“This is hands down the best charcoal-style Chinese BBQ skewer spot in the U.S.! We’ve been multiple times and it never disappoints. The meats are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the service is consistently excellent.

Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s a small inconvenience for such an amazing dining experience—it doesn’t affect my five-star rating at all. Truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend!“

“First off, I was met with by a staff member in a cowboy hat (LOVE!) The booth was so soft and comfy and the table stands are ornate. I had the short rib and the meat was fall off the bone delicious! It was so tender and the sides were so plentiful and delicious. Each side had something a little different to pair well with the meat; sweet, salty, savory! I also had the shik Karak which was a delicious tea and for dessert, I had a banana crepe drizzled in chocolate. They do have a flair with food and I will definitely be back here!“

“First time visiting Moon Korean BBQ and we loved it!
From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the host and the staff. Our server, Ana, was amazing — so attentive, mindful, and friendly throughout our meal. We ordered the Supermoon set (BBQ and Shabu), and everything was delicious and fresh. Even our 9-month-old daughter enjoyed the experience! Great food, great service, and such a welcoming atmosphere. “Great food with great service from happy people. Our waitress was so nice and attentive to our group. My niece casually mentioned she liked the ice (to chew on) and the waitress somehow overheard this and brought her a glass of ice. When she said she wished she could take it with her the nice lady reappeared with a plastic cup of ice to go. The whole evening was like that, almost like being in a family kitchen.“

“By far my fave kbbq spot. The meats are high quality and the servers are always very friendly. Their marinated short ribs and house special spicy pork are my absolute faves. Love how the charcoal flavor gets into the meat. Their mool nengmyun (buckwheat noodles in a cold broth) compliments their bbq meats really well, and their broth is the real deal. The Korean-style beef tartare (over seasoned sushi rice) is phenomenal and my must-eat every time I go.“

“After not coming for a long while because of our experience… I am so happy we decided to come back! Damien was our waiter and he was PHENOMENAL!! The last time we came the service was not great, Damien completely changed how we feel about Kpot Englewood. He was very attentive, changed the grill every time it even appeared dirty, refilled waters regularly and checked on us numerous times. He had lots of tables but made us feel like we were the only ones he was taking care of! Food was great!“

“This place is absolutely incredible I love Firepit ! I tried some menu items that I never tried before including wings and an incredibly juicy burger with fries!

For our entree I shared a bbq platter with beef ribs, pork ribs, chicken, chorizo. Everything was incredibly tasty and delicious with just the right amount of salt! For sides we also shared French fries and yellow rice with black beans“

“We were driving from Baltimore to Richmond and specifically stopped to check out Honey Pig's new location. Wow what a great restaurant! Smells amazing when you walk in the door and the servers are beyond professional, friendly, and helpful. We ordered the bibimbap because we weren't quite hungry enough for AYCE. The BBQ at the table around us looked great though and next time would have planned to be hungrier for AYCE. Great food with good size portions. Wish we lived closer so we could go again and again but we will look forward to the next time we are nearby!“

“Tried Carlitos for the first time and my expectations were blown away. The food was amazing and extremely affordable! My bf and I got a little bit of everything to try. We ordered the 3 quesotacos special with chicken, fish, and brisket. All 3 were filled with so much flavor. Additionally we tried their chocolate churros and passionfruit aqua fresca which were also delicious. The service was cooked to order and very fast. We ordered and received our food in less than 5 minutes. Will definitely be coming back every time I’m at Garden State Plaza!“

“I’ve been coming to SGD Dubu So Gong Dong Tofu & Korean BBQ for years, and it never disappoints! The food is always delicious, comforting, and consistent—especially the tofu soup and LA Galbi. The flavors are authentic, the portions are generous, and the staff is always warm and welcoming.

“I don’t usually like trying new foods, so I was a little hesitant at first. But I went with my sister, who knows a lot about Korean food, and I’m so glad I gave it a shot — it was fire.

We ordered the tteokbokki with cheese, and it was so good. Spicy, cheesy, and super comforting. The soy garlic chicken was amazing too. I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but now I can’t wait to go back. Definitely worth trying, even if you’re picky like me!“

“I can't say enough great things about Defiant! Last week we hosted a small wedding reception and it was perfect. We were able to do anything we wanted with the space we had (we didn't rent the entire place, just a few tables). The food was great, as usual! The beers and other drinks were great and the price was so reasonable! We were able to use all the games at the brewery, and we were even able to play Terminator 2 on the projector which was a major bonus. The staff was truly wonderful which made everything even better. The owner, the cook, and the bartender were all so friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have a casual, and intimate wedding. Thank you guys SO much!“

“I have to say, some of the reviews on this establishment is bordering on satire. Recently went here and found the food to be fantastic! The mango chicken was absolutely delicious as was the bourbon chicken and the spicy chicken. Do yourself a favor and actually look at the complaints about this place before you make a decision. I’ll cut you a break and give you an example or two about the complaints. One complaint was about the use of paper bag oppose to plastic bags and another was the color of the food, the color! I mean I understand complaints about the quality of the food but when the complaints have nothing to do with the quality then I can’t and won’t take it seriously. People seriously need to stop crying and complaining about the silliest of things. Enjoy this place, I know me and my wife did!“

There are many choices for good Korean style fried chicken but i find BBQ’s to have the perfect blend of crispy/flaky on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. My personal favorite chicken place-ordering online 20 min before my gym session ends ensures a ready to go pick up with no wait time. Easy and convenient.“
