“An absolute gem. For the price and quality u cannot beat this place. Two pepperoni slices and a drink. For cheaper than a single slice at the fancy places. And taste better than them too. I don’t get why America tried to make fancy versions of pizza because they’re failing miserably. The shit that the “top” slice shops in nyc make are totally pretentious and have no resemblance to Italy at all. I think what makes New York pizza is an uncanny amount of grease dripping onto a plate at an affordable price. And this place does that. I believe that’s what New York pizza truly is.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“Absolutely the best food in NYC we finally got a bar seat this past Saturday was in the city for pride we have been trying for years everything was spot on crysathenn salad, the stuffed flatbread and lasagna and cocoa tiramisu“

“San Sabino in New York gets a solid 4 out of 5 from me. The food was tasty and fresh and compared to their sister restaurant is definitely more fish forward. I made a point to try some of their most popular dishes. The lobster ravioli was flavorful and well executed. The cheese appetizer was balanced and nicely presented, though I would probably pass on it next time. The star of the night was the spicy tuna appetizer, which really stood out in both flavor and texture. The decor is beautiful and creates a great atmosphere, and the service was friendly throughout the meal. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.“

“Is very hard to find a good quality and real pasta in NYC. Pasta cacio Peppe and puttanesca were very good and soooo delicious. Everything was very fresh. I highly recommend their own basket of bread.First time in my life I was eating something delicious like this bread. Panna cotta and Tiramisu also was so delicious. I definitely back to this restaurant“

“cameriera italiana con capelli corti. scortese e molto maleducata. non tornerò piu. non ha saputo ne servire il cliente oltre al fatto che dovrebbe farsi un corso di corretto italiano prima di parlare con un cliente in quel modo. pessima pubblicità al locale. peccato e mi dispiace ma non tornerò più.“

“Via Carota still feels like the West Village I remember.
I used to live on Grove, and back then it felt like more of a neighborhood secret. Now there’s almost always a crowd outside and someone trying to get the perfect corner table photo—but somehow it still feels real.
That’s hard to pull off.
I like it best at the bar. Cocktail, a few plates, nowhere to be. The room is busy and packed, but still somehow cozy instead of chaotic.
Zucchini fritti, tagliatelle, and a mezcal margarita - the zucchini fritti disappeared fast—light, crisp, salty, exactly what you want with a drink. The tagliatelle was simple in the best way. Perfect pasta, balanced flavors, nothing trying too hard.
Still a neighborhood favorite.“

“This place really lived up to the hype - all the food was fantastic esp the ricotta crostina, meatballs, rigatoni, and the rice balls, but everything was above average. Additionally service was great, and very lively fun atmosphere, plus it was really warm given how cold its been recently. All and all i think its a great place to take a group of 8 or more for reasonably priced italian food that has above average taste. I will definitely be back.“

“Everything was great, and appreciated the friendly service. Highly recommend checking this place out.
+ Fires of Vesuvius was our favorite cocktail. Strong flavor and great spice level.
+ Enjoyed the crudo. It was light and fresh, packed with flavor.
+ Monkey bread seems popular, so I don't have much to add. I will say, it was larger than expected and pretty filling!
+ Definitely preferred the riggies over the rotalini. I just don't think we had the palate for the broccoli rabe.
+ Panna cotta had three or four layers, so satisfying to take a spoonful.
+ Baba-yaki was interesting. Great texture, and fun to eat. I don't think I ever tried amaro. It was definitely an adjustment.
Overall, it was a lovely and creative experience, with lots of little surprises throughout the evening.“

“Honestly, a stunning gem of a neighborhood restaurant. I loved their beet salad with dates, the dates were so soft and juicy. The pork chop was very good, but just a little bit dry for my taste. The desserts were smashingly good, we had the olive oil cake with cream in a prune sauce, as well as the coffee mousse. Would highly recommend!“

“The spinach mascarpone pasta was 10/10 the flavor was incredible! I would actually skip the ricotta toast- I wasn’t impressed. The rest was good, the squash pasta was another standout.
We were a tad rushed for a table of four, the rest of the pastas were OK (Ragu was a tad salty), good wine selection and cocktails were delicious all in all, 3.5-4/5!“

“Let me be blunt. This Italian restaurant is not a typical one that blue collared people visit. It's for the sophisticated ones. The food is served in small bowls that you can share. It's a different experience that you can try. Interesting is what I can say! By the way, this is a BYOB place.“

“From the moment you walk into the door they made you feel special. The atmosphere was excellent and elegant. The food was top notch and reasonably priced. The service I can not begin with how much they went out of there way to feel like you were there only customer it made the whole night more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great night out with great Italian food. I only wish Chazz the owner was there cause I'm a big fan but that only means I'll have to go back.“

“Visited on Tuesday evening quite late and had such an amazing experience at Osteria Nonnino. We shared a pizza to start, followed by fish and the vodka pasta for mains – every dish was absolutely outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and we felt so well looked after from start to finish. The food was honestly second to none. Such a hidden gem, would highly recommend to anyone in NYC.“
