“The food was amazing and portions were just right. I shared the mixed greens salad and the kitchen was nice enough to split that for us. The greens were fresh, the strawberries were sweet and delicious, the pecan and goat cheese and the dressing make for sure a wonderful salad. My husband had the Day Scallops that were perfectly prepared, my mother and sister each ordered the Pork riblets the meat was perfectly cooked and flew off the bones with ease. I had the Ahi-Tuna which was delicious. The service was very attentive and very professional.“

“We have been shopping here as our main grocery store pretty much since it opened. While it is a smaller Whole Foods, it tends to have a good stock of a good variety of items, both fresh and packaged. It is generally clean (with one exception, see below) and most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is an Amazon Locker here, so you can get your Amazon packages delivered to this locker, do your shopping, and then pick up your package all in one trip. There are a two issues I very much wish they would fix. For one thing, the restrooms are consistently not clean. This is a suburban store and doesn't get the volume of customers that an NYC store gets, but they don't seem to be able to keep the restrooms in good order. My other issue has to do with what they choose to stock in a couple of categories. The first is orange juice. I always look for organic orange juice not in a clear container (so as not to compromise Vitamin C). I just want organic orange juice in an opaque container the way it comes -- not pulp-free, not extra-pulp, not with Vitamin D added, etc. They never stock this. My other stocking issue has to do with ice cream. They have all kinds of interesting flavors, several kinds of dairy-free options, etc. but I just want a pint of premium, organic vanilla ice cream, straight up. This can sometimes be found but often they don't have it on the shelf even though they carry all kinds of great brands that would offer it. If only this store remedied these two issues, they'd be five stars for sure!“

“Just an overall great atmosphere! One or two more items on the menu would be nice; and the fried calamari were more like baby calamari. But overall a very nice place. Enjoyed the live band and great customer service.“

“Had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Food was excellent and the live music was great. They just so happened to play our wedding song which was perfect. My husband and I had the tuna tartar and scallops as an appetizer. The scallops were over this creamy sweet corn chowder with corn salsa and croutons - it was amazing and the best scallops I’ve ever had! Tuna tartar was delicious too. My husband had the pork chops with this mustard crust and eggplant sauce and I had veal milenase with an arugula salad on top. Both were really delicious meals. The veal was huge and definitely could have split that. Even though we were so full, we still managed to get the yummy Pineapple cake and hazelnut chocolate mousse for dessert.“

“My partner and I love ordering from here. We live in the neighborhood and it’s so convenient to have a place like this we can walk to for something delicious at a great price. I don’t think you could go wrong ordering anything off their menu; their pizza is the perfect Jersey pizza, their burritos are huge and taste SO fresh, and their cheeseburgers are like In N Out but WAY better quality. I was comforted by yummy chicken pot pie and unique cocktails. It has a lovely bar, with lounge areas, dining section and outdoor space. “We threw a drop-in Buffet dinner for family and friends at Houlihans for 30 to 35 people. The room is spacious and accommodated everyone comfortably. Our server Eileen was excellent and the food was delicious. Michelle who assisted with the catering was very detail oriented and help me plan a great event. “The people that work here are pretty friendly especially the ones that work the night shifts.

Only down side is that the prices are pretty comical if you are used to regular food prices. The owner has jacked up the price of fat sandwiches by almost $5 in within the past 2 years. I shouldn’t be paying $20 for a simple foot long sandwich that has a few fried foods in it.

Maybe have a student special meal as most of the business is from the High-school down the street.“

I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. My husband and I stumbled across this small grill diner hidden in the cut — and what a find! We stopped in for brunch and everything was spot on. He had the shrimp and grits, and I went with the meat lovers with egg whites. Both dishes were so good — seasoned just right and cooked perfectly. The food was delicious and the service was just as excellent. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy spot with quality food. 👌🏼“

“A big, delicious mess. That is what I expect when I order BBQ style items off a menu and that's what I received! I stopped by for lunch and ordered the BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich. It was much larger than I expected and I did my best to finish it but did not fully succeed. The meat was overflowing and the sauce got everywhere.

The sides were decent. I loved the slaw but the fries could have used a little salt.

I am in town for a few more days and will definitely be back to try the ribs and some happy hour specials.“
