“First off, I was met with by a staff member in a cowboy hat (LOVE!) The booth was so soft and comfy and the table stands are ornate. I had the short rib and the meat was fall off the bone delicious! It was so tender and the sides were so plentiful and delicious. Each side had something a little different to pair well with the meat; sweet, salty, savory! I also had the shik Karak which was a delicious tea and for dessert, I had a banana crepe drizzled in chocolate. They do have a flair with food and I will definitely be back here!“

“This is hands down the best charcoal-style Chinese BBQ skewer spot in the U.S.! We’ve been multiple times and it never disappoints. The meats are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the service is consistently excellent.

Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s a small inconvenience for such an amazing dining experience—it doesn’t affect my five-star rating at all. Truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend!“

“We had korean bbq. It was pretty costly, but the meat, as far as I can tell, wasn't cheap meat, so all was good.

They also give you a good variety or banchan and they'll make fried pork belly rice if you leave some pork belly pieces after having the kbbq (add. charge)“

The last time we came the service was not great, Damien completely changed how we feel about Kpot Englewood. He was very attentive, changed the grill every time it even appeared dirty, refilled waters regularly and checked on us numerous times. “Can we talk about the owner for a bit? He is legitimately the sweetest most attentive person I have ever met. Our group of four, stumbled at Defient brewing co. on a Friday in Memorial Day weekend, and the owner was the most attentive, sweetest host imaginable. “My only complaint is that this place is a little expensive for what it is. This is a great family restaurant place. The KBBQ is a bit expensive and I didn't get it. Instead i got Bulgulgi (Kitchen) and some Bimbimbap.

Both were great. Would come back again.“

“I recently went to a Korean BBQ place in New Jersey for the first time with my boyfriend, and it was a really fun experience! We went there for dinner, and overall, it was a nice spot to try something different. The price was on the expensive side, but I guess they do things a bit differently here, so it felt special.

The meat tasted super fresh and was cooked perfectly. What’s cool about this place is that they cook the meat for you at the table, so you don’t have to do it yourself. It’s a great way to enjoy the food without worrying about overcooking it! The unlimited side dishes were definitely a win. There were so many to choose from, and they kept refilling them, which was a nice bonus. The side dishes added a lot of variety to the meal, and everything was fresh and flavorful.

The service was really nice, too. The staff was friendly and respectful, and we even had a little chat with them, which made the experience feel more personal. They were attentive and made sure everything was going smoothly.

“OMG! This restaurant was awesome. It was right next to the Fairfield inn. We could walk to the place. What’s great surprise when we discovered it was a bbq place! Boom our heads exploded with the great smoky flavors flowing out from the kitchen. We were seated by a lovely lady who was very attentive and exited that we came in. The waitress was also great and was vey excited to tell us what her absolute favorites were so we jumped at the items she talked about. The mango chicken was absolutely delicious as was the bourbon chicken and the spicy chicken. Do yourself a favor and actually look at the complaints about this place before you make a decision.
