“I was looking online for a Chinese food place with great reviews when I first heard of Bamboo House. It’s only been a few times that I’ve been able to stop in since I don’t live close, but whenever I’m in Ridgewood, I like to get something to eat here. It’s tough to find a truly great Chinese restaurant & this place lives up to the hype. The portions are generous, the dishes are saucy & flavorful & fresh. What really seals the deal for me though is the service; they are kind & friendly in a warm, sincere way. Bamboo House has been in business for a long time, for good reason. 10/10“

Not crispy as from can see in pic. Was this really beef also? Walnuts were plain as well.Steamed Spinach Dumplings were a bit dry . Hunan Dumplings Spinach and beef dumplings topped with spicy peanut sauce. Spicy. I got not spicy but were very good. Would I try again. Yes think I would.“

“Excellent, excellent place. We always go when in the area. Well run restaurant served by the incredibly nice owners - very authentic food. Delicious soup dumplings, fried dumplings and one of the most delicious Asian meals I’ve ever tried - the Shanghai noodles (with beef and bok Choy) - bursting with smoky flavor. I also really like the string beans with pork and the eggplant dish. They also have hot pot soups - you pick all the ingredients and it loos good but didn’t try. Very affordable place as well. And they have outdoor seating. And parking. Can’t go wrong.“

“This is hands down the best charcoal-style Chinese BBQ skewer spot in the U.S.! We’ve been multiple times and it never disappoints. The meats are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the service is consistently excellent.

Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s a small inconvenience for such an amazing dining experience—it doesn’t affect my five-star rating at all. Truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend!“

But that place was closed on a Monday so I came to Great Wall. Very happy. Reasonably priced and delicious. NOT SALTY! I can't tell you the difference in the quality of food. “Came here for lunch, they have a lunch special Monday-Saturday 11am-3pm. I had the general Tso chicken. Overall my food was good. It was spicy, fresh, and flavorful. The restaurant is clean and tidy, although, they should make it look prettier with some Chinese decor. Food was served fast. No complaints or issues. I would recommend this restaurant.“

“I can’t say enough about this place. We have been ordering from them for 25 years. Never ever had a problem. Food is always great. We usually pick it up but get delivery every so often. The food comes so fast it’s unbelievable! And they are great about diet restrictions too!

“It's the only Chinese food restaurant i order from. Recommend getting their chicken wings and chicken and broccoli with pork fried rice. One thing I should mention from time to time they might accidentally forget to put hot sauce or forks but as long as you remember to mention it or take a quick check before you leave. “The food at this Chinese restaurant is super good. I recently moved to Fairfield and needed to find a good spot for Chinese takeout out. So, I tried joy wok. I ordered sesame chicken combo and the Mongolian beef. They were both super good. I don’t normally like my sesame chicken a little spicy and they made it just right for me.
The customer service is also great. I had accidentally ordered white rice with the Mongolian beef and when I picked up my order they switched it to fried rice right away with no extra charge. Everyone there is super nice. Definitely recommend if you are in the area in search of a good Chinese spot.“

“I have ordered from here several times and it’s always been pretty tasty. Today I ordered to work and upon delivery I got chicken instead of beef with broccoli. I called and they told me that they would fix my order a little later when the driver has a nearby delivery. I wasn’t sure wether or not I’d get my dish, but eventually they did come and swap the dish….not something you can take for granted these days when gas prices are through the roof. So tasty food and great service. I highly recommend east wok and will order from them again for sure :-)“
