“I'm a truck driver delivering near by and decided to try this place out because it was close and I'm so glad I did, I got a slice, some manicotti and they threw in a chunk of their homemade bread. Everything tasted so good, the slice was amazing. Pepperoni, cheese and sauce tasted so fresh and flavorful, the home made bread is really good and the manicotti was really good, the pasta is the perfect al dente and the ingredients taste so good and fresh, I kinda wish I ordered a second slice or a whole pie to take with me on the road. If I'm ever in the area again will definitely be coming back. Great lil shop and the owner was a really nice guy and very courteous to me you can tell he loves what he does. Recommended.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“San Sabino in New York gets a solid 4 out of 5 from me. The food was tasty and fresh and compared to their sister restaurant is definitely more fish forward. I made a point to try some of their most popular dishes. The lobster ravioli was flavorful and well executed. The cheese appetizer was balanced and nicely presented, though I would probably pass on it next time. The star of the night was the spicy tuna appetizer, which really stood out in both flavor and texture. The decor is beautiful and creates a great atmosphere, and the service was friendly throughout the meal. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.“

“I really came fully prepared to hate on this place, most of all because C picked it, but also because it is hyped to death. Further hatred materialized when I waited in line for our reservation and felt like a schmuck.

Then I realized the line wasn't for people with reservations, I went inside, we were seated immediately, our waiter was fabulous, the food was fabulous, and the wine was fabulous. Everything was phenomenal and extra, extra good.“

I appreciate Kimika’s creative menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Our waitress Kara/Cara was so friendly and helpful. I started with a Spritz that I think could’ve used some more bubbles, but the flavors were on point. The food was good but I felt like there could’ve been a bit more flavor. We tried the Truffle Carbonara, Soy Butter Bigoli, and Eggplant Katsu - I think the Bigoli was my favorite (think elevated lo mien). For dessert, we tried the lava cake, matcha French toast (would get it with ice cream if I were to over come again) and the Nutella Bombolocini (very creative - think mochi stuffed with Nutella).
Overall, I loved the concept of Kimika and the service, but I think there could’ve been just a tad more flavor in some of our dishes. Definitely a place to try once!“

Not only was he funny, he knew his pasta! We felt like old friends by the time we left! The bartender was not only beautiful to look at, he too treated us like old friends! He meet us at the door on our way out and gifted me with a juicy birthday kiss! Totally made my night!“

“We wound up at Maestro for a birthday celebration. The service was excellent. The food was very good. Good wine selection. Delicious hot bread (from the menu). The pastas were al dente perfection. The swing seats were super comfortable, and a fun decor touch. This restaurant is rustically casual, more brightly lit than most (I might have preferred it a touch darker at dinner time, tbh), and the noise level was low (although it was only about half full when we were there, so I can't say what it's like when full). When no one at our table asked for dessert, they brought us a tiramisu with a candle in it, and didn't charge us, which was a super-lovely gesture. I'd definitely recommend Maestro for a fun date, a group of four for dinner, or any casual meal where you want great service and authentic Italian pastas and wine, in a casual environment.“

“Finally scored a Resy Notify for this reservation and it was well worth it! We got a reservation around 5 or 5:30 I wanna say and within minutes of us getting there, the restaurant went from empty to bustling and packed in what felt like a manner of minutes! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the large windows allow for wonderful lighting - first, for happiness and second, for the Gram. We tried a bunch of different things that were all delicious. What really struck me was how simple these dishes were yet packed with a delightful combination of flavors. Of all that we tried, would highly recommend the whipped ricotta, mezze rigatoni, and ricotta- filled occhi. I came here a few months ago and cannot recall the gelato flavors but we tried all three and were not disappointed in the least. I hope to come back here soon!!“
