty, but not crazy to wait for delays. However, the place is cute if you don’t mind those details. Some people of the staff, great, others a little snobby and not friendly. Extremely loud place too, if you like to have a conversation, it’s not the kind of place I would recommend. You should try it at least once to find out tho, maybe it’s fine for you. I like lively places but not the ones with such much noise that you can’t hear the person next to you.“

“We found this gem of a bar/restaurant and visited five or six times. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff very professional and friendly. Eddie provided excellent service and Gabriel the owner is so welcoming and friendly and has time for everyone. The food was out of this world - particular mentions are Ravioli Zucca and the Brasato di Costolette di Manzo (short ribs to die for). The bomboloni (Italian doughnuts with chocolate and caramel sauces) is one of the best desserts I’ve had! We would definitely recommend this place. It’s in an excellent location opposite Central Park.“

“Amazing food, drinks, and service! The birds of paradise drink was amazing if you like a little spice. They brought out bread (including gluten free bread) with a dipping sauce of olive oil, garlic paste, and peppers that was incredible. We split the caviar topped tater tots, tuna crudo, broccoli (served over yogurt, so unique and one of the best veggie dishes we’ve ever had), and the limone pasta on a gf noodle (gf noodle made in house and my non-gf friend said it was amazing pasta even among non-gf. Every bite was amazing. Top tier service. So knowledgeable about dietary needs. Cute ambiance. Can’t wait to return!Dietary restrictions: Very gluten free friendly! Can modify almost every dish. While we had a blast, we misunderstood the bottomless brunch deal: on top of paying for an entree, you can get bottomless drinks for 90 minutes for 30 something dollars, which when you look at it you better be drinking A LOT for it to make financial sense, so be warned.“

“Amazing place! My brother and I are both vegan and have a ton of allergies and the wait staff was super accommodating. The food is spectacular too - I took 2 animal eaters and a vegetarian to the restaurant and they couldn't tell the difference between the kebabs and meat. We had the "chicken", "beef", and kofta kebabs, along with the "chicken" gyros, "lamb" cigars, and hummus. I was a big fan of all the kebabs, and thought the "chicken" gyros were amazing too. The desserts were also great - highly recommend.Vegetarian options: It's an entirely vegan restaurant.“

“Lunch at abcV is surprisingly good as we didn't expect the plant based food menu. I just wanted to grab some lunch with my wife. It was like stumbling into a secret society where the members wield spatulas instead of swords and are on a valiant quest to elevate plant-based eating from mere sustenance to an art form. They don't just serve food; they serve enlightenment on a platter, with a side of cosmic wisdom and a sprinkle of culinary wizardry. Imagine if a Zen garden and a high-end spa had a love child, and that love child decided to open a restaurant with high vibration foods, balance and beauty, wellness, wisdom, and love? So much love, I feel the urge to hug my waiter (consensually, of course) but my wife said no. It's all designed to nurture not just our personal ecosystems but the planetary one as well. Eating here, I can't help but feel like I'm saving the world, one bite at a time. And the food--it's like each dish has been kissed by Mother Nature herself, then sent to culinary school. “Ever since you reopened, the food has been exquisite. The earlier years when it was GB&G, the different chefs never really found themselves. Since the reopening and the re-emergence of the original chef, I think, the food is back to its glory as it was 15 years ago. Regardless, service has always remained superlative. “We came in last Thursday night for some pre dinner drinks while on vacation and we're so glad we found this spot! Our trip was drink/food focused and the bartenders here did not disappoint. My husband and our friend had a "Ramos Gin Fizz", (which was literally like the best cocktail I have ever tasted), I would have had one myself but I was already three deep into the Cucumber Mint Collins (which was also delicious)! There was a great live band playing and it was just what we needed after not being in the city for so long. Can't wait to come back!! Did I mention the bartenders were awesome? “This was our first time to Alfred Portale’s new restaurant and our entire experience was perfection! Everything we ordered was delicious. The seasonal soft-shell crabs were incredible—very nicely fried and presented beautifully over their perfectly paired sauce. We loved the Malfadine and especially the Lumache with its ragu bianco—sublime! For dessert, the olive oil cake was so moist and flavorful—even better than my wife’s—and the chocolate flourless cake was rich and delicious and surprisingly light. Our server Lani and staff Shah attended to our every need, the sommelier Michael made excellent recommendations for food pairing, and the executive manager David was an exceptional host who politely checked in with us and made us feel very welcomed. After learning that we had trouble deciding on which dessert to share, David and Lani even comped the dessert we didn’t order; such a gracious gesture. Our favorite Italian restaurant in NYC has been Ai Fiori for many years, but Portale is just as great, perhaps better. We look forward to dining there again soon!“

“Been here several times idk what took so long for the reverse, but this place is 10/10. Always great customer service and ambiance. Been for lunch when calm and busy dinner time. Food is always on point freshly made and hot. Flavors are robust. Pricing is average, but worth it. Love how much the business has grown. Can't wait to continue going back and bringing new people with me. The spicy calamari as appetizer never fails. For main course i had the penne (don't remember exact name) had mushroom and truffle added chixken as protein. My niece had the lobster spaghetti and she loveddddd it! “A very pleasant pre-theater dining experience, so convenient to the show. We ordered just the green salad to start, which was delicious, fresh and refreshing. Interesting flavor combinations in the pastrami flavored duck and side dish of spaghetti squash for my husband. “I’m so happy our original Christmas Eve reservation was cancelled and we found this gem. It was perfect. Romantic ambience, beyond excellent service, food was delicious, drinks were strong. My boyfriend and I shared: Appetizers: -Seared scallops: I know right, scallops. Generic usually? But these were in an amazing sauce which was devoured with our side of bread. -Octopus carpaccio: Perfect amount of freshness to balance the rich scallops. Main: -The wood fired fish for two: they brought the fish out from the kitchen to show us the fish in flames and that was very cute and appreciated -Meatless Rigatoni: I seriously held on to this dish to the very last moments even though I didn’t have enough room to finish it lol I was obsessed with the sauce Dessert: - Panna Cotta: the balsamic reduction was something I did not expect with this dessert but it was magical“

“This site is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place.
