“Sparta Taverna had always been great with their food and service! For this one time off, we made a huge office order and they forgot to submit my order therefore I had to make an individual order through grub hub. And because of the service fee and delivery fee I was charged at $30 for a salad. I've made a call to Sparta to let them know if they can throw in one small tzatziki sauce as a courtesy. They'd say "No" at first but when it arrived. Inside my lunch bag they gave me the sauce and a lollipop! So sweet! I wish for them to continue their business with great success!“

Delicious food (no matter what we've tried so far), cooked to perfection and full of flavors each time. Everything is fresh (which is very important to me) and made on the spot. “Always great food and a favorite. We've been getting takeout here for years since we moved to the area during the pandemic.The red lentil soup is my favorite and the spanakopita is amazing! We've had most items on the menu, you really can't go wrong. I prefer the Chicken Shih which is grilled and marinated chicken over the Chicken Gyro but they are both good. My husband enjoys the lamb.Because the dinning room isn't open yet and the blinds often closed, I think a lot of folks don't know it's open. It's a hidden gem in Ramsey and right near the train station.“

“This restaurant is amazing! We found the restaurant and seen they had great reviews through google. We hosted a family feast here, we had music, great food and great enviornment.The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great, the people are wonderful! Sandra is such a nice person, she waited on us at our family feast, she was so loving and caring and really made sure to cater to us and made us feel at home. The owner is an amazing guy, he worked with us to make sure we got all that we wanted from the menu, all the food was well cooked and fresh.I highly suggest this restaurant for any family events, parties or just a day out for lunch or dinner.Thank you so much! “What an amazing place! Friendly and nice location. Their cookies and Spanakopita are fresh and taste straight out of the oven. Soft, fresh and full of flavor! After becoming extremely sick and hospitalized early this year from visiting Zai’s Dessertery in Bergenfield and forcing myself to eat disgusting, stone hard, and sugar packed desserts, due to not being able to get my money back from the cashier, Athens Bakery has been a great find for sure. “Food is delicious here, always fresh and in good quantity, however prices have continued to go up since I first started going there and also with ordering takeout/delivery. Sometimes just ordering a Greek salad and a gyro, when all is said and done it's nearing $50. I know prices are up everywhere, but some things don't warrant such a jump in price. And definitely shouldn't stay at that price for the long term. Hoping prices will come down as food prices begin to improve.“

“We had our baby's first birthday party / Korean dohljanchi at Mado and it could not have been more perfect. Aret and everyone at the restaurant were so wonderful to work with. They were happy to work with my requests and made party planning so easy. The space was the perfect size with ample parking for our guests. “I've had Laffa Shawarma and Laffa chicken.Tastes good, good portion and fairly priced.Very few selections of add-ons to your meal, the place itself is as basic as it gets, but clean.Will occasionally return since there are no other options for Israeli Shawarma in the area.“

“Fantastic experience. We had reservations for a party of 6 and from the moment we stepped inside the service was impeccable. The fried cheese appetizer is outstanding, and our meals were delicious. Our waiter was very accommodating since we had a couple of vegans and the menu is predominantly seafood and meat. The Greek wines were also delicious. The overall vibe was great as well. Very bright and clean at 5:30 that evolved into a cool/trendy vibe as the night went on with darker lighting and candles. The restaurant was pretty full for a Tuesday evening. Very nice experience.“

“This is my favorite place to eat I probably go four times a week. The staff is amazing and so friendly every time without fail. The food is so good i could eat it every day and never get sick of it. So fresh and delicious.Dietary restrictions: I have celiac, which means I have to eat gluten free for medical reasons, and they accommodate me every time. They change their gloves for me and get me all food from the back to make sure there’s no cross contamination. The staff is so patient with me. They know who I am because of how often I go and they immediately take their gloves off to change them the minute i walk in the door. If you’re a celiac don’t be afraid to eat here!“
