“It was my first time here and the seafood kalguksu was so delicious. It's full of seafood, the broth is delicious, the servers are very friendly, and I highly recommend the soft tofu seafood kalguksu when you're craving something spicy. It's too bad I live far away and can't come often.“
“Stopped here on a trip back home, by chance as we stopped at the HMart around the corner. Beautiful space and waitstaff were so welcoming! We weren't up for a big meal but we got the mandoo soup and dumplings for our daughter. I know I probably should have ordered noodles as that is their specialty, but was unsure if it would affect my sugar levels a lot. I guess the mandoo wrappers would have similar effect, so, oh well! We were greeted with a warm broth tea that was delicious, a little salty, but so comforting on the cold day. Loved our mandoo soup! Flavor was so good! My only wish was that the mandoo in the soup was smaller. It was bigger than golf ball size and was a little difficult for me to eat without feeling I was doing so "inelegantly". They were filling too, but so much to bite into. But this is just my personal preference. Overall, great place and great food, with lovely ambiance and wait staff.“
“Top of the line exemplary Chinese Restaurant. We remember them from 30 years ago in Time Square. Service was impeccable. My only recommendation is get there early, we arrived at 5 and by 6 almost completely filled and reserve a table in the back, because takeout is so popular it fills the front. Highly recommend it with the most high quality Chinese (Taiwanese). I would have added photos but we all were too hungry, We will be back for Chinese New Year's, I'll hopefully remember to take pics.“

“Really the best neighborhood Thai in easy driving distance of Suffern. Unsurpassed quality of food. Everything we ate featured the complex flavors of good Thai food. We chose to come on the first day of Daylight savings time and the kitchen was overwhelmed by takeout orders. “Was randomly craving takeout tonight and decided to try this place. Takeout can be so hit-or-miss, and even as I was ordering I felt half prepared for a stomach ache afterwards—but I was so wrong and I’m honestly still surprised about it! I don’t think I’ve ever had fresher Chinese food in my life. It’s rare for me to write a review and I feel kind of silly but I appreciated my meal so much that now I gotta talk about it I guess! ?I got steamed dumplings and the sesame chicken, nothing fancy. But it was delicious and all of it tasted so clean and fresh—not greasy, oily, or too salty. The rice was perfectly steamed too, not wet and mushy and not dry. I ordered on Uber Eats not realizing how far away they are from where I live, but it was worth the delivery time and wasn’t too long of a wait. Everything was still warm too. If you’re on the fence because of their Google rating, just know that on Uber Eats they have a 4.8 rating with 100+ reviews. A great find, and I’m grateful. ☺️“
“I was looking online for a Chinese food place with great reviews when I first heard of Bamboo House. It’s only been a few times that I’ve been able to stop in since I don’t live close, but whenever I’m in Ridgewood, I like to get something to eat here. It’s tough to find a truly great Chinese restaurant & this place lives up to the hype. The portions are generous, the dishes are saucy & flavorful & fresh. What really seals the deal for me though is the service; they are kind & friendly in a warm, sincere way. Bamboo House has been in business for a long time, for good reason. 10/10“
